The builder seems very knowledgeable, however, isn’t the best at following up nor communicating. I’ve expressed this on NUMEROUS encounters, however, no change. This type of frustration will prevent me from recommending this builder to anyone else.

After you are in you are on your own. Tried to get something repaired within the 30 days and was responded to after the 30 days

Pretty much everything in the house has an issue. The flooring, the AC, the front porch, the sprinkler, the garage door... I'm tired of asking them to come to fix these issues. For the price we paid, for the pain the mortgage company was; there should have been none!

I have purchased this property on 02/24. Since then I have reported 4 different issues. Ongoing issue with breaker circuit causing the AC to go off and home gets warm. Someone came and replaced the breaker but issue is still happening. Replaced microwave, dryer didn't work due to a cable /set up. There are some serious issues with my drainage in the master bathroom and it smells bad. Not happy with my "Dream Home Purchase". Too many issues too soon

Home had several issues and a final quality inspection not done properly. I’m currently dealing with several defaults that need to be fixed. Company being responsive but could have been avoided if more quality was set in place instead of speed to finalize a project.

Everything was great until the last week of the home being finished, a lot of unfinished areas and not inspected properly. Will never buy Pulte/Centex again, will be selling in the next 2 yrs or so.

Overall I was rushed to see the house. I went by a few times on my own to see the discrepancies that caught my eye to see how the issue was being addressed. I find a few holes around, the staircase only has gloss on the entrance and the railing going up doesn’t look touched. The wood actually looks faded. The front door and back doors do not close properly. So overall I would say yes it looks beautiful at first glance but I would advise anyone to spend a while really looking at the details. Open and close the door yourselves so you can really see if they work properly.

We thought it was going to be great experience buying our first home. Boy were we wrong. The roof structure had many boards that needed reinforcement as well as a hole in the roof barrier. Initial inspection passed until we had our own inspector come through and point out many issues. Builders urinated in our new bath tubs with no running water. A port-a-toilet was literally outside next to our house. Electrical fixtures were crooked throughout and had to be straightened. Front porch post is not at a right angle/squared to the house. Other homes companies do every thing right like before the closing I found too much issues in the paint and in the kitchen too

Builder focuses on speed over quality. Many lines were not straight, screw not drilled in all the way, misalignments on cabinets, paint overspray.

Make sure you keep an eye on them

The sales process was easy, but the construction team not so good. Im still finding things wrong with the house. I've been in the house for 2 months and still don't have some of the original issues fixed. Construction team is unresponsive now.

I have the biggest case of buyers remorse. Plastic faucets on a 245k house? Lawn is full of weeds. Builder does not respond in a timely manner. Cheap fixtures make me so sad. I had a history maker home that was much better quality and the builder was top notch. I am beyond sad about my home but feel stuck with it.

I’ve had some good experiences and terrible with this company building my new home. I had my original sales guy not keep me informed on flooring changes but Trent took over and he did great. He explained things and really seamed to care. Devon the building manager was great at first but as soon as I signed my closing. He would say he would fix things that weren’t finished by closing and it would take him forever. I am still waiting on a shower rod for my guest room that was bent and dented since before my blue tape walk through still haven’t gotten it.

The home is well made, but when it comes to the surrounding they rushed and did not do a complete job. There are many places where they rushed to get the home done. Also the outstide water draining systems are not to par.

Centex/Pulte Warranty department employees need a better understanding of their work ethics. We were instructed if there are any issues needing to be corrected call the warranty department. First there’s no human contact by phone to address the issues. Everything is to be listed by photo and described then emailed to the Warranty Dept. I did that for a few items that need to be corrected. I was then sent an email which I found to be very condensing advising me to wait 45 days so they could be corrected. Well I have a huge security issue with our back glass sliding door. The builder contractor ABS sent out 2 individuals on different occasions to correct the issues and both stated the issue isn’t the glass door( which doesn’t lock) the issue is with the Glass Door Frame! It’s been nearly 2 months since we’ve moved in and still the glass sliding door issue remains to be corrected. Does a person need to wait 45 days for their house to be secure. I’ve had to obtain a security system to protect my family. And BTW the list has grown for the 45 day repair. Not too happy for the amount we paid for the house. Warranty Dept needs better communication than doing things by email. Phone calls are a huge social distant approach. Workers should take pride in their tasks. ... Más

Everything was smooth till after I did your survey and now it’s like pulling teeth . Still have things that need to be done that we’re addressed before closing and were never done . “Fixed”

Our experience with Centex was not a great one. A lot of options weren't available and we went through several different build managers. We were shown a model home and there were a lot of features in the model home and were not told that those feature would not be in our home. The main issues we had was with their in house underwriting department with a lot of communication errors.

Tuve muchos problemas, desde que las paredes estaban torcidas hasta que no se cumplieron los plazos para que se arreglara la lista final de cosas. El comprador debe asegurarse de que todo esté terminado antes de cerrar.

Tuve que poner un boleto en 4x en un mes (2) tkts se debieron a que mi planta baja no se calentaba. He tenido a la compañía de aire acondicionado / calefacción dos veces, la primera cerró las rejillas de ventilación en mi segundo piso e hice una verificación del equilibrio del aire y aún así no ayudó. La segunda vez que salieron, abrieron las rejillas de ventilación de arriba y me dijeron que hiciera funcionar el ventilador mientras el calentador funcionaba, todavía no había gran cambio en la forma en que se siente mi piso de abajo. Ahora creo que estoy empezando a ver una mancha en el techo del baño de arriba que podría ser una gotera. También tuve un problema de riego en el costado de mi casa cuando me mudé. Me dijeron que esto se arreglará y que sí salieron y reemplazaron el césped. El costado de mi casa todavía está "embarrado" y no puedo caminar hasta el patio trasero sin destrozar otro par de zapatos. Suelos chirriantes arriba.

Tuve que hacer 3 caminatas finales a través de esta casa adosada. La primera vez que había una fuga en la pared de la sala de estar, tenían la pared destrozada por la puerta corrediza cuando llegué. El segundo paseo por allí había un lugar húmedo en la pared donde estaba la fuga original. Yo fui la persona que señaló que la pared seguía goteando. Me dijeron que tendrían que investigar la fuga en la pared una vez más. Cuando vine para el tercer paseo, el problema (acoplamiento oxidado que tenía fugas) se había resuelto. La alfombra del dormitorio principal en mi primer paseo no estaba debidamente asegurada en la entrada del baño. El problema de la alfombra también se señaló en mi primer recorrido. Este proceso retrasó mi firma de esta propiedad hasta noviembre, lo que costó más dinero de mi parte. ... Más
