Overall I am satisfied with my new home in Del Webb Sun City Hilton Head. As far as a well built home it’s hit and miss, some of the work appears to be done by experienced craftsman while other work shows the results of inexperienced overworked migrant workers. These homes are built on a concrete slab which I am told should cure for a month before constructed upon. Del Webb/Pulte starts framing the next day or two after pouring the concrete. I home I don’t pay for that down the road with settling.

Good Builder who stands behind their product

We were given a good understanding of the building process by the builder from the beginning. There were several good reviews prior to the start of the build to ensure we agreed with the drawings and plans. Then, there was good communication throughout the entire build process.

Pulte plans had a lot to be desired, I would like to see they give choice to buyers without requiring them to pay for a package when they only wanted to pay extra for one item. This is not good customer service

Workmanship could be better. Subs missed the mark in some areas. Others excelled

Overall I would say were satisfied. Some minor items weren’t done to our liking. Quality control could of been better. We do love the home! Just the small situation we’re Annoying.

Overall experience was very positive. Beautiful home and very responsive to questions

Although these are not custom homes , you are able to make options that make the home more suited to your needs.

some workmanship and materials were subpar and are still not corrected, but i still have trust in the builder to fix the problems in the next few weeks.

Good buyer experience, not perfect but much better than most...would definitely feel comfortable buying from them again.

The schedule provided about two months after signing the Purchase Agreement was reasonably accurate all things considered - weather, shortages of building materials, etc.

Amazed at how quickly the house was built. Just moved in.

This was our third build in Lakewood Ranch and in many ways the easiest. Very limited options, but we were able to fill things in after we closed. Only problem was the pool builder Coast to Coast who was unresponsive and we had to cancel and do the pool after closing

We love our new Del Webb home! It is a beautiful home and the process was pretty smooth. We would do it again.

I give 3 stars to the Quality of materials and workmanship. While the quality of materials used to build the home itself are excellent, it’s the attention to detail that’s lacking - broken windows installed, lackluster cleaning (minimal attempt made at removing drywall dust off floors before hardwood and tile installation), sloppy final cleaning of windows, etc, tracking mud in on newly-installed carpet and then making no attempt to clean it up, etc), planting millipede-infected sod that was already dead upon installation, sloppy / haphazard exterior paint application... I gave them 5 stars for trustworthiness, because when I asked them to do something, they did it. It just got done haphazardly sometimes. This is where attitude (‘it’s not my house’) and the lack of attention to detail come in... I gave 4 stars to Value for the price paid. While we love our new home, we aren’t happy with being ‘forced’ to go with carpet in the basement when we didn’t want carpet! Or not being able to upgrade appliances or other items after the initial order selection. The Del Webb selection process is simply too restrictive for a home that’s supposed to be ‘custom’. More selections / options are needed... I gave 4 stars to Responsiveness to issues. Again, while everything I asked for eventually got done, it took prodding and repeated badgering to get completion... ... Más
