Don't Over Promise & Under Deliver!!

Our experience was not at all what we were promised. Finding out someone had put a cigarette out in our walk-in shower to finding a banana peel hanging in the spare room closest. The workmanship for the price we paid is very poor. We have had numerous issues with getting things complete. Commutation with our field manager is awful. We should not have to be the ones to contact people in order to have things fixed.

Excitement quickly turned to disappointment

We did our walk thru and the place was a mess and was told they would do a final clean. Pointed out several issues inside and outside of the house. Received a text 3 days later that everything was fixed and we could move in. I am out of state so I did not come back for 3 weeks. When I arrived w truckloads of items to move in the majority of the walk thru stuff had not been complete and the house was filthy. The superintendent did get most items fixed in next 2 days but I should of never had to delay my move in or call people to come fix and clean. I am still trying to get the last few ...

This home has low quality of workmanship with many of the finishing details poorly done. We have had to have them come back to redo and repair many items that should of be done correctly in the first place. For a home that cost a half million dollars I would have expected much better quality and attention to details.

the quality of work is awful, I don't know where they get there tradesmen from, but the work is awful. They trip over each other destroying each others sad work skills. Was not impress with the celebration walk through wanted to cry. I am 30 odd days out and still have a punch list and the company is fighting with me weather they are responsible for the repairs. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

Beware. Tape all of your conversations with all people associated with your transaction from first meeting to Close of Escrow. Most of the people are not trustworthy. Workmanship is poor. No attention to detail. Document everything.

I was not happy with the way the my house was done. Painting was sloppy both on the inside and outside. Light fixtures were poorly done. Bathrooms walls are uneven and the fan sounds like a truck when turned on. On a windy day, the kitchen vent makes a flapping sound. Calls made were usually just lip service with no response to fix the problems

Lack of professionalism in building process

Don’t trust anything they tell you and check the process of building as often as possible. Their subcontractors are lackadaisical and exhibit very poor workmanship and concern about your new home. Quality is substandard for the prices you pay.

The lack of quality and quality control is non-existent resulting in multiple attempts to resolve the same issue. It is exhausting to say the least. There is also no accountability. Pulte blames the contractors and the contractors blame Pulte. Run, do not walk, to a community that does not use Pulte. This has and continues to be an exercise in futility. Forget about any relaxation while you own a Pulte home.

Horrible communication with the field manager. Never responds in a timely matter or not at all. Workmanship is poor. I've called customer service several times and still nothing gets resolved.

Beware of the lack of quality in the home you are purchasing. Walls out of plum, countertops in bath areas out of plum due to walls mentioned. Floors not cleaned before move in. Poor paint finish on doors and trim. Cabinet supplier not standing behind a workmanship issue. The list goes on, but you can see the problems from this short list.

I have nothing good to say about Pulte homes. I paid almost half a million for my house and have been very disappointed in the quality of work. Nicks in laminate flooring, screw holes in the garage where they put up the garage door wrong but neglected to fix the holes. Sloppy finish work the caulking is bad throughout the whole house. The microwave was not installed correctly, the kitchen range is crooked and don’t even get me started on the staircase railing. When the come to fix something the usually make it worse. They care about closing the deal. They do not care about you, your home, or about honesty and integrity. Their employees are dishonest and insincere. The company is cheap and will always choose their profit over the quality of the product they deliver to you. Really lackluster customer service by corporate employees who are experts at complaint deflection, redirection and excuse making.

Our poor quality of workmanship was created by having 5 different field managers exchange responsibility throughout the build of our home. POOR management system. OUR HOME IS FULL OF ITEMS NEEDING RREPAIRED AND THEY ARE CHOOSING TO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MISTAKES such as cracked window, unsmooth granite countertops with sharp edges.. Very Poor Customer Service, Communication, and Follow-up

At our initial meeting with our field manager (Andy S.) in August 2020, he assured us that he would provide weekly updates as our house was being built. We received "weekly" updates on 9/4, 9/18, and 12/18/2020. We would have to ask questions several times before receiving any response. We would often receive no response at all. When we would raise issues, Andy would often respond "I'll take care of it" but not follow-up and actually do anything. We ordered Pulte's kitchen appliance package and upgraded the cooktop from gas to electric. We had no appliances at all until about a week ...

Punch List items are taking forever

I have been in our home 6 weeks, all of the whirlpool appliance do not work. Have to call Whirlpool directly, get a service technician out here - after 5 days he comes out and tells me he has to order parts that take 4 to 6 weeks. I paid over $600K for this home - all appliances should work. I would like a call from a Pulte Manager to discuss this problem
