Nothing but lies and wrong information. Very poor workmanship that even the sub-contractors that were hired by Pulte and were told to come and fix all the issues we encountered said that "Pulte has gotten a very bad reputation for delivering very poor products, they cut corners, use very cheap materials, hire just about anyone to do as much as possible and move on to the next victim." "Bottom line (money and huge profits) is the goal for them." Next, what I just shared is not the exact words that were used by the contractors but close enough to get the point across. We have lost so much hard earned money from our savings because of Pulte. It's been 2 months since we have moved in, and there are still other serious issues that need fixing, namely, 80% of the kitchen cabinets (supposedly brand new) need to be replaced because they are either damaged or warped. It's nothing but a nightmare. This home was not free so that we would say...well it's free, so we got an excellent deal. We are paying mortgage on this home. How these executives at Pulte sleep at night is clear evidence that they don't get down and dirty to make sure that everything that is done is with high standards, they just simply don't care. It's all about the money, and how many fancy and luxurious stuff they can accumulate. Clear case of lack of morals. You can't take it with you, and as far as I'm concerned, and those who are in the same shoes as my wife and I are in, you people at Pulte left a very bad taste in our mouths. These folks have a great salesperson without a fulfillment team to back them up. The field manager is unresponsive, inept, and is frankly over his head.

I would rather not share anything. My experience was terrible. Along with many other buyers as they have expressed the same experience to me.

As a first time home buyers we are ecstatic to be building our home. At first the process started off smooth. Then we ran into issues with certain contractors which we tried to be understanding of. Then when we would bring said issues to our field managers attention it was always an excuse if that was supposed to be done and this was supposed to be done but no explanation as to how it will in fact get done. The day of our celebration walk our home was filthy, carpet was a disaster and like I told the field manager if I wanted a used home I would’ve bought one. We have been in our home almost two months and still have work that need to be completed. It’s like they put their best face forward to get us to buy but as soon as you’re in the home you’re forgotten. For the cost of what we spent the workmanship doesn’t add up. We have electrical issues. Cabinets that need to be changed, window that need to be changed. Paint still on our LVT floors. We plan on selling as soon as we are able to and going with a custom builder. This company has left a sour taste in our mouth 10/10 would not recommend!! ... Más

When we finally closed on the third try because we had to get out of our home under contract, it was a nightmare and has been since. There are too many issues, photos and videos to count. We are still living out of boxes over a month later. We should have come in and started hanging curtains and enjoying our brand new home. There is nothing happy or beautiful about this experience and I think someone should compensate us for it.

I’m not sure that I have enough space to truly voice my disappointment for this whole process; both sales and building. I wouldn’t recommend this team of builders, nor the mortgage company they offer, during the buying process. At the end of the day, I didn’t feel like a valued home owner. I was met with arrogance, ignorance, miscommunication, lack of respect. But I’m home, I guess.

Overall experience was and still is under satisfactory. From the loan side, construction side, and the products. We still having to fix the issues and we just moved in on August 29th. My home was not done properly that our thrust and frames were off and it needed to get redone. Plus cracks on the concrete, paints peeling off, cabinets peeling off. I can go on and on. Y'all are trying to correct everything that is wrong to this day. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated with your company. I will never ever recommend you all to anyone. I have pictures and videos to prove how my home is unsafe, but y'all closed us anyway. We didn't find out any of this after we we're all moved in. Someone needs to give me a call, because I am beyond livid. Granted that the warranty people are trying to do the best they can. However, we shouldn't even be in this position to begin with. ... Más

They installed the incorrect HVAC system on my new home and refuse to resolve the issue. My energy bill has doubled and water drips inside the closet onto the flooring. I've had to file complaints with TDLR, and the Better Business Bureau. Stay away from this builder as they will not admit to any mistakes. This has made the whole experience with CENTEX a very bad one and I would never use this builder again and I highly recommend you stay away from this builder.

This was an awful experience and would not recommend Centex.

I purchased my first house as I wanted satisfaction and not to have to worry about anything . my closing date was in mid July. and only thing I found is problem in house . Poor workmanship Flooring is coming out in office and kitchen. water leaking in basement . in front yard they have digged up and I am still waiting for new grass seeds after 40 days not happy . I would not recommend

Our overall new home build experience has not been a good one with Centex/Pulte. I want to start off with the fact that key contacts for us changed during the build process. First our Sales Consultant changed halfway through the build and then our construction manager changed. Overall, we did not have a problem with Lisa on the sales side but when Ana was our Agent she put the primary cell phone number for us incorrectly, so throughout the entire process our build, the building managers, mortgage company, title company, and whoever else had our number wrong which delayed multiple things. It was very frustrating. The construction side is another story. We started out with Javi who was excellent. Javi was transparent about the house, he was great at communicating, was realistic about everything, most even most importantly, Javi took our conversations serious and remembered things we spoke about and would actually address them after we would speak. If things were delayed he was honest and gave us real expectations, something we absolutely appreciated and the only thing we could ask for during this process. We never had that type of service since he was moved off our house. Halfway through our build, our construction manager changed to Zach. For starters- THIS SHOULD NEVER OCCUR. This is the point that our major issues began to arise. At first things were going okay with Zach, he was keeping us updated for the most part with the house. I was coming to the house every week and seeing how it was going and then I would get with Zach on what issues we were concerned about. It seemed like they were being addressed. Around the time the walls started coming up and when the cabinets came in, things changed. On multiple occasions my wife and I would meet or speak with Zach, go over multiple issues, and he would assure us that it would be addressed and would say “I will have my best guys fix it” yet they would not be addressed weeks later. This occurred with countless issues with the house. Zach rarely documented anything during our walk throughs and would maybe address 1 out of 10 problems every time we would speak and we would have to remind him again over and over on issues with the house. About a month before our projected closing date of June 24th, a major leak occurred in the ceiling of the kitchen. This flooded the first floor of the house and damaged multiple walls, kitchen cabinets, the guest room, pantry, and storage closet. We came to the house after Zach contacted us and he let us know they would be taking care of it immediately and we should still be good for a closing date of June 24th. We let him know it is very important that we know asap if our closing date is changing because we had to let our current landlords know if we are needing to resign our lease for July. We would’ve been happy to do this if he would’ve given us this expectation and realistic and honest answer, but Zach assured us the home would be completed in June and by the 24th, so we advised our landlord that we didn’t need to rent for July. We came by the house every week and for 3 weeks there were stagnant water. We called to ask what was being done and by week 3 were concerned about mold because the water was STILL there. They worked on the leak, remove the damaged walls after 3 weeks from the flood occurring. We show up at the house after week 2 of the flood and there was finally a machine but the tube sucking up the water was just on the floor in the downstairs bathroom and the water from the kitchen and guest room now flooded the bathroom and was leaking into the garage. I asked Zach what is going on and he said they had left the windows open over the weekend to let it dry, but it had been raining for over 2 weeks in Boerne, so everything got wet again. In addition to this, the machine was now leaking water on the floor instead of draining in the bathtub. All of their hard work removing walls and drying the house and the house was flooded all over again due to their negligence and NO ONE CHECKING ON THE HOUSE TO ENSURE THINGS WERE GOING PROPERLY WITH THE TRADESMAN. With less than 1 week to close and being guaranteed by Zach that they we would still close in time, our house was not prioritized at all and we felt lied to and very disrespected during these last 2 months of the process. During the final walk through before closed, Zach took pictures of all the issues left on the house on the Friday before we closed. He kept forgetting our closing date and we had to remind him at least 6 times because he would repeat it back incorrectly. He stated they would be working on everything over the weekend(this was something he had been promising us for weeks, that he and his crew would be working weekends to ensure our house would catch up and close on time) since we were closing the following business day, Monday 6/28. Nothing was done over that weekend. In addition, Zach advised us that he had dropped his phone in the river over the weekend tubing with his family and lost the pictures from our final walk through. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful at such a crucial time in the process of us having to close and move in the very next day with countless items still needing to be done with the house. This is the point that I wrote the sales team and had them give me Peters information because I no longer trusted that our house would be completed after we closed. We were given 2 days to move out of our rental house and move into a house that still wasn’t finished. Weeks after close and we still had people coming in and out to fix things. The garage was installed incorrectly and crashed down on the ground when it was rising, incredibly dangerous and upsetting. Where are we today? We closed around 2 months ago and our house is still not finished. Involving Peter did not prioritize our home. I have a back door that was replaced finally but still needs to be painted. The total project from start to finish was a complete nightmare. I still have things that need to be addressed/fixed The quality of the carpet and the faux floor is not made of quality material. The concrete is pealing in the garage and around the front door. The ceiling in kitchen and the great room has two large patches where product was over sprayed. The trim in the kitchen are not flushed. The kitchen exit door has dents and the window has a scratch in the glass. One of the worse made homes I have ever lived in.

House flooded and had water damage after a worker nailed a water line. Nobody told me. If I hadn't went to the house and saw it, I never would have known. I had to demand a mold test be done. Of course, they found mold and didn't tell me that either. I found out when I saw a moldy baseboard laying on the kitchen countertop under a vent. I wouldn't recommend centex to my worst enemy. They hire horrible contactors and they cheap out on any and everything they can. I moved into a brand new house that has paint all over the floors throughout the house, paint and mud stains on the carpet, holes in the wall where they moved the handrail for the stairs and just left the old holes, sod that was just dropped on top of dirt, no soil brought in, damaged roof shingles, crooked baseboards, and a damaged garage door. I will never buy another Centex Home. A month without air conditioning is completely unacceptable. 90+ degree days. I have a baby. A MONTH. Do you have any idea how many times I heard, "we'll be back out tomorrow." I had chipped granite countertops that I had to keep bringing up. After cutting into my walls, they patched the drywall and STILL haven't finished painting. One might be inclined to think I'm just an outlier or just a complainer, however, if one were to come talk to people in the neighborhood, they would find them all in agreement. The house was rushed to closed by the builder even it was not completed. The third-party inspector told me not to buy this house as he was so worried about the build quality. When we move in the house so many incomplete items need to be fixed, we have to take time off work to stay and wait for their independent contractor schedule to fix those that should have been finished before hand.

This was my fourth new construction home with four different builders and by far the worst experience ever. All complaints are for the construction part of things. Title and sales were great!

They don’t care about you!!! Just your money!!!!!

I have submitted a work order and no ome has gotten back at me. I also emailed and called the warranty representative Elainee Moreno and she doesn't get back at me either.

I would never recommend Pultey/Centex to anyone! This has been the worst experience ever! Because they rushed my build so that they could move on to the next and collect a check, a low-quality product was delivered. Who installs contact paper on the floor. There are numerous build quality issues today. No lawn or driveway when I closed. This is a risk to my interior belongings with tracking of dirt ect. Waste backed up from a pipe in the basement. There are other issues, but I don't have time to list. They are awful and are not customer-centric. Home buyers should have more rights. The buyer's only recourse is escrow, which is not sufficient. ... Más

Lived in the home less than 1 month and had roof leak from rain. Power breaker problems. Breaker was fixed 2 times and leak never fixed it’s been over 10 days! Horrible customer service and building manager is not responsive to issues. Thinking of taking legal action at this point!!!!!

I wish I could say my experience was great but it wasn't. I purchased the model home so my home was only able to get minor repairs done to it, which I wasnt informed of until i did my first walk through. Some repairs were made but i found many more flaws once everything was said & done. I asked to purchase the furniture & it ended up being sent to consignment because the person I dealt with didn't know the process. I spent way more on this home than the brand new homes around me, definitely got taken since this was my first home & unfortunately my realtor wasn't much help either. Overall I'm making the best of a terrible experience with Centex & Wells Fargo which also was terrible to work with & their preferred lender. Live & learn. ... Más

If you’re looking to build a home the experience can be fun and enjoyable just not with this particular builder centex/Pulte from What I experienced I certainly wouldn’t recommend it. Everything from the lending to the building was horrific what they produce is not quality work with integrity.

I have issues but they no fix They say not on warranty cover, the wall get wet from bathtub

I’m still dealing with repairs and things that were not done properly in the home. Model homes are beautiful but they will not make your home with the same attention to detail. Worst decision ever to build with Centex. I’ve been in this home for 2 months and have had someone go every week to repair something all because material and workmanship is low quality. They took our excitement away.
