I bought a home from Beazer and it wasn’t a good experience. I consider myself a good customer and go with the flow. The few questions I had during constructions were ignored. My one request to replace a bad board where my tv was going to be mounted was ignored by the lead builder. Straight up ignored me when I asked about the board. And now that I have closed on the house Beazer won’t return my txt or calls. I think they blocked my number. I have been here couple months and still not receiving my mail. Terrible communication and terrible workmanship in to many areas. Bill was the most responsive out of the entire situation but the worker subcontracted to build this house suck! As a large loss adjusters I seen house rebuilt from a fire with less errors and better presentation. Vontell did better towards the end but lacks follow up. No one knows anything and the entire process just suck. Door handles falling off door trim not completed. Beazer reps selling the houses need to be more educated on the houses they’re selling. Customer service could have been a lot better. Not the house that was originally promised at signing.

The buying experience was ok. The post closing, not so much. Plenty of items from day one I am still addressing, such as wrong rail color, defective kitchen cabinets, scratched and not working appliances, and the biggest, which I do not accept BZH has no responsibility, is the lack of cable/wifi available on my block.

Lack of quality and dishonest

Your home will not even closely resemble the model in any way. Nothing is centered, paint is sloppy, caulking and grout is sloppy. Doors and transition strips (none between wood and carpet) poorly installed. Security doors don't close and latch correctly. The contractors leave their trash & mess everywhere. Poor design with no visitor parking (nobody mentioned that in the sales pitch!) It is not what I would expect from a premier, "trust" builder! Cheap. I will eventually have to replace almost everything in this cheaply built, poorly designed place! 2 stars just because I love the location ...

The quality of the workmanship is very poor. I wish I had done more research on Beazer before I bought my house, The quality of the workmanship on the doors, trim and windows is the equivalent of a cheap apartment build. My house is brand new but it looks like it is a couple of years old because of the poor quality of interior workmanship. I am actually embarrassed to have people come to see my new home.

As time is passing after closing in our home, the “We are here” even after we close is simply a lie. Just another transaction and its sad to know that its the same regardless of the builder. We have not received responses from our builder, area manager, the warranty person isnt helpful either. He pushes to always say it isnt covered, but did I really have to pull the warranty myself, screen shot, to show him it is? Now those issues are soon to be fixed. Once you close with trust no one turns up to complete walk through list nor any follow up...finishing of beazer homes is not good at all...thier manager changes and problem is faced by customer....all other pending work we are slowly doing out of our pocket....still have little trust if they finish the pending work of mine.

The day before putting down earnest money I was promised all these magical things- I would be helped for the first 30 days with any cosmetic issues and I would be helped if there was any warranty problems. This was my first time building a home and it wasn’t the experience I thought it would be. The builder blamed the long building process on the impact of coronavirus. (It was 6+ months when I was told it was a 3-4months process at escrow) I was very patient with the timing because I wanted my house to be done right. After being in the house for a few months, you really start to notice the really poor quality of workmanship that has gone into the build. I have already submitted a workorder for an electrical problem ( but of course Covid will be the reason it cannot be fixed anytime soon.). Every door frame had been busted and repaired poorly. I had to repair the rain shower head myself. There was a large paint run on the front door that was supposed to berepaired, but it was just sanded, not repainted. Houses are very well designed and great floor plans but can't say the same about the workmanship. Also be prepared to move into a home that still has things that need to be completed or repaired. At least that has been my experience.

Pay attention to detail, guidelines, and false promises. The builder will contact the buyer constantly trying to get good marks on an after-closing survey in order to advance in the company and/or receive a bonus. After the survey was submitted, the builder has yet to complete prior promises. Multiple complaints from this new development regarding backyard fencing parameters and guidelines, we have been told three different fence lines at different instances. Many good features with the house but also many deficiencies. Toilets had the bowl 14-1/2 inches off the floor which does not meet the ADA minimum limits. Like sitting on the floor. We had to replace the toilets. Salesman showed us the shower we were getting in the sample house. Well it was deficient and we had to replace the shower head system.
