The value of the home is amazing. Great choices and many standard options are considered upgrades with other builders. The process had its ups and downs. There were many moments where communication lacked as to delays during the build and what was to be expected. The workmanship disappoints a bit as it seems they rely to much on the warranty. A lot of small issues that add up that should have been caught before closing if they just slowed down and checked the work thoroughly. Even after the pre closing walk through where we pointed out issues, many of them were not corrected. Overall, happy with the home and the quality. Just slightly disappointed in how little pride seemed to be taken with the workmanship of the job. But would definitely recommend, due to value and how beautiful the homes are. ... Más

The overall experience was great. Follow up on issues found after the walkthrough and inspection was not the best. Compared to the other builders in the area, this would be my first choice.

The home was built in the time frame stated by the sales person and was kept abreast of its progress. I feel that issues with fixing items that need to be corrected after closing moved slower than normal. We paid extra for ceramic floor upgrade but floor was not protected during interior painting and has areas of paint smudge that are hard to clean. I feel that the workers need to be better supervised to take care of the minor details.

If your are putting in wood floors ensure there are no gaps and clean from scuffs during your walk through. Check all sheet rock work and caulking, we missed some need fixes upfront. You have a year for warranty work, you will probably miss things during your walk through due to the excitement of being in the community. However, it should be done right the first time.

I am happy with my new house, One thing I would like to mention here that the sales manager or construction manager should spend more time with the buyer to explain all items in the house to avoid extra costs to the buyer in case if the buyer wants to modify or change something in the house after closing...Many buyers are not professional in house construction and design. Please address this poin to the associated team

No los construyen como solían hacerlo. Todo es cierto en este momento de la historia. Como relojero y joyero tengo una pasión por la artesanía. Creo que Bloomfield construye un producto bastante bueno considerando todos los aspectos. Mi familia y yo estamos muy contentos con nuestro nuevo hogar y esperamos que tú también lo estés. Mejor calidad, ajuste y acabado en comparación con otros constructores locales. Price was high by the time the house was built. They added a higher shower for my tall son. Did not repair concrete that they pointed out in our walk through.

Have had several issues since moved into home. Bath tube crack has not been resolved in master suite, Sheetrock under sink in bathroom has not been resolve, cabinets drawers in the island do not close properly, beeping of smoke detector for several days has not been resolve even after we changed the batteries several times. Slow responses of issue we have had in the past some have taken weeks to resolve and others no resolution. The issues we have had in the home that were resolve have taken time to correct.

We still waiting for repairs issues. One bathroom don’t have a mirror, and the material on the cabinets is to bad and cheap!

The overall experience was good. Bill eas great to work with. On the other hand, Matt was unprofessional and could not be trusted to respond as requested or not at all. He failed to communicate or address issues that were presented.

I need for Bloomfield homes to take responsibility for my roof leaking. The roofer doesn’t seem to know if it is fixed or not. The insulation is mildewing in the walls and attic. If my family gets sick, everyone will know about Bloomfield Homes.

Before my house were build I have high expectations from Bloomfield, but when pandemic hit oh-boy it changes everything!!! Since it’s my first time to build a house, every weeks I decided to went up to my house and check how is the progress were handle. 1) House frame: (Attic)they’re using wood that it should be in a trash! There is no way these kind of wood can nailed into house frames in attic and pass the inspection!!!lol 2) Sheetrock cutting were unprofessional special at the corner! The gap was opened and never filled up. 3) Started from down stair go up to Attic. Plywoods only applying around area where AC/Hot-Water tank. The rest are applying cheap flat wood unsafely to walk any further on attic. 4) Inside Garage doors: there is a gap between foundation concrete and Sheetrock it was never shield up or cover up, by leaving that way ants, bugs, and roach can get in! 5)During first walk apply green and blue types that just for fun because they will not fix all the types you put up there! 6) Warranty: after submitting its take so long for builder to followed up, after follow up with builder still follow up people who’s coming out to fix. This is something very unprofessional I have to deals with! And here I thought brand name builder will keep it professionalism as their brand name are but I guess not! ... Más

Workmanship was just poor . We did a initial walk through with the house not complete . The building foreman knew that the was not ready, but continued on with the walk through anyway. Yes he did say if we were not happy we can postpone the walk through the out the whole walk through. He knew there was a lot that needed to be done and fixed but was only going to fix the things we asked and saw, so if there were things that we didn’t catch and he knew of or saw he wasn’t gonna mark them down . We had a window that was missing for a couple of months and when we brought it up to their attention that we could possibly have water damage from rain they said the window was stolen and it don’t rain from when we informed them “probably a couple days”. But the window was missing for over a month . And we had some good rain within that month .driveway has a big crack but we were told it doesn’t hurt anything it’s just cosmetic. I think if I’m gonna pay over 350 k for a new house we should get a house that looks new . Rocks were left all over the yard sod just layer on top , when u cut grass one day a rock went flying and could’ve cracked a window . Paint and supplies were left in the house and I had to drive to drop off and dispose of them Beer cans and urine left in our bathrooms during the build . Some of our walls are starting to separate. I’m just wondering on how to word it to the warranty department, cause when I did call they try to make it like we don’t know what we’re taking about . We heard good things about Bloomfield that’s why we gave them a chance . I’m pretty sure the builders worked hard , but the workmanship and quality is not there . We understand that the house will settle and little cosmetic things will arise . But the blatant overlooking of good workmanship and waiting for us customers to find the things that are wrong and point them out to the builder is not acceptable. ... Más

There were a few hiccups throughout the home buying and build of our home. They were taken care of eventually, but after moving in we discovered the rushed low quality workmanship that went into repairs and all around build of our home. Window height is not consistent and not sealed fully. Overspray of paint and stain in front and back porch. It is evident that a “good enough, hurry and get it done” mentality was used in building our home.

My wife and I purchased a Bloomfield home in Melissa, TX. The experience from the sales office to the design appointment was wonderful. Once we broke ground and began construction is when we started seeing things. Specifically, during construction, there was one area that was not framed correctly according to the blueprints. We mentioned this as soon as we noticed it in October of 2020 to our project manager Sam. He said this will get corrected at a later time. Weeks go by, and no resolution. Finally, they do a little work around, but it still looks terrible. We closed on the house in March of 2021. After countless texts and calls to Sam and corporate, we finally got them to reframe the area. This would’ve been an extremely easy fix if it was addressed initially in October. We were told by Sam that the architects don’t think about the people in the field when drawing plans. He said each framing crew puts their own “touch” on the plan. Great home, just issues found prior to closing still not being addressed.

Love the layout of the house. as I am the lady of the house. I wish guest beth room cabinet should have least some drawers and Shelves. little thinks to make more useful for dally leaving easier. even it cost more people will love .and pay.

Our builder Chris is the only bright spot for me. He is responsive and does what he can when there are issues. The dishwasher has not worked for close to a month now. The garage door broke and the company “TBS garage” is a farce. Initially left a message on their 24 hr emergency line and never got a response. I called again after the whole power outtage/water ordeal and person said that their system is down so they can’t schedule me for service and that they will call me back. Needless to say they never did call back. Feels like the product looks great on surface but filled with crap underneath. So based on experience and the service of the contractees and can safely say that the only one not cutting corner is the builder and everyone else contracted is only there because they are the cheapest. I would love to have all of my new home buyer issues addressed before my one year timeframe lapses. I love my home but when lights don’t work, doors won’t stay closed and alarm system malfunctions with poor customer service response I cannot leave a positive response. Would like for this not to be my case. Please help!!

Inferior cabinets poor design with age may have major problems. Inferior dishwasher. House built on sloop which makes it difficult to use side yard access. There are two gates one on each side of house, but the air conditioning unit one one side of house prevents access to yard. Some electrical outlets placed wrong in bedrooms. Master bed room tub too small for a tall person. don't understand why they install base boards and door casings before floors. Then they put a lot of caulk under base boards. That look dosent look professional and unfinished. Why not put the floors down first then base boards and no caulk. I wouldn't mind working for them I would do my best to get these changes fixed right on each build. No problem at all with sales he was top notch and knew his product. Professionel all the time. ...
