Our point of contact was horrible and the building process was very slow. Really disappointing when other homes that started after ours, were completed before. Our closing date was moved almost 1.5 months.

Lack of sense of urgency and detail

The way the builder interpreted Centex and Pulte is somewhat misleading. There was a reference to Centex whenever a question of standard and quality comes. Though Pulte acquired Centex, the builder take pride in being a Pulte owned, the quality of construction and handling of issues is not upto the mark. My friends who constructed through Pulte had a better buying experience and warranty claims. We somehow felt that the Centex tag on them became a reason for skipping many items on the build quality.

The backyard is so soggy and it retains water due to which I have complained to the warranty team however they are not taking responsibility. It not even been month since I have moved in.

My home was not completed when we closed, it has been over a month and a half that we closed and still no one has come to my home to paint over 40 drywall patches and tags that had to be corrected after closing. For them to come complete the tags around our house it took them one month after closing. I really wanted to love my experience with Centex/Pulte but I am completely disappointed by the work and lack of interest that was put into this home.

Overall buying experience was poor. The house was not complete at closing. I drove to the house after closing only to see painters inside doing repairs that should've already been completed. It took over a month after closing to get the correct appliances delivered. The driveway surface was damaged from ice during construction and still has not been addresed almost 2 months after closing. It is a nice house, but due to the overall buying and closing experience, I would not recommend Pulte.

Quality of workmanship is not there. Doesn’t seem like any quality control is in place (I.e. step by step inspections, etc). Lack of communication during closing process and being told less than 24 hours before closing that it wouldn’t be ready for another week or two. Left us having to scramble to make living arrangements since we had already sold our other home two days prior. Once we moved in, there immediately was a leak in the home due to plumber not tightening the master shower drain all the way during construction. This led to holes having to be cut in the kitchen ceiling. They initially just patched the holes and it was very obvious so I had to push for the entire downstairs to be retextured/painted. Had to have AirTron come out because they stripped an air vent when doing that. Still waiting for them to come out and fix issues with the texturing. Garage door was extremely crooked making it very difficult to lock or even open. Was told that it couldn’t be fixed by the worker sent by the construction team, however, I had a contractor come out to install a garage door opener and he realigned the entire door to make it function properly. The support beam underneath the master counter is broken but I have to call the warranty line to have that fixed. The back patio is extremely unleveled and there is a large dip in the middle of it. My concrete wall need to be fixed but know one shows up, I’m telling them to fixed it and the ceiling paint is bad, my. Backyard is all being crack. I have referred my friends to centex but I’m really upset with the builder. I’m not going to refer my friends and family to this builder .

We have only lived in this house 1 month and the ac has already leaked into the ceiling causing drywall damage and mold. The AC was wired wrong and ran 24/7 for a month causing the ac unit to leak and our electricity bill to triple in cost. There was also things promised at closing that never got fixed and the vent in the roof was not sealed causing rain to leak into our attic. We have not had a great experience and would not buy a home from this company again.

The house wasn't done when we went to closing. centex assured us that they were going to everything done as we moved in, but it been 2 months now since we moved and the house is still uncompleted. We're thinking of bringing this issue to court.

During the build process, I did not think it would be as rough as it was. Going through four field managers was not necessary. Having to update them weekly on issues, keep repeating issues each week. The lack of responsiveness to issues was unbelievable. If client points out a problem, I would think it would be fixed at that stage and not months later. Or just let slip by as if it was never brought up. Also trades not caring about other trades work, which is normal but it was prominent. I was not able to receive a straight answer from multiple people. Each person would give me a different answer every time. There was a large lack of communication between the Dallas Office and Colorado Office. Not all of it was bad, the salesman Don was great to work with. He was friendly, straight forward with everything and overall easy to work with. Another person out of Dallas office was able to provide me more information that was helpful than the people actually on my house. The house is done and I have lived in it over a month. Communication has been faulty from the beginning. I moved in June 2020 and was told that a 30 day walkthrough and 11 month walkthrough would happen to fix issues, but the 30 day was and will not be done per the warranty dept. Low tier Whirlpool appliances specifically came as an incentive, but were not installed properly. For 1.5 months, despite numerous requests, no one came to attach the missing ventilation tube to the clothes dryer, indicating this was not an emergency. Finally, we were frustrated enough that we fixed it on our own dime. Not being able to safely and cleanly use a clothes dryer after move in is not an emergency? Additionally, any service personnel that came to the house had no idea what they were there to service; the plumber came 3 times because his team didn't review the prior visits and came unprepared all over again. The warranty dept has not proven it communicates at all with contractors. The most blaring issue is the lack of craftsmanship on this house with obvious hastily completed work. The amount of holes, cracks, bad or missing painting, and misaligned blinds and cabinets, and frayed carpet edges cut too short is innumerable. Additionally, the base and floor boards were poorly cut and installed and separated from the floor very shortly after move in causing ants to march in throughout kitchen and living room for days. This will be left unaddressed again and I was told by the warranty dept to pay a contractor to get it fixed even though the structural warranty should be applied. The blue tape I placed and photographes in most places in the final walkthrough before close was plainly removed without remediation. These issues still exist and are getting worse. The housing development is also not kept clean in public areas even though we are paying HOA dues. I will be unlikely to deal with this builder again. ... Más

Homes are slapped together workers not double checking their work. Warranty take forever to get somebody out there. My front door was not installed correctly. Had to hire my own guy because 84 Iumber is worthless. I have 2 cracked windows. Still waiting for that.

I found some imperfections on my home and I told to the construction management but the issues aren’t fixed yet

the whole inside of the house is painted the same color. all the walls and trim work? water company charged us for 19000 gallons of water used, we were not living there yet and still as this date haven't?

Extremely poor communication, already found problems in the home within the first month.

La casa La casa en sí es una gran construcción y nos encanta nuestra casa. Hubo muchos problemas que no se resolvieron hasta después del cierre, pero varios (alfombra manchada, bañeras rayadas, falta de gabinete de cocina) se resolvieron rápidamente. Estas casas están construidas con los requisitos mínimos. Por el dinero gastado, al menos esperaría tener un techo arquitectónico. curioso por ver cuánto tiempo dura el single de tres pestañas en el país bajo ... ¡También! asegúrese de ir detrás de ellos en cada paso del camino. las personas que trabajan para los contratistas que construyen las casas tienen poca experiencia y no les importa la calidad de su trabajo. ¡Consiga un inspector!

No es confiable y de calidad También cuando se llamó a reparación antes del cierre y después del cierre hasta ahora nadie vino y lo arregló todavía Cuando dije que cambiara la fecha de cierre ya que todo no estaba terminado, me dijeron que tenía que cerrar la casa de lo contrario, tendrá que pagar un cargo diario.

Falta de mano de obra y muy descuidada. No me impresionó en absoluto.

Honestamente, no hemos tenido más que problemas, lamentablemente desde que nos mudamos. Líneas de alcantarillado rotas. Tan mal que tuvimos que llamar a la línea de emergencia el DÍA de Navidad cuando toda la casa perdió el uso del alcantarillado. No es divertido con toneladas de invitados. Tuvimos que tener un electricista dentro de las primeras dos semanas también por un problema con la iluminación exterior. La tina estaba obstruida con lechada y tuve que meter la mano en la tubería y limpiarla. Algo que pedimos en el recorrido que se completara. Hay lechada manchada por todos nuestros pisos de baldosas y hemos tenido que rasparla. La puerta de la despensa no se cierra con pestillo y tampoco muchas de las otras puertas de la casa. La pintura se apresuró y muchas manchas mancharon el techo. Se muestran muchas lagunas. En general, apresurado y desordenado. Encontramos un nuevo problema casi a diario y, por el precio que pagamos, es muy frustrante. ... Más

El agente de Centex fue muy descortés y engañoso en varios aspectos. House estaba inacabado en el cierre y nos amenazó como si fuera nuestra culpa si retrocedíamos.

Digamos que mentiras, mentiras, mentiras.

La atención que recibe de los representantes de Centex es excelente justo antes de cerrar, después del cierre y cuando recibe sus llaves, buena suerte para comunicarse con cualquier persona para el servicio de garantía. Muy decepcionado. Eso por sí solo hace que no quiera recomendar Centex a amigos y familiares.
