Mike and Nolan were great. Answered all my questions in a timely matter. Mike personally made sure all items were taken care of. And Nolan took care of any concerns that I had. A wonderful community.

Very accurate timelines for building and closing

Every Person I had discussion with was responsive to my questions and needs. This made my path down the purchase and new construction easy.

While Del Webb does a good job of supplying a quality product, there are problems in Del Webb communities that need addressing. First, the management company does not register new homeowners for weeks. It does not matter how dedicated the local folks are, the corporate office does not well support the local folks, so there are real issues. Also, while the home build was fine, Del Webb does not do a good job of managing traffic in new build areas, so one often has to wait to get in and out of one’s own house. Also, on occasion the driveway itself is blocked. This is a real issue because at times emergency vehicles could would not be able to get in and out. Pulte is exposing itself to an huge liability here, but it does not seem to mind. Also, deliveries to private residences seem to have a lot of failures, perhaps because delivery vehicles could not get in and out. And for some odd reason, perhaps the same issue, trash has not been picked up for others. These are real issues that need to be addressed. ... Más

Because of medical issues, our living situation had changed, and we no longer could live in our 2-story home. I started looking for a senior community with many amenities. Kensington Ridge fit the bill! My first contact was with salesperson Elaine. What a blessing! She advised and reassured me throughout the buying process and had many great suggestions. She certainly made the buying and scheduling process a breeze as I had to deal with many other situations during this process. The construction process went as planned. Just a few hiccups, but nothing that was not corrected in a timely manner. The construction walk throughs were informative and the closing process was easy. Nolan was readily responsive to my needs with moving in issues. He had work orders ready to fix issues immediately and came to my home himself to remediate some problems. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and pleasant, but I do need to single out Elaine in sales and Nolan in construction as they both went "above and beyond" in customer service. Everyone was professional and helpful to the extent they were able to coordinate all the pieces.

We enjoyed our experience building our new home at Kensington Ridge, starting with our salesperson Julie who guided us in selecting our lot and floor plan and exploring and pricing our various options. She patiently answered all our questions- and there were many! The designer Kim helped us pull together all the design elements. And the construction crew led by Mike, Nolan and Frank provided weekly building updates and were very responsive whenever we had concerns. Since we moved in, issues have been promptly addressed. Our neighbors are great. And have you seen the clubhouse?!? Wowza!

Overall, the experience was great. We only had one concern. After paying for the expensive shower head, the door would not swing properly as it hit the shower head. Any new buyers, beware of placement of the shower head regarding the shower door swing. It should be placed higher than the door top.

The sales team was wonderful to work with, providing great suggestions and guiding us through the whole process. The construction managers we dealt with were very responsive, and the overall build quality is great. We love our Del Webb community! Our only major complaint is with the HVAC workmanship in the basement. We paid extra for a full basement with higher ceilings so that we could finish it later. Unfortunately, the HVAC contractor ran the ductwork below the ceiling joists haphazardly, with no regard for preserving open ceiling space. Runs that could’ve been place along walls were run right down the center of the ceiling, and some runs were even hung diagonally across the ceiling. The Del webb construction manager told us “that’s just the way they do it,” and “it meets code.” We will have to have most of the HVAC runs redone before we finish our basement. During the build, water run off was an issue and improvements were made based on my request. The basement is dry now. After closing issuse are being addressed one by one and going well. There are two significant issues about the garage and deck graded the wrong way appears to be a serious problem. We will see what happens.

Nuestro constructor fue muy informativo, nos mantuvo actualizados sobre el progreso de nuestra casa. Creemos que la pintura interior y las ventanas son de baja calidad. You really need to develop an extensive list of questions. The sales agent will reveal only what they have to...and the sales process is somewhat deceptive from our perspective (they don’t answer some things straightforwardly, they keep selling after your contract...for instance..nobody mentioned painting the garage... until we met with the construction manager...well down the process...he sold us on it). We’re glad we painted the garage...but it should have come up 6 weeks earlier. There were several things like that. Flat work is bad (many cracks in basement (less than 2 months in). Painting is poor and careless. Again, production builder...that’s what you get. ... Más

We were happy with the sales experience. Build Quality was very good. At pre-closing walkthrough, we were told any issues within 30 days would be immediately handled by quality control manager. That never happened. Two messages asking for very minor issues to be corrected were never answered or acknowledged.

The concept of KR is good, the execution is cookie cutter. Poorly designed spaces that defy logic. Cheap cost cutting measures leave a new home owner with a bad taste in their mouth. Sure hope the lifestyle is worth it.

Las casas están bien diseñadas con una distribución agradable. Sin embargo, algunos de los materiales y la mano de obra no son muy buenos. Creé una lista de aproximadamente 14 artículos que, hasta la fecha, solo se han reparado 2 artículos. Cuando tomé posesión de la casa, el cemento de la entrada no se pudo verter debido al clima frío. Bueno, ahora hace más calor y estoy viendo casas nuevas aún desocupadas con entradas de coches vertidas mientras espero.
