Because of the death of our son we haven't been in our new home very long. We found a few things that I know that they wiil take care of.

The homebuying experience was very smooth, very few hiccups and we were able to tour the property at any time. We were supposed to get weekly updates with pictures which started out consistent, but as the process got further along updates became more infrequent, we never received pictures along the way and communication was a bit lacking at times. Overall, everything went incredibly smoothly and we have had zero issues with our beautiful new home, and we couldn't be happier!

They have great choices of houses to choose from. The garage built could be made a little bigger. The one I got is a bit small. 1 or 2 feet extra would be better. The worst part of the house we bought is the HOA property management chosen by Beazer to manage the property, If we knew how bad the property mgmt is, we probably would not have bought the house. No one told us which company manages the property and the HOA until after we closed on the house.

The overall experience pre move in was wonderful. I have ran into several snags post move in with Kierstyn being less than helpful in regards to stains on my floors, paint jobs that needed to take place, and a transformer in the garage that needed to be replaced. I’ve asked several times for floors to be cleaned and spots on the wall to be repainted but I notice additional new spots on the wall and floor as well. Also I had a faulty transformer, per ADT, and we went back and forth on that for weeks. There was a vent in bedroom 3 that she helped her it fixed pretty quickly but it shouldn’t have been hanging off this early in the move in. Our homebuying experience was very good overall. We were living out of state and Jeff the building supervisor took videos everyweek and kept us up to date on progress of our build. Any questions that we had, Jeff got right back to us with an answer. The only negative is that downspouts and gutters do not come with the house (in South Carolina). We were never told that they were an option and had no idea that they did not come with the house. It was a cost that we were not expecting after moving into a new house.

For the most part it’s been a good experience other than a few things that have really bothered me. For instance, my home had a bunch of things that needed to be fixed, but it has now been 3 months and these items still have not been taken care. I have continued to check on these and there is no communication on these items. Also upon receiving the keys to my house, nobody has walked us through setting up our gate code, or how the HOA works, or where anything is. I just feel like they handed us keys and said figure it out. For a first time homebuyer experience I have felt rushed through the whole process and then forgotten about. We love the floor plan and fixtures. Our only concern was with the Project Manager. 6 weeks in and we already have some issues with the bathroom, kitchen, and other areas that were not installed properly. Honestly these problems could have been avoided if the PM was more competent.

Love this Duet living. Beazer takes pride in their attics and infrastructure. Some of that could have been transferred to some everyday upgrades i.e. larger shower in master. Builders might get some very competitive floor plans for future developments, if they asked existing homeowners -"what we would change".

Good communication from new home sales consultant. Well built homes. Very little warranty repair work after move in. Good fit and finish throughout the entire floor plan. Only suggestions for improvement would be to provide two trees in backyard, larger than 60 ft wide lots at this price range, add under cabinet lighting and upgraded quieter dishwasher as standard features. Tankless water heater is an awesome system.

Great experience with the building and purchase of the house.

D has been great to work with. He always tries to help with my requests, if he is able. He is quick to respond and always willing to help where and when he can. I really appreciate all of his hard work.

I'm a first time home buyer & bought my home at Cedar Township. Overall it was a good experience but there were some parts that were great. I would like to highlight the positives & recognize some of the staff who were amazing - Rusty & Laney!! They both deserve a 5/5. Beazer is so lucky to have them both. There were some things that still needed to be taken care of as of closing including a chipped & scatched countertop in the master bathroom. Bill was transferred to another community & I was in limbo & became nervous that things wouldn't be fixed before I move in. Laney introduced me to Rusty who made sure the countertop was replaced & each thing was fixed before I moved in. He made it easy & stress free for me. He has been & continues to be responsive, attentive, kind & makes sure things the work gets done which I really appreciate! Laney is really friendly & empathetic - she listens to your concerns & tries to help in any way she can. The wonderful thing about both Rusty & Laney is that they are still there when issues come up even after I closed on my home - this has been invaluable to me Warranty process could be improved - I am waiting on some things to get fixed through warranty & the responsiveness hasn't been great. I also contacted the HOA contact Kevon about several things & she only partially answers emails/dismisses concerns - edges on concrete slab next to patio are crumbling a month after I moved in & I was told "that just happens with new concrete" & that she won't be replacing the slab. I've asked her if sealing the decks is something HOA will cover in 3 different emails without a response ... Más

I'd like to thank the team at Beazer Homes, especially the head builder, as he paid very close attention to minor flaws that were found in the condo during the initial walk through. He ensured that everything would be fixed, and there was a quick turnaround, specifically with the touch up in painting up the stairwell. Thanks again for the wonderful service!

Excellent insulation and very confortable environment. However, I suggest to expand the smaller bedrooms to at least 12x12

Overall the experience is OK. There are couple of things I need to highlight. 1. We were asked to fill the survey immediately after closing which is not ideal. I feel the survey should be filled after the initial 45 days 2. The builder mentioned that our home is a spec home and the inspections were done multiple times. But, there are multiple things, I'm wondering, why are they not found during the inspection (or, found and did nothing about it!) 2.1. Builder told us about soft close on the cabinet doors in the walk-through, but it was installed only in couple of doors (and, they are not working as well). As per the builder, there was a shortage in the material and that is why it was not installed at that time and it is a standard on all master brand cabinets. But the warranty told that we don't have the option selected in the spec. I'm not sure who is correct! And, there is a big communication/support gap between warranty and the builder. 2.2. The A/C air intake was blocked with a sponge in the master bedroom and went unnoticed for a month until we wanted to change the filter. 2.3. The seams on the ceiling are showing up in many places. When I noticed that initially, I searched what it is and many of the results were pointing to a same thing - It is not fixed correctly. 2.4. Most of the wall bottoms trim base-boards are projecting outside and crooked, especially at the pantry and mudroom closet, kitchen island. Per the warranty, these are within the tolerance. But think about it when all the base boards are with the same problem, do they look good? 2.5. The master shower wall is not straight (and, it is within the tolerance per the warranty) and is very much visible while taking bath and also by just looking at the tile size. This is the case outside the shower as well. 3. In many homes, neighbors said the builder gave a pair of hoses and sprinklers before closing, but we were give just one. 4. When I removed the existing light fixture in the driveway, I noticed that the wall around the electric fixture was damaged and not sealed correctly. But, who ever installed it just left it since it is not visible. 5. The window/door frames had gaps with the walls (most of them) and were not caulked and one of top frame wood had punctures on it. The door and window top frames are not painted at all or not painted properly. I believe, they just left it that way since it is not a visible area. Community related improvements: 1. There are no safety grills installed in the pathways where there is a big slope to the pond area. 2. I feel, club house and park would be nice to the community since there are lot of kids in the community. 3. Speed bumps around the community to stop people from over-speeding. 4. Sprinkler installation by the builder is much easier and efficient (you can install it underground) than instructing people to install it by themself. 5. You could've de-sloped/straighten the backyards of all the houses (I was initially given a reason that it'll help with water drainage and I don't agree to that point since I've visited many houses around in Cary/Apex/Morrisville area and their backyards were flatten nicely even when there is pond behind it). We all paid for the backyard land, but not able to use it well (otherwise, we spend more to correct it). General house design improvements: 1. Since lot of people prefers mounting TV above the fireplace, it might be good idea to reduce the fire place size (especially height), position the electric outlets in a better way and provide the studs in the center to make the TV wall mount installation easier. 2. The garage door is making noise when opening/closing the garage to kitchen door due to air pressure (the sound is annoying and not sure if this even damage the garage door in the long run). I feel, this can be easily avoided by providing a ventilation on top of the garage door. The ventilation also helps to reduce the amount of heat in the garage. ... Más

This is our second home in the Cove community. Our process was straight forward and everyone was so accommodating when to came to scheduling appointments and answering questions.

The home was about 2 weeks late.

My wife and I had a great experience working the Beazer team. They worked very hard to meet all our needs and requests.

I had a good experience buying the home after having to fight for some changes. However, after the purchase, there were people coming around to pressure me into using them for home, car Insurance and security system that were affiliated with Beazer. As a recently widowed woman, this was all very stressful for me. I felt pressured to go with these companies, and since then have had issues with them and cancelled services. I do not recommend people coming around to pressure homeowners to buy their services.

I had a good experience with Jeff.

Our salesman Brad was great to work with. Matt, our builder, did a great job!! There are some minor issues that are scheduled for repairs. Warranty issues are being addressed.

We love our new home and the neighborhood. We had several small issues that Mr. Brian and John had repaired/fixed. We are overall satisfied with our purchase!

The sales people were outstanding!

The workmanship and the cleaning were not up to standard. Bob was great, keeping me up with the progress of the build.

We had a great overall buying experience with Beazer homes in Erwin farms. Our construction manager John was amazing throughout process and the closing process was very smooth.
