Building a home with Highland Homes has been a great experience for us. Despite all the supply chain issues, our project stayed on track and our builder, Chris, was very responsive to our questions and to any issues which arose. We love our new home, and we’re pleased with the options and upgrades we chose. We have a few minor issues, but having built a home before, we know those are to be expected and we have every confidence they will be addressed by Chris and his great team of sub contractors.

On my first visit to the sales office, Hunter was able to knowledgeably answer all my questions- a crucial factor in my decision process. He remained responsive throughout the process offering design ideas that truly enhanced the home. I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with Joseph as the CM from start to finish. The true test in any project of this magnitude is to observe how someone handles the inevitable challenges. Joseph was always the calm in the eye of the storm exhibiting professionalism and respect throughout. He was keenly aware that this particular build represented more than just a house. He instinctively said and followed through on the right things at the right time. In fact, I felt he treated this build as if it were his own. We've had several things thast aren't pleasing but our PM has been right on top of them. Getting subs here to correct has and is an issue. Your cleaning crew, in my opinion, does not do a great job. We've been battling a floor issue here since the walk thru and still waiting. Getting closer but still not complete. Very frustrating at best. Your electrical company too can be frustrating. Takes them too long to respond if they respond at all. WHen one pays for this level of home, there are certain expectations. You all need to hone in on your subs and contractors doing it right the very first time. Am I disappointed in some areas? Absolutely!! Quality of workmanship is not all that great.

We liked the highland home quality and their service. home has all the nice material used with granite counter top. One thing we are not happy with it with minor details that can be improved in workmanship like loose connections, visible gaps in some of the portion of patio which can be home of insects.

The Highland sales team was very attentive. We never 2nd guessed our choice to hire them or to purchase their product. The building process was 90% smooth, and where we ran into a slowdown, it was resolved as soon as the vendor made the right product available. Although he was VERY busy, our building coordinator made time for us as best he could. We never felt neglected. When building this many homes, there are certain to be minor workmanship issues, but we have 12 months to work those out!! Happy with Highland!

Great communication, trustworthy and great price/value relationship

The home buying process was a little overwhelming but we are loving our new home now that it’s over. We live in a neighborhood with several builders and Highland homes is what we always hear people recommend. In our experience they were professional, used good materials and worked on some great finishes. The layout is extremely convenient and many details within the home such as electric, piping, storage, etc, were just planned in an efficient manner, they didn’t ask us and we didn’t think of those but now that we have the home is clear they knew what they were doing. Due to supply chain issues they did have to replace some of our options, but for the most part they stayed true to the items and styles we picked when designing the house. Price wise it falls more on the higher end and within our neighborhood we’ve seen some beautiful houses from other builders at much more affordable price. Personnel - sales, project manager, financing - were all responsive, responsible, professional and transparent, even after closing. ... Más

Overall a good choice for my family

From our first interaction with Thea, who sat with us for hours to spec out a home that we weren't even sure we would build, to working with her partner Patti that would provide updates just as often as Thea, to our construction manager Ryan that came in toward the end of the build but got things done to get us to the closing table, to the project manner Tanner that escalated issues as necessary, every single person that we worked with was top notch x2! We've built homes before but Highland Homes is leaps and bounds better than any builder we've worked with. No build is perfect...there will be things that pop up but our Highland Homes team addressed those things as they came up. Overall experience is great. Love my new house.

We bought our Highland home at a crazy time and knew we overpaid for our home. After move in, we began to notice “the little things” that we had not seen with other builders in our modest price range. When we began to receive utility bills we took note of the efficiency of our systems. I could go on and on but our experience with Rayshell our sales person and Jordan our coordinator made this an easy transition in not so easy time. We were told our home would be ready in September and we moved in July 18. Thanks to all who made our downsizing and transition enjoyable.

Great experience with Highland Homes, the quality of the build was second to none!

This is my 3rd house to build and I can say it has been the best build of all. Scott was great in all aspects of the process. Highly satisfied with him and Highland.

We have had great experiences with everyone we come in contact with at Highland homes. Ms. Dorothy is a great sales woman with wealth of experience who helped work us through our home buying process, Brody is a great builder and always available to anwser questions and alleviate any fears. Doug and his team were also great and made the loan experience more easy than any other home buying experiences we have had in the past. We are enjoying our home and look forward to unwinding at our home after a long days work. Thank you so much.

Our buying experience was truly awesome! The sales associate provided all the required information for us to make an informed decision. The design center person was not as helpful as I preferred. All of our interactions with the builders have been remarkable and extremely positive. I would strongly recommend purchasing a home with the Highlands family.
