Custom er service is awful.

Too many to recount, but here are the highlights. 1. Quality of home construction was extremely unsatisfactory. Materials used were the lowest quality and cheapest that could be found. 2. Sales manager showed us and promised a particular decorative tile of what was supposed to be in our Quick Move In home, only to be told that it was a 'mistake' and Del Webb would not follow through with promised tile. Then said we could order it for $1,500! 3. Sloppy painting, all doors and jambs chipped and extremely rough, corners out of square, painting not fully completed 4. Us and many neighbors on our street have said we would have walked away from our purchase if we could have retrieved our deposit back ... Más

Not happy after one month here. Short list of problems: Furnace does not work, may have serious problems. Bathroom door splitting. Bathroom door does not latch. Front door and shutters sloppily painted, streaky, red paint slopped onto gray siding. Only one coat of paint on front door. Toilet water closet molding broken and chunk missing. Two walls with curved section. Deck door and wall not plumb. Oil stain on deck planks.

Unfinished and filthy. Poor follow up and home missing basic items throughout community. Models and clubhouse clean and landscape looks great. Homes left partially finished and it’s shocking how dirty the homes are left once completed and the building materials left behind.

The quality of work done by the tradesmen working on the homes in the Del Webb Sunbridge community are below average. It is difficult to get repairs or missed work completed after you close. I am not confident that I have a quality built home, I thought Pulte would be different but they have proven to be like all other mid-range builders; their multi-step build process did not add to the quality of the build. You can expect a punch list of things to work on after any build, but Pulte's after closing repair list is extensive and takes the joy of having bought a new home away from the homebuyer. Poor communication and poor construction

Would NOT recommend to buy a home built by PULTE

I feel that it was more important to slap together as many houses as possible in a short amount of time than to devote a little more time to the quality of the workmanship on the interior my house (in some cases terrible) as well as several noticeable flaws on the exterior. Some of the issues that were brought to the attention early on were not addressed and are still ongoing. Not what I expected from what I thought was a reputable home builder.

The very poor quality of work particularly the painting interiorly and exteriorly. Painted over dirt on windowsills. Semigloss will have to be done by a professional painter done at our expense. Would not allow the original painters back on this property. Dripped paint on upgraded tile floors, cabinetry, light fixtures, etc. throughout house. Not qualified painters and should not be part of your providers. The numerous mistakes regarding upgrade installations from door levers to front door lock. Total waste of time having to replace items. Damage to upgraded kitchen cabinets by a sub contractor not the cabinet installer. Damage done after completion of cabinetry installation. Carpeting installed over dirt filled flooring. Personally had to stop the installer who refused to vacuum stating he did not want to damage his vacuum. I personally had to sweep the floor which angered him. Mistakes made in master bathroom tile installations. At walk through, house was filthy, windows not washed, bathrooms and all flooring not cleaned. This is the 6th new home I have purchased and have never experienced such poor quality work by a builder. Was sickened by the whole experience at the walk through. Was repeatedly reassured that everything would be done to remedy and followed through with close of escrow. It is a shame as the floor plans are excellent in all models and the community is wonderful. Your execution from construction needs to significantly raise their standards, with all aspects no better than a C to D. I worry that the basic construction will prove problematic in the future. ... So many things that needed to be done delayed closing and supervisor promised to get them done along with some small items done after close, but didn’t do them. They are on 30 day punch list. Still waiting for toilet holder and 2 towel rings, unacceptable!

Buyer beware. Builder attempts to sub inferior goods for appearance of quality. Roads and streets keep in poor condition during construction period, creating tire dilemmas for unknowing vehicles.

Everything needs to be verified . There was some issues that had to be addressed and are not satisfied as of this date.

House lacked attention to details before closing. Builder are building so fast results are sloppy

We like the neighborhood but are shocked at how Del Webb won't take responsibility for blatantly poor workmanship. Within 2- 3 weeks of moving in, we noted the stonework on the exterior was cut and obviously installed wrong. We paid extra and it is embarrassing. The inspector came out and shrugged his shoulders and said you should have brought it up sooner. He never followed up and won't return calls. They bottom portion of the house missed stucco and paint. All they did was paint on the concrete and forgot the stucco. We will seek all avenues available to us to have Del Webb honor the warranty ... Más

Great design & community amenities. Poor quality painting with ultra cheap paint ( been here two months and all trim is still sticky, cheap moldings full of small and large dents, many dents and damaged areas of drywall, corner joints of base and crown molding coated with globs of caulk instead of carpenters putty. Production house built by poor craftsman with very little attention to detail or pride in workmanship. Hard to believe a public company would present this poor of a product.

Run!!!! Don’t buy from Pulte Homes as they were awful to work with! Everything from yard to doors- painting poor - Sheetrock poor; just an awful experience!! And they make you feel like you should just accept the their poor workmanship!

Structure is physically sound. Finishes are cheap - even the upgrades, and in many cases the finished product is left incomplete “because Pulte doesn’t do that”. Communication with third party vendors like the company responsible for landscaping is non-existent. Response time for a response from Pulte Customer Service Department is also non-existent. Overall the home is not worth the money one has invested in a brand new home. One should expect much higher quality finishes and a complete detail driven job given the cost of the home. Can not honestly recommend Pulte to friends or relatives. They most definitely over promise and under deliver - this I have also heard from several of my new neighbors. Aside from the cheap materials, the use of unskilled labor that consistently cannot perform the work satisfactorily (especially the interior) is unnerving to say the least. I would need to think long and hard before any recommendations.

Poor paint job, poor wood floor installation, poor cabinet installation, sewer backup, etc.

Ignoring the complaints Workers coming to do the fixing in a hurry therefore is not done correctly.

It is my opinion that the Field Supervisors are overwhelmed with the number of homes that they manage. There were weeks when we couldn't reach our field supervisor, now we know why. The quality of the construction is mediocre at best. The wrong moulding was installed, we still don't have our rear flood lights, the exterior trim is a joke, doors dinged up during construction (and not repaired) The interior paint is the wrong color. The grass in the back yard is so bad that it is dangerous to cut. I could go on but what good what it do? I was told by a field supervisor that If I complained too much, Pulte would cancel my contract and refund my down payment. So naturally, I waited until now to clear the air about our experience. Fortunately, the neighbors are fantastic. We have made several friends in the short time we have lived here. ... Más

Del Webb is a beautiful community with nice friendly people and lots of activities, which is why I chose it. The building process was horrendous, I had serious issues with my house and they never addressed or most of the time didn’t even acknowledge my concerns. I had one sales person who was outstanding and helped me the whole way through. If it wasn’t for her, I probably would still not be in my house. If you are looking for a great community, this is it. If you are looking to have a decent experience building your house or have any of your issues addressed in a timely manner, use a different builder. ... Más
