Fourth&, which opened in May 2018, is a 5 (out of 5) Star rated Austin Energy Green Building offering micro-loft, studio, one and two-bed options. From the rain gardens on the ground floor, to the solar panels on the roof, the building is full of green features which save you a tremendous amount of money in the long run. Now, how it's built is equally impressive. We took a three story low-rise building and built it like a high rise. There are almost 60 piers into the ground to support the concrete podium and steel framing system that surrounds the exterior of the building with 4.5 inches of foam and the steel framing on the interior.
