Hard to get a person to spread With when something is needed. And the issue submittal for Is less Than ideal and does not always get a result.

Although Steve is very friendly and an overall nice person I am not happy. I think my house was built in a rush. I have a lot of things that needs to be fixed such as my floor, which is starting to separate. As you can see, I've only been in the house for a little over three months. My backdoor do not close properly, my closet door in the mud room do not close.

After posession of home, staff and management is unresponsive...Quality and craftmanship isnt high quality either, had quite a bit of chips and scratches, electrical malfunctions. Promised Google hub isnt ordered yet and I am still waiting to get it.

The sales staff are excellent at providing information and facilitating the loan process once a home is reserved. The construction crews cut corners, used lower quality materials, and had to replace broken or incorrect parts in the house throughout the building process. The items identified during the final walk through were not all completely resolved 90 days after closing. Make sure you understand the homeowner association rules and restrictions.

I was really upset that I didn’t catch all the little details during the walkthrough but I was working 7 days a week and was tired at that time. As I got settled in I started noticing one thing after another. One warranty issue was resolved which was a ceiling fan that didn’t work. (You would imagine it would be tested during installation). I’ve submitted photos of all my issues (roughly 50 or so). I understand the Covid 19 situation put a damper on things but I’m still sitting in a home purchased at $205,000 that was done in poor quality. It seems as though it was rushed.

I got several problem badly. Septic pump broken and flood to front yard. Water leaking from ceiling but can't find the reason.

Once we were in the house, we started noticing a lot of problems with house and landscaping. It was very frustrating and hard to get problems resolved. We wish that we could turn back the hard of time before we purchase. Would have purchased elsewhere.

Bought a brand new home. Has rodent issues. Turns out other homes in the neighborhood have the same. Team not very receptive. Not buying home from Century again.

Overall our homebuying experience was ok. The process to purchase the home was no problem and being able to visit the site and ask questions initially was great. During our first walk-through of our home, we were told many portions of the house still needed to be finished but we were still were able to mark many problems with what was "finished". During our second walk-through, most of the problems we marked were not fixed and we marked additional problems during our second walk-through. We were reassured that these problems would be fixed by the time we move in. Move-in day, we found that many of the problems we marked were not fixed and would need to be followed up on. During the first few days, our contact with the builder was attentive and helpful. We were able to get many of our problems fixed. But after that first month, contact was delayed or nonresponsive and we are currently still stuck with many problems with our brand new home. Cracks in the tubs and showers, light fixtures that don't work, AC vents that blow inconsistently, an AC unit that completely blocks our walkway to the back, a laundry room vent that doesn't work, etc. Although I believe that these things will get fixed, from what I'm told, they are things that we've had to deal with in the first few months of our home. I would not recommend . Bad communication and a large list of warranty items already.

Very limited options and everything is package. It is very expensive almost 100% up compared to the outside market. Response to the issues is not great. Ex century installed incorrect garage machine and it is more than two months raised a request n no response so far. Several other items penind

- why push to close when the house had so many issues that needed to be resolved? - 5/6 months later and I still have unresolved issues from pre closing walk through - paint/detail job was poor and unexcusable as "faults of the house" - nail is sticking up from floor, underneath the carpet (from move in) and still not resolved - cabinet drawer in kitchen was chipped from preclosing walk through and still not resolved - front lawn has a huge hole where water comes out of and floods the sidewalk and flies congregate there - lack of communication -would never recommend anyone to buy from century communities. I'm a single mother trying to provide for my child and my "new" house is subpar. - don't like how I couldn't choose my own options for the house - guy who's in charge of addressing issues after move-in is useless. ... Very poor response from customer support

Overall disappointed in the builder. Poor paint quality in the house; scuffs way too easy. Cabinets have issues and not fixed 6 months after moving in. Bath tub lining has construction residue on it and needs to be replaced. Front steps had to replaced because they were wrong and not to code. Wiring was backwards. Poor quality. Poor design.

Overpriced and skimped everywhere. What can I say

We requested to close two weeks later than Century wanted us to close to accommodate the sale of our other home but they wouldn’t budge. Tbey were fixated on a fast close (3 weeks from when we signed) and they refused to be flexible to do a 5 week close instead of 3. That put us in an extremely difficult financial situation to make it happen.

The quality of the build is exceptionally poor. Definitely not the quality expected for what we paid.

Quality is not good at all, everyone has so many issues related to house and internal failures.

Literally no response after key handover. Too bad especially Expressions College Park team. Till date they didn’t came back without issues even after 90 days.

Bought a Century home in California, Quality of the homes built by Century communities is not great, poor design& Architecture, quality issues were observed throughout the house either in the materials used or in the workmanship. The walls are not straight in few areas, the flooring is not installed appropriately, upgrade options quality is poor. Sales team was fine. But the customer service team (to report any issues) is extremely poor, takes many months to fix issues, don’t respond, requires many many follow ups. This is not just my experience but many of my neighbors also had same problems with century communities. If we have a choice, I would not buy a home with Century. ... Más

I observed very irresponsibility from Century Communities, I have to chase people to get the updates, it's not customer friendly in terms of upgrades, the company solgan says "You Dream we built" - which is obsolutely is not true, what ever the package they decided we have to go with it, customer care after collecting keys is very pathetic, I never see such a worest customer care any where.

Through the whole process it seems like everything is rushed through and you end up with/without options you didn’t/did want. We tried to change options a few days after we signed but by then it was “too late.” After you home is built, good luck getting a response back from anyone from the front office of the community. They are not helpful and never respond back to you unless you go to them face-to-face. Beware of the “referral” program. It doesn’t exist unless it is financed into the loan of the people that you referred. Feels like they’re extremely greedy and push you through the door before your ready. ... Más

Don’t recommend them if you’re a first time homeowner like we are. You will be left lost and confused with no communication or information on who to contact. We bought our home and it was missing certain options that should have been included. Found out after moving in and trying to get settled that things were missing and it has caused more problems since our original customer service rep was less than helpful... when I questioned if items were missing during walkthrough, I was brushed off. I don’t know how they missed some of the stuff (electrical wiring) and no one caught it before we did. Still waiting to have it all resolved. ... Más

It took me a while to complete this survey, since I was hoping Century Community construction manager will complete all things corrected in our pre-closing pending items for builder to fix in a timely manner, but it's NOT the case. It has been a little bit over 3 months since we moved into to our place and items prior closing haven't all fixed yet and still no feedback from construction manager or sales. Unfortunately Century does not have a hot line or a number where you can complain about the the lack of communication from construction manager. I should it pay closer attention to the feedback before we decided to purchased with this builder. Very disappointed and not at the construction of the house, but of the poor customer service they provide once they deliver the house.... ... Más

After first month no one gives a care. I never received my google hub as promised in my contract. Constantly getting workers ringing my doorbell while I am trying to work instead of getting emails from the community.
