My wife and I were visiting Florida and my sister-in-law was looking to purchase a home. She took us to the Beazer homes. We were pleased with the sales agent Chris who gave us a thorough tour and provided details of what made Beazer different from other builders, options in designing the homes. We were excited and decided to purchase a home. We recently moved in and this far we are pleased with the home.

Overall, very happy with our home and glad we purchased with beazer. However, days after closing we noticed quite a few items that need to be addressed and am still waiting for a call to be returned. Jeff and Angelo were very pleasant to work with.

Overall we were pleased with our home buying experience. There are just a couple things we wish would’ve been verbalized to us. The cabinets and countertop space outside of the pantry were apparently not included in the Indian Springs homes. However, these were shown in the model and I had to ask why those cabinets were not installed once the cabinets had been put in our home. This is now going to be an extra 2,000-2,500 expense for us when that was not planned in our budget prior. The space without cabinets isn’t really effective. The house purchase process was very good. We are a bit disappointed with the mud and dirt in the street that gets carried into the driveway. The construction area is not very well maintained.

Beazer homes were great from the time we spoke with the first person. Frank in Crandall, Tx was great. We closed on time and never had an issue with financing. Our builders listened to us, and made aure that everything was right at the wnd of the day.

The home had some cabinets which had loose doors. Some of the faucet knobs were also loose. The garage door was not completely painted on the inside.

We are first time home buyers and the idea of building was scary and stressful at first. From our Sales Agent to the Construction manager everyone was fantastic at communicating and making the process much easier. Builder is very professional and were a great help to me both during the purchasing process as well as towards the end at closing. I faced quite a number of issues with one of their preferred lenders that soured the experience but will say that the builder waas always great. I did have to be a bit persistent with getting small items fixed at the end of construction but that will be the case for any builder.

Good and not so good

For the most part, My experience was good. A few issues were (1) lack of design options (2) turnover in project managers although they were all very nice (3) the biggest complaint is getting my mail and the central mailbox situation. I’m still not getting my mail almost 60 days after closing. They are trying to save money installing central mail center instead of mailboxes at everyone’s home. I don’t live in an apartment community and we should have a mailbox in front of our home. Coordination with the post office has been a nightmare that still is ongoing.

Overall experience was great. The builder was very informative. The overall process from start to finish was done at a rapid pace which was great but it also resulted in overlooking some minor details in the house which were fixed later on. Beazer Homes also provided great support for closing the house.
