Once you close with trust no one turns up to complete walk through list nor any follow up...finishing of beazer homes is not good at all...thier manager changes and problem is faced by customer....all other pending work we are slowly doing out of our pocket....still have little trust if they finish the pending work of mine.

The day before putting down earnest money I was promised all these magical things- I would be helped for the first 30 days with any cosmetic issues and I would be helped if there was any warranty problems. This was my first time building a home and it wasn’t the experience I thought it would be. The builder blamed the long building process on the impact of coronavirus. (It was 6+ months when I was told it was a 3-4months process at escrow) I was very patient with the timing because I wanted my house to be done right. Unfortunately at the end the quality of the home was not up to par and the work was not professionally done correctly. After being in the house for a few months, you really start to notice the really poor quality of workmanship that has gone into the build. I have already submitted a workorder for an electrical problem ( but of course Covid will be the reason it cannot be fixed anytime soon.). Every door frame had been busted and repaired poorly. I had to repair the rain shower head myself. There was a large paint run on the front door that was supposed to berepaired, but it was just sanded, not repainted. Houses are very well designed and great floor plans but can't say the same about the workmanship. Also be prepared to move into a home that still has things that need to be completed or repaired. At least that has been my experience.

Pay attention to detail, guidelines, and false promises. The builder will contact the buyer constantly trying to get good marks on an after-closing survey in order to advance in the company and/or receive a bonus. After the survey was submitted, the builder has yet to complete prior promises. Multiple complaints from this new development regarding backyard fencing parameters and guidelines, we have been told three different fence lines at different instances. Many good features with the house but also many deficiencies. Toilets had the bowl 14-1/2 inches off the floor which does not meet the ADA minimum limits. Like sitting on the floor. We had to replace the toilets. Salesman showed us the shower we were getting in the sample house. Well it was deficient and we had to replace the shower head system. Salesman said just because it was in the sample home doesn't mean we would get the features. The alarm company always puts a module in the master bedroom. Our bedroom doesn't have a phone line. Builders are good, but staff must be in better integrity and coordinate their communication systems so as to not send the same documents 3-4 times. It held up the home buying process and creating many inefficiencies throughout. We like our home!

The buying portion was great. However, we have seen nothing but inconsistency from home to home, even the same model being built next to us isn’t done the same. Poor building quality

Selling experience was good. Building guidance throughout the process is was average. But the main reason I’m giving a 2 star rating on a respectable and reputable builder as Beazer is for the poor quality finish. We are happy for our beautiful home but extremely disappointed by the quality given in such a costly house.

The finish work on our home is terrible. During our final walk the home was practically pushed on us as the contractor said that we would find things overtime and he would address and fix them later. We have a list that keeps growing as we have found many mistakes made in the finish work. Bill has been great to work with and has assured us that he will get the items fixed. Thanks Bill!

Exciting process - very let down in the long run

I bought a beautiful model in a lovely Beazer neighborhood. Our sales experience was fantastic - everything upon inspection through the first 30 days has been a mess! Countless repairs required, broken (new) appliances, electrical issues all over the home, inconsistent follow up, weeks to complete repairs. It has been 45 days with several issues still not resolved. Shop your builder and get feedback on how they handle post move in issues!

Don’t get me wrong, the people I’ve dealt with associated with Beazer homes have been friendly, professional, and helpful with regard to the home buying process. However, upon purchasing the home, and after walkthroughs where we told that blemishes we observed would be fixed before we got the keys....didn’t get fixed before we got our keys. Since that time Beazer has outdone itself to ensure things we’ve noticed around the house are being fixed, but I feel that when you pay what these homes cost ($500k+) there shouldn’t be as many issues with a BRAND NEW build. wanted to paint garage floor prior to moving in. could not get the keys prior to moving in even though house was finished and absolutely nothing going on five days before moving in. i would have gladly signed a waiver in case something happened and we couldn't move in. just too much for you people to handle !
