Dealing with Pulte mortgage was a pleasure as the entire staff were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Same dealing with Pulte Insurance, friendly knowledgeable and experienced staff. Both the mortgage and Insurance portions of Pulte were awesome and if it stopped right there my ratings above would be all 5's.. However, I don't share the same feelings about Pulte Financial. There were 2 employees there who were friendly, knowledgeable and professional but there was 1 without mentioning names who was completely the opposite to the point I almost decided to conceive with the purchase and file a bad faith lawsuit. This person hit behind blaming everything on an "Underwriter" and when I asked numerous times to speak with this person I was denied. They were asking for irrelevant documents that did not pertain to the purchase of the home. And the irony of the matter is I possess an 821-credit rating and showed them income/savings whereas I could have paid cash not only for this home but for 3 others. And in the end delayed our original closing date and time. So needless to say, I was not thrilled and would advise protentional buyers not to use Pulte financial. In fact since I moved here 2 friends followed and they used Pulte but not financial and I have 2-3 friends moving here next year and I will advise them of the same. Respectfully, Joez ... Más

Make sure everything works properly before because if you don’t it’s hard to get people to come out and fix it

The building crew itself was exceptionally good however the lending process was very stressful for no reason. I would give a 0 star but for the sake of the building team

My overall experience was good. The only issue was getting the tittle in my name at the county property adjusters office was not so smooth. I contacted the Centex employees to let them know that the name change had not been recorded. Other than that I have an electrical issue in the house and we see how they handle it. Thanks!

If this entire process was in the hands of Todd D alone, then I would have given a 5-star rating for all fields and for the entire process. Alas, such is not the case. He is only one man. Workmanship is OK; I guess. The home inspector stated he was impressed compared to other builders. Hence, let's say workmanship is good. The quality of materials: again, what do I know? Again, my inspector did not raise any significant concerns re: quality of materials. So, once again, what can I say? What I can say is the enough of the materials are "cheap". 1. The rods used in the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. They are as light as a cotton candy stick. And, the tension pressure feature fails. 2. Many of the bathroom sink stoppers are just loose, flimsy; it's as if you scrub too hard, they'll fall apart in the sink. 3. When I first saw the model house, I wanted the tub/shower combo in the master bathroom. I was told they were no longer offering that feature; all that was available was the walk-in shower. Several months later, just as the ground was broken on my home, with the opening of the next phase, the shower/tub combo feature was made available. I submitted an email to be considered for this option, as this was the one thing that I had always wanted in my home. It took 4 days, if not longer, before a response was provided. And the reason given that I could not have this feature was because the frames were up. When I submitted my request 3-4 days prior, only concrete had been poured; no frames had gone up. Maybe, just maybe, if my email had been read 2-3 days earlier, some consideration could have been made. ...MAYBE. 4. As I lay in my bed one or 2 nights before my closing, it occurred to me, this home has no sensible or adequate storage. Many, if not all except this one, new constructions use the space under the stairs in a 2-storey building for storage. Not here! There is no closet to house items such as mops, brooms, upright vacuum cleaners. The pantry is only shelves. What this means is one has to consider using either the garage, or placing a shed in the backyard, for storage. Neither of which I am pleased at having to consider. A garage is meant for cars. And the backyard space is made for one's enjoyment without the eyesore of a shed. 5. The overall sense of pride in one's work is lost as a general rule. There are so many instances of trash, empty plastic bottles and cans being the top offenders, strewn along the construction sites. There were several instances of isolated socks on the grounds of a few homes. I can't tell you how many times things such as turning around a door knob, and missing door hinges had to be addressed. 2 months in and have had more problems than anticipated with a new build. Cabinet doors, outside stonework pieces broken off, etc. You can see where they took easier routes (cheaper).

So, I purchased a home with Centex. The Centex Sales Staff and Builders were excellent. Unfortunately, the Pulte Lending staff were not very knowledgeable and dragged their feet for 30 days, literally asking for documents that I would have to obtain from a California court at the 11th hour, in which would cause me to miss my closing date. Also, I suggested a 45 day escrow but Pulte lending insisted on 30 days. After observing Pulte lending mishaps, too many to name in this revuew, I finally decided that the $10k towards closing on my Centex home purchase was not worth it and went with another lender who got me approved in 2 weeks, only missing my closing date by 2 weeks. ... Aaron is a great manager and good leader but the minor fixes, cleanup, vinyl floor application from his team members needs improvement.. saw a lot of wood dust in a lot of corners, paint on carpet, etc. For this big investment there shouldn’t be anything spotted.. I am quite picky but everyone isn’t so overall it is okay experience with builder team.

Overall a good experience except for the closing attorney was awful. I have bought several properties, this group had the worst communication ever.

Builders Pete and Clint were absolutely amazing would want them to build my next home God willing. They are very professional and explained all I needed to do for my home for the upcoming months and in the future to get the best longevity of the home

If it weren’t for the Project Manager Blaine we would’ve walked away from this home. The sales office are bullies and rude but after speaking with the builder and him making himself available to the community has helped.

First time home buyer and I expected more. Some things in the house from workmanship and materials point of view only were my main complaints.

Purchasing the home through Pulte/Centex has been a rollercoaster. This is our second home and we’ve had a slew of problems (still unfixed since 2019). We purchased this home in January 2023 and while the quality and workmanship is not something I’m proud of, I have to give credit to the Construction managers Andrew and Steve and Warranty manager Brittany. For the first 20-30 days we had several electrical issues and lost power, which was fixed. Other items are still being worked on. If it wasn’t for the listed associates above, we would not have purchased.

It was a journey but Robin kept me informed at all times and was ready to answer questions

We loved the houses and community since we visited it. The experience with sales, title, mortgage, and construction wasn’t the best. Bad communication and some staff were somewhat unprofessional, last minute and don’t explain everything to you. My construction manager changed 4 times and it was a terrible experience. Tried to get a hold with a mortgage rep to ask questions about closing costs, no one got back to me Title waited til last minute to provide wiring instructions and during closing had to wait hours to confirm they received it just because they were late providing that info to me House is still full of wall scratches, blue tape, and light not working even after closing ... I love my house but there have been some minor things and major thing that have been disappointing. The major thing is my house is full of roaches, I’ve never had roaches before and now I am finding them all over. It’s making my living experience nearly unbearable.

Would have been nice if the closing company worked with us better on closing dates

Dawn was absolutely wonderful and extremely helpful. Ben and his team have also been fabulous and they go the extra mile. They are the reason we ended up going through with this purchase. They are the heart and soul of this branch. Even though I had some water issues the water company was extremely responsive. I love my new house it is my dream house. I am thankful that they always make sure the requests are handled quickly, and if a contractor doesn't show Ben steps up and actually does it himself. He needs a raise seriously, he is superman! I give Ben & Dawn 5 stars! The lower review was due to two of the contractor's that you use, and Pulte Mortgage company that is disorganized and is not communicating with the property effectively. FYI: We do think they need to raise the 4 ft fence rule, ALL of the neighborhood thinks so too. The retention pond is too close not to have higher fences, plus dogs get out because of it. Contractors that I didn't care for: I wish that they would have used different electricians because we have had so many issues with that. I also think they should have used different painters, they did not do a very good job. I think whoever did the drywall should find another job... ... Más

Weak tradesman. Average quality. The subs don't care. This is the lowest tier of construction quality that exists. Having said that, Pulte is a good company that really tries to take care of their customers

There were TWO people from Centex (i.e., Pulte) that were GREAT to work with. That's not to imply that everyone else was bad...it's just that these two people were exceptional, and one was over-the-top exceptional. That said, I don't feel at the end of the process that I ended up with the home that *I* wanted. What I ended up with was the home that Centex/Pulte was willing to build for me (again..."per plan"). This is the problem with "production builders" like Centex/Pulte, and going in...I knew I would have a problem "fully liking" the end result. Next time...it's custom home builder all the way!!! At least that's the way I'll get the home that *I* want - and NOT the other way around again. This doesn't mean we didn't end up with a "quality home" at the end of this process. (In a LOT of ways, the final "quality" of the home is yet to be determined - perhaps after a few hurricanes pass over.) As I said...it's just not the *final* home that I wanted...and now I'm going through additional non-trivial deconstruction/reconstruction expenses to get that home that I wanted. It pretty much sucks. And that's how I feel about the whole experience as I write this review today...and we have yet to actually live in our new Centex/Pulte home for a full month. ... Más

I love my new home. This is the first home I have had the pleasure of picking the colors and the floor plan and am happy with the finished product.

Certain things that should hve been done prior to closing were not dine properly. Two baseboards were not squared. Tile grout had holes, ripples. Tile floor also had some material tracked on to it. This shoud have been noticed and fixed prior to the closing.
