My experience was very easy. I signed, went to the design center and before I knew it I moved in! The communication was very good throughout the entire process.

Excellent support has been provided for early closing of the house and scheduling of all repair works. All identified items were addressed exceeding our expectations.

As compared to other builders I have dealt, the Highland team was top notch. Very attentive to me as a homebuyer but also making sure that they communicated effectively along every step of the way. The quality of the finished product far exceeds what wwe expected and friends and familly that have beenover have been wowed to the point of considering Highland for their own future homes. This marks our second experience as homeowners with a Highland Home. Our initial encounter with a Highland Home was around 2013, a few years after we tied the knot and embarked on homeownership together as a couple. Following the sale of our first home, we consistently found ourselves measuring subsequent residences against the standard set by Highland Home in terms of quality, space utilization, and overall aesthetic appeal. Everything was great, both Denise and Nick were great. Home is spaced and functions as expected. I appreciate the build quality and workmanship. The house was expensive, but what isn't these days?

Great value for the money. The construction quality could use some improvement though. Sales manager was good and responsive until we got into contract but never heard back after that. Would have appreciated a more engaging team.

a lot of care goes into the craftsmanship of the Highland home we purchased. when there were problems, they were addressed. no questions asked. they explained everything we needed to know.

Very responsive to any and all issues, very friendly staff, nice home. Overpriced considering the finishes, etc…the price of being in this area.

Working with Hector Duenas during sales negotiations and contract signature was very smooth. He was very helpful, responsive and solution oriented. Dealing with Highland Home Loans was not very pleasant. We had to work with 3 different people for several months. We asked 20% mortgage of the house value and at the last minute, 4 weeks prior to closing, our application was rejected which put us very stressful situation. There is a room to improve the screening & approval process at Highland Home Loans. In our case it should have taken 30 mins to accept or reject our application rather than months for a person with a basic financial knowledge. Our project manager Jonathan Mayfield was excellent. He explained us all civil & mechanical details related to the house, addressed any concerns or minor quality issues timely. He is very professional and supportive. It was a great pleasure working with Jonathan. There are few things to improve on quality & layout in or around the house. Such as AC unit blocks the entrance to the backyard, fireplace does not have installed igniter. ... Más

Buying experience was awesome….Highland Homes are great homes as expected with their modern designs…our construction manager Juan is great with helping us with any questions as needed…the closing date was on time or earlier as promised….overall we are very happy with our builder Highland Homes and would highly recommended to future buyers

This is to be our final home to retire in and it was important that it was built the way we wanted it and with quality. So glad we chose Highland! Everyone on their team has been fantastic from beginning to end. Avery Turek was an awesome salesperson. She saw our vision of what we wanted and worked hard to get us what we needed. Once building, Whitaker took over and took us through to the end. Sure there were bumps in the road along the way but Highland always stepped in and made things right. From the beginning, working with Highland Homes was so seamless. Our consultant Haleigh was so responsive and helpful in walking us through the various floor plans and add on options to build a home that was perfect for us. Once we landed on the Middleton plan, we were connected with our project manager Robbie. Robbie is fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and thorough. He sent us weekly email updates and was very responsive to questions/concerns. Our only area of concern was after we closed on the house. We had a few areas to touch up during our final walk and the crew sent in lacked attention to detail and some aspects felt rushed. The concrete in our front entrance was a different color, plaster on the gutters, paint on floors, etc. Overall, this did not tarnish our experience because the home is beautiful and Robbie has been so responsive to our concerns and made proper repairs and touch ups. Overall experience has been pretty good. Any issue has been addressed quickly. Some issues can not be remedied. Hanging a flush mount mirror on a curved wall (where it is supposed to be straight) presented challenges. Some walls/trim were installed without a chalk line or an L square and because floor tiles are true, it is apparent. It does not affect function of wall, just appearance.

Over all this experience of building and buying our new home has been very good! The house was built very quickly, two months sooner than expected. We are very pleased with our new home.

The build process was great, seamless process. The only issue I had is I didn’t get the exact paint trim on the exterior of my home.

Highland was very responsive during the home buying process and quickly resolved any concerns identified on our walkthroughs. We've had a couple months in our house now with no issues and are very content.

We bought an inventory home in the Bel Air Village from Highland Home. First, Highland Home's craftsmanship is unmatched regardless of which community you go to. We purchased the Ellington floor plan and we really love it. The home purchase process was very seamless. We have been in the house for about two months and haven't had any major issues. The first issue we encountered was that the house wasn't heating up and it was very cold at night but Miguel was very helpful and sent us the right contact for it to get fixed quickly.

Me and my family had to relocate to Texas, and we had a ton of anxiety as well as concerns about how quickly we can move into a new home. However, we worked with a local realtor and they identified a location in Rockwall where a house was due to be completed in December. We reached out to the agent, and she was very accommodating and connected with the project manager that was working the house. After a couple of months, they were very responsive to all of our requests and assisted us where needed. After much research and looking at other new and remodeled homes in the area we found this builder to have exceptional value. All the extra details in building and finishing out the home went above and beyond any other builders in the area. The whole process went so smoothly and we were always kept up to date with progress, delays, and what to expect next in the process. The app is a great resource for buyers and owners!

The quality of the house is awesome. I am very pleased and had no problems. Everyone was very professional.
