This is a good development for first time buyers.

seems like an average budget home. fence will need to be replaced and painting done. in 3 years I will need to make some financial investment to upgrade the limited quality of materials used.

We had a good experience.

Too many details issues with finishing

I was surprised and very disappointed to find that ceiling fans and a garage door opener were not standard for my home. I’ve never heard of a new home build that does it include a garage door system. Such an easy thing to complete.

Windows, garage door, yard, just the overall experience that i went through to buy the house left a sour taste in my mouth and even the realtor would choose the same. I wouldnt do it again

I would say the house was not done with the best quality. There have been things that have been repaired since the move in. Sloppy work at times.

The first time we where checking the house right off the gate they promised things and we had to fight to get the things that were promised, There's horrible communication with the company and us. We were supposed to move into the home back in June and ended up moving in almost 2 months after. Overall the communication is horrible and the worst I've seen trying to buy a home. There's still a bunch of issues with the house that again we were promised to be fixed and yet nothing has been done. The grass outside has so many faults its hard to even count. First of all the grass isn't placed correctly. There's plenty of patches where the ground isn't covered and its not leveled. There's still left over construction marks on the street in front of us that was never cleaned up properly. There was plenty of weeks with zero communication between the homeowners association and us. Before and during closed I felt rushed and even threaten at one point. I was definitely in a rush to purchase a home and would recommend to anyone looking to purchase with centex to check check and check again. That goes for paperwork, construction, and craftsmanship in the home

The quality and workmanship were FAR below what we expected. All of our issues were addressed promptly though. We love our house and the neighborhood

We did a across country move and couldn’t go to all of the walk throughs because of COVID. They missed certain crucial things like a toilet paper holder that was missing from on of the bathrooms, exterior lights that still aren’t working! Besides other small things!

I decided to purchase my home with Centex based on their solid reputation. From the beginning, they assure you of the high quality materials and workmanship. Throughout the construction process, I encountered numerous issues with the build of the home. Prior to closing, I went through the entire home and requested for several things to be fixed. Now almost two months after having closed on the home, I am still finding a lot of errors in the construction of the home. I have found unfinished caulking, damage to walls, and errors with lighting fixtures/installation. Late in the construction process, it was confirmed that Centex doesn’t hire the best to build the best. They simply contract out the lowest bidder and their construction supervisors ensure that it’s built as good as possible. Prior to closing, I even had to hire a third party inspector who found even more problems and then we had to have City/County inspectors come back out to the home. Bottom line, I will not be buying another Centex/Pulte home I’m the future and have not been recommending this company further. ... Más

The trades and people who physically worked on the house was very poor quality and needed to be redone multiple times throughout the whole build process. The land scape was very poor to the point where most of it need to be redone and paid for by the home owner (myself). That includes uneven bed lines around mulched areas, the dirt that was used to level and grade the yard was extremely poor quality (rocks all throughout yard) and uneven when grass was laid making mowing and yard work very difficult. This was the same impression throughout the neighborhood, also the sprinkler system was done terribly (whoever did it shouldn’t be doing sprinkler systems period). My build manager did the best job he could with what he had and this review should not negatively impact him. ... Más

We were very happy with the people involved with our house except the painters and finishers. We went back and forth for over a month and didn't move in due to issues with the drywall and paint. It finally came to a point where we just let it go.. still sticky doors and dings in the walls.

Though I acknowledge Pulte is still trying to solve open issues, the fact of the matter is that I found too many issues with Centex not only before and during closing but afterwards. Some of them related to internal communications in Centex and third parties/design center and some others related to construction, management and final execution. Field manager was suddenly changed and things improved after that but still important issues were found and still I am struggling to have them closed. Centex did not even accept to delay closing and while I accepted the proposed closing date, the house was not finished and right now I am working with the warranty team. ... Más

Overall quality is slightly better than average. Highly disappointed in the cabinets in the kitchen. You can’t place anything of any weight significance on the upper shelves without the shelf bowing. I’ve had to place my own braces under these to compensate.

This is the first month the property has been in use , and already the lights ion the front room and in front of the house have failed to come on. They came to fix it pronto but its a new home , should the hole front of the house loose power, and the breaker never tripped. Scary !!!

I’ve lived here for a month and my ice maker doesn’t work, and the toilet paper holder in the half bath has already become unhinged from the wall. Other than that everything else is average.

Cheap light fixtures and plumbing fixtures. No top grade placed before laying a poor quality bermuda grass on the yard. Developer (Pulte/Centex) doesn't take care of it's designated land (sidewalks, berms, drainage area). No homeowner representation on HOA.

La casa es hermosa y la conseguimos por un precio excelente, pero hay algunas cosas con las que tengo problemas. Algunas de las paredes están torcidas. Nos habían dicho que obtendríamos un kit de pintura cuando cerráramos para retocar pequeñas imperfecciones, pero una vez más, día tras día, nos decepcionamos. La parte final de la casa era muy suave. No hay problemas allí.

Son casas preciosas, pero se nota con bastante facilidad la artesanía barata. Más importante aún, el proceso de construcción es una locura y sus trabajadores no son realmente útiles para mostrarle las opciones que tiene. El constructor con el que trabajamos fue la única experiencia positiva de centex.

Centex podría haber colocado más postes en las paredes interiores para hacerlas más resistentes, y pensar un poco en dónde colocarlos en los baños. Los trabajadores necesitan limpiar mejor, ya que todavía estoy limpiando los trozos de lechada y el esmalte de las baldosas. Las actualizaciones no son lo que esperaba
