Builder installed the wrong size (Too Big) attic stairs. They cut off the bottom so stairs would fully extend when open. But by cutting off the bottom, it is difficult for a person who is 6'2", to reach up and grab the bottom step to pull down and open the stairs. Disappointed in this aspect of the home. The rest of the home seems to be in good order.

Exterior major water line leak outside of home due to heavy operator equipment during construction.

The politeness and willingness to help

There were many spots INSIDE the home that needed a little more thought. The door swinging into the restrooms were too close to the ground leaving no room for the skinniest bathroom mat or the bathroom floor tiles were uneven so the door scrapes the floor when opening. There are many shiny spots on the wall that were obviously touched up with the wrong paint. Many spackle leftover spots were left on the carpet.

Time will show how good or bad the quality of materials were used for this house. The foundation seems solid, though. However, the concrete and sidewalk has cracked and shifted significantly. Also am noticing a few cracks here and there inside the house on the dry wall. Will be submitting warranty report on those...

It is tough building homes and when you are trying to build as many as possible as fast as possible, mistakes are made. Overall, I am happy with my house but my expectations were not blown away or have exceeded my standards.

The service people do not respond in a timely manner. My 3-month-old requests are still pending.

This builder is great, however the responsiveness to issues has been poor. I have had to have three reschedules and not great follow-up.

The sales associate we worked with Victoria Gieczys was FANTASTIC, she kept us updated weekly, she was thorough with upgrades and final requests, pictures, answered questions on the spot and a wonderful personality Very good at representing Century Communities! Don and Jason on the construction side both very good and accomodating as well!

Buying a spec home is good/bad. don't have to angst over any decisions, but also don't get things you would have for sure chosen if being built from the ground up. Whoever makes the decisions of upgrading might want to get feedback about current preferences. Have had to completely change out was a very basic fireplace to a more suitable custom finish. Century never left any leftover paint for touch ups that may have been overlook before closing.

I dont feel that the sales rep provided accurate information in some cases; we were given incorrect HOA rates, we were told that were going to being information on the rec centers and golf course but have not been provided with anything, we were also told somethings were included but they were not.

Get all your work down before you move in. Post move the customer service on is really bad.

Overall I do love my home however there have been some electric issues and internet issues with the area the home was built at. The homes in my area were all built on one electric small grid and we were without power for an entire week. My husband and I were not able to work that entire week. This is not okay when we’re told that the home was built in reliable area to get the resources we need in order to work from home everyday.

We loved the neighborhood. Several minor issues with quality and HOA regulations are somewhat restrictive; fencing, landscaping, etc. Insulation feels inadequate and non-existent on external garage walls. Overall, home value is very good.

Everyone was very friendly and kept in touch throughout the entire process. Was a much better experience than when we had a house built previously.

The attention to detail of the cosmetics of the homes should be better

The home buying experience was good and pretty seamless. There were no issues with the sales, and loan processing teams. Couldn’t keep up with how quickly the loan was sold off. I was not able to request any changes even though my house was still in the framing stage and it was two months away from being completed. I wanted the no tub option for example and I wanted a larger patio but had to settle for the standard plan. I will live with the bathroom but will have to pay to get my patio extended. After living in the house I started to notice the little things like no towel hangers in the bathrooms and no hand towel hangers by the vanity, no toilet roll hangers etc. Also the front door was not included in the blind installation. Had to purchase additional hardware that would be considered standard installation for a house. There are footprints and rag prints on the floor that I can’t just wipe off and will have to figure out how to fix. The interior doors are cheap and unfinished but painted over. Nothing earth shattering but from a quality standpoint very dissatisfying. Next time I will pay more attention to these details. ... Más

Our sales person and construction foreman were super with providing us with answers to our questions and keeping us informed on the progress. The home plans includes many items geared towards over 55 adults. However, there are several items they could also add. Overall, we are pleased with our purchase.

The warranty claim process has Ben a HUGE disgrace. From multiple missed appointments, the warranty experience had been a total nightmare. I almost wish I had bought an existing home

Fit and finish needs to be improved. The final details that are seen every day need to be reviewed and brought to a higher standard.

Overall our experience was good. Our sales agent was very friendly. Our only complaint is some miscommunication with selections such as the exterior color of our house (we were told it was going to be one color and it ended up being a different color- we don’t mind the color so it ended up not being a big deal). We also didn’t appreciate the quality of the fixes requested at our blue tape walk through. Most weren’t fixed even after our final walk through and even then we felt like a lot of them were just quick fixes that didn’t last long. But the structure/ size of our house & yard is great for what we paid. ... Más

The home seems to be made with cheap materials. Felt like details were rushed and hired laborers who did sub par work.
