First off, Rochelle and the rest of the sales team are amazing. I mean they knocked it out of the park. Then there is the field team and warranty team. They literally sucked the joy out of my experience of building my first home. They constantly change the rules to suit their needs, not the customer’s. My house had two floods. The first was when they hooked up the kitchen sink. It was installed incorrectly. The water damage resulted in cabinets needing to be replaced. The second occurred when the house was not locked before a weekend. The refrigerator was stolen. They left the water line on the floor. Water was everywhere. It was so bad the water was flowing into the garage. I don’t even trust this was mitigated properly. Zach one of the field managers did nothing on the house. I was supposed to close in 24 hours and nothing on the punch list had been done. Rochelle and I noticed it. Due to water and the punch list not being done, closing was rescheduled. My next field manager was Steven. They were rushing to close so I asked about when some of the small stuff would be done. He told me to call him for the first 30 days, and he would take care of it. The first 30 days fell over the holidays. So I messaged him before the holidays. He got back to me after holidays and told me to fill out service requests through the Pulte website. I advised him this was not what he told me to do. He never responded. Enter the warranty manager Cynthia. She and I talked and she was working through text message and then she changed the rules. She told me to put everything in through the service requests portal on the Pulte website. Again changing the rules. Needless to say I was unhappy. I did as I was told. Then she started to give me pushback. She was claiming I was outside the 30 day window, and I would need to wait until the 11 month final walk through. I explained what Steven had told me. She then advised me she did not care what Steven told me and this is how I would be doing it from now one. I talked to Cynthia’s boss Tony. He was very kind. He listened to my concerns. He transferred my file to John. We will see how John does. The final work is scheduled for 1/18/2022. I have had to take yet another day off from work thanks to Pulte. So I will see how this plays out. I have no faith in this company. I will never recommend Pulte order any of its subsidiaries to my worst enemy. Centex has not been a good experience. Everyone was warm and welcoming in the beginning, but they are not to be trusted. They force you to close before everything is correct and they tell you it’ll be no problem to get it fixed. Once you reach out, it’s hard for them to fix it. They cut corners and try to make you feel like you’re stupid or wrong for asking them to fix it. If I’m paying this much for a house, I would like it to be done correctly. Maybe they were rushing or maybe the contractors weren’t being supervised properly by the construction managers. I’m not the only one who’s had bad experiences. After talking to my neighbors, I quickly learned that I was not alone regarding my dissatisfaction. ... Más

Overall very disappointed with the quality of the material and workmanship. Interior space, layout, plan seems OK. But execution, quality material, workmanship, quality control, inspection process are subpar. The second day after moving we had to call emergency number for water leak in laundry room. You can imagine the experience. I had purchased two houses prior to this and were not this disappointed unfortunately. I am not recommending anyone to build or purchase Centex house.

1000% would not recommend nor build a Centex home ever again. We’re already planning our next move so we can get out before the Josie falls apart.

We bought our brand new home on July 18, 2021. We found our "salesperson" Jessica Golden, to be pleasant and responsible, but as we moved on into our new home we have had many problems with our new construction home built by Centex. Centex Homes and Pulte have been the most unprofessional and unreliable companies I have ever encountered. No one answer the phone nor emails. We have a busted irrigation lines in our home. We have to shut off the sprinkles because of the water accumulated around the water meter and the backyard. Two weeks ago, water was coming out of the ceiling in the garage. It happen that something was not properly attach to the bath tub creating the water to accumulated underneath the bathtub. This caused damages to the bathtub, floor, and ceiling in the garage. Lastly, the kitchen cabinet has a huge whole and no one can replace it. It has ben a nightmare! ... Más

I'm moving date we had a water leak. Carpet how to get pulled up tack strips padding for the car pickup pulled up how to cut out sheetrock in 3 different rooms. And the house is very dirty when we moved in I'm going to make my second payment and stuff has still not all been fixed

This was our first new home buying experience. And it was totally ruined from day one. We got the wrong set of keys and couldn’t get into the house. Then there are many issues with workmanship and quality. Been here a month and still not fixed !

No quality or pride in workmanship. Carpet covered in paint and drywall dust. Treated like damaged floors, switches, appliances, counters etc are normal for a new house. No processes whatsoever. Every attempt to fix just made worse because they hire the cheapest most inexperienced labor they can find.

Horrible first time home buying experience. I still have issues that have not been resolved, and have to wait days until someone is willing to fix it. Absolutely not happy.

I wish I could say I got my money’s worth, but I don’t feel that way. There is no team here, just one person trying to get the various workers to do their jobs. There was no opportunity to upgrade anything. The materials used seem cheap, the workmanship is shoddy. Someone came to fix a problem and made another problem that someone else had to come back and fix. There are gouges in the walls that should have been plastered and painted before move in. Fixtures are plastic. Entry level appliances, flooring, etc. I’m disappointed and resigned.

My honest overall experience has not been the best and definitely had room for improvement from day one of my experience. I experienced poor customer service not from all but a few. Believing Centex and Pulte are linked I had a fair share of issue with Pulte as well . As far as the overall build and structure of the home , at a glance all is beautiful but once you start “living” you start to notice a lot unnecessary flaws. I understand some issues with the walls will happen due to the setting of the home but there were many drywall and paint issues, along with chips to bathroom countertop, discolored grout, issue with staircase, ac vent leak less then a week into the home, and above all no insulation in the attic . Yes some issues have been corrected in a timely matter others are still pending. I can only hope the company will hold up their reputation and correct the flaws in the construction in a timely manner. ... Más

Door was left unlocked upon moving the first day no keys or lock. Almost a month later I'm still dealing with non finished items from contractor. My salesperson didn't even double check the home prior to me moving in nor gave me neighborhood info until I asked.

The process during the build was fine. The quality of the materials and workmanship is horrendous. I am disappointed to own this quality.

After moving into our home, several issues were noted. One was the realization that the bathroom tub has permanent damage, namely, severe scratches and scuff marks that cannot be remedied by cleaning. Another issue was several scratches on the glass of the bathroom mirror. Those scratches, obviously, cannot be removed by cleaning. Centex has refused to remedy those issues. If not remedied by Centex, those problems, among others, will forever be reminders of the poor construction and lack of accountability by Centex/Pulte. For the price paid for the home, the quality,materials, and workmanship is very poor.

Estaba muy decepcionado con Centex. Si bien los modelos de casas que vi parecían construidos según el código estándar y máximo, rápidamente descubrí que esto era falso. En el mes de noviembre, cuando llegué para asegurar el encuadre, y desbastado en plomería y electricidad, descubrí que Centex contrata “contratistas” deficientes que ignoran el código de seguridad del edificio. Tras mi inspección, encontré vigas rotas que los plomeros dejaron comprometiendo la estructura de mi casa. El administrador del edificio en ese momento era Tim y me molestó saber que no planeaba reemplazar las vigas si yo no las había descubierto. Una vez que se reemplazaron las vigas rotas, pasé al revestimiento exterior de la casa. Fue para mi consternación que descubrí 30 orificios de clavos donde los "redactores" no alcanzaban la viga. Una vez más, Tim no iba a calafatear estos agujeros para evitar la infiltración de agua en mi casa si yo no hubiera insistido en que se hiciera. Cualquier profesional de calidad en el comercio sabría que esta es una solución no negociable. Mi caminata “final” fue el 31 de enero de 2020. Este comentario solidificó aún más que Centex no valora los estándares de la industria y la calidad de la construcción. Durante la caminata interior descubrí que la pared principal de la gran sala estaba tan arqueada en el medio que cuando coloqué un nivel en ella pude balancearla hacia adelante y hacia atrás. Intenté hablar varias veces con el gerente de campo y no obtuve atención. Realmente me sorprendió que nadie le prestara atención al comprador de la vivienda.

Mi esposa y yo estábamos muy felices de haber conseguido una casa nueva. Es decir, hasta una semana después de que nos mudamos. Encontramos manchas en nuestra pintura, los constructores usaron nuestro microondas durante la construcción y no lo limpiaron, los pintores dejaron una pila de papel de pintura de basura apiñada debajo del horno, alfombra los clavos sobresalían lo suficiente como para apuñalar nuestros pies cuando caminábamos descalzos, la puerta de vidrio de la ducha choca con el pomo de la puerta del baño, se usó pintura interior para pintar toda la pared exterior del porche trasero, la puerta del garaje tenía pintura descascarada (y cuando finalmente fue repintaron, lo pintaron para cerrarlo), varias baldosas agrietadas en la cocina, las encimeras tenían bordes afilados (y en realidad cortaron el brazo de mi esposa), las molduras y molduras estaban instaladas incorrectamente, la parte inferior de CADA alféizar de la ventana no estaba pintada, la ventana del dormitorio principal gotea cuando llueve, y la lista de doce páginas continúa. Mala calidad

Nunca obtuve las llaves adecuadas o las llaves del buzón de correo. Me hizo pagarlo sin recibirlo nunca. El vendedor dijo 370 en el trato de la casa. Luego volvieron a 375. Fuga en el baño de arriba. Aún no se han secado las paredes del techo. Nuevos problemas de aire acondicionado. 3 agujeros de hombre en el frente que nadie ha abordado. Muy decepcionado.

Es una buena casa cuando estás afuera, mirándola, pero cuando miras cada detalle dentro de la casa, verás muchos problemas, las puertas no están alineadas correctamente y todas las maderas tienen daños / abolladuras, el concreto la losa en la parte trasera del patio se está deteriorando, inundación en ambos lados de la casa, no hay luz de la calle, incluso lo informamos al punto central, el gerente de campo nunca respondió a su mensaje de texto sobre su inquietud, el contratista realmente se apresuró a construir la casa

Falta extrema de comunicación y capacidad de respuesta, numerosos problemas desde el cierre que aún no se han resuelto, múltiples problemas de plomería, nada bueno que decir sobre nuestra experiencia
