Pulte uses qualify products but the craftsmanship is well below average. During the build process, the workers are just that "workers" and not skilled tradesmen. They rush through the build with unskilled labor, leaving the buyer with many, many repairs and corrections after closing. We had over 100. The build field manager assigned to us was not very knowledgeable or dependable during the build, in fact he showed up to our initial meeting with the wrong build plans. Terrible workmanship. For every task completed, more damage is done. A week before closing you are expected to find all the errors to be fixed. Seriously, instead of having a quality control person, they expect senior citizens to find everything wrong for them to fix. You close before the house is done, and good luck getting a response. Slow, uncoordinated process with low quality product

From critical sales promises not kept to low quality materials and unskilled craftsmanship along with incorrect closing fees and erroneous explanation of closing costs, the entire experience was frustrating and exhausting. Worst house building experience by far and this is my fourth build in Dallas over 35 years.

So this is my third attempt to get the word out. Buyers beware!!! Bought a new house and I feel like I bought a fix me upper!!! Their project management is lousy - lots of promises but poor delivery; project manager originally assigned did not fulfill commitments, did not pay attention. The finish work is sloppy from the trades.

We understood going into our purchase that we were making significant concessions with the quality of the materials on the house. What astonished us is the extraordinary poor workmanship. With exception of our salesperson and our ORIGINAL PM, we felt "robbed" of our Del Webb expierience. From Pulte mortgage to the day of close and thereafter there were so many problems that it sucked the joy out of our forever home purchase. The people were nice but inflexible. The designer did not cover all the options available. Some items had a descent selection other things like paint colors, bath fixtures & lighting you had to take what they had. Their only interest is to pump out as many houses as possible in the shortest period of time.

Worst home buying experience. House structure is bare minimum to meet code and nothing extra. Lots of particle board instead of actual lumber. No leniency for small design changes. To get a decent house you have to spend thousands of dollars in upgrades. After more than a month after closing we are still trying to get simple things completed such as paint touch ups, irrigation system corrected, caulking around the house both inside and out, damaged tile repaired, etc. We give up on the cleaners and cleaned dripped paint and grout off the floors ourselves so we could start moving in. More emphasis on quantity of homes built over quality of homes built. We have been in our home over a month and are still waiting on many issues to be resolved. Poor customer service. Not at all what we expected in a new home, especially considering the price paid. Many delays, poor workmanship, no pride in work done. Promises of regular communication throughout the build did not happen. Overall disappointing experience, although we like the community and area.

Not happy after one month here. Short list of problems: Furnace does not work, may have serious problems. Bathroom door splitting. Bathroom door does not latch. Front door and shutters sloppily painted, streaky, red paint slopped onto gray siding. Only one coat of paint on front door. Toilet water closet molding broken and chunk missing. Two walls with curved section. Deck door and wall not plumb. Oil stain on deck planks.

Unfinished and filthy. Poor follow up and home missing basic items throughout community. Models and clubhouse clean and landscape looks great. Homes left partially finished and it’s shocking how dirty the homes are left once completed and the building materials left behind.

The quality of work done by the tradesmen working on the homes in the Del Webb Sunbridge community are below average. It is difficult to get repairs or missed work completed after you close. I am not confident that I have a quality built home, I thought Pulte would be different but they have proven to be like all other mid-range builders; their multi-step build process did not add to the quality of the build.
