Great client centric, build craftsmanship, and very responsive

After having two other homes built in different states by different builders, our experience with Highland has, by far, been the best. Working with Brandon has been a dream as he has been super responsive and very on top of taking care of our issues. We are most grateful and will definitely recommend Highland to everyone looking for a new home!

High quality workmanship, good response from sales representatives, Project Manager was exceptional, loved the Architecture. Negatives were that 3 of the 6 bathrooms were in the first 300 sq ft of house and many interior doors were too narrow. Great service and fast response time after closing to fix a few small repair items. Overall great experience.

I had a great experience buying my Highland home in Heritage Ranch. The sales team answered all my questions and were very helpful. I am pleased with the quality of my home. Any issues were addressed in a timely manner and resolved.

i built my home & picked all finishes from start to finish, sales team was great, very helpful over & over , project manager was on top of his game , design team was very well organized & helpful with picking choices for my home . great experience all around .

We love our new home and everything about it. Our one true concern was some lack of focus on the details concerning the installation of grout, caulk, and paint throughout the house. We have noticed gouges in the seems throughout the house where there was lack of attention. Dustin has been great in addressing every issue to insure our new home is 100%.

She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and really took the time to understand our needs. Never once did we feel pressured to make a decision—we always felt supported. Everyone at the Austin office was equally kind and helpful, making the process smooth and stress-free. A special shoutout goes to Lane, our construction manager, who kept us in the loop every step of the way. He provided detailed weekly updates during the build and was always quick to answer any questions we had. My wife and I began looking at homes about a year ago and met Amy (Sales consultant) for the first time there; after that meeting, Amy worked tirelessly to find us our forever home. It has everything we had ever wanted in a home and more! The building supervisor D’Marco was amazing and extremely responsive to any questions we had or any help needed. The overall process from touring to the finalized purchase was extremely smooth and would recommend highland homes to anyone who is on the fence for a builder.

I had a great experience purchasing a home from Highland Homes. I think it’s great value for the bucks paid compared to other high-end builders. My building manager Trey is one of the best. This was my first home-buying experience and he really made the transition seamless during the walkthrough and handover process. The team is also very responsive in addressing any challenges or issues identified.

Kira and Mike were great throughout the home buying process. They made it seamless for us and made sure all our requests were fulfilled on time. Mike is very responsive and made sure we understood everything about the home and was always available to help us with our questions and requests. Highly recommend him! Apart from that, the only feedback we have is the quality of wood used for doors. It chips easily so maybe it would be better to have more sturdy wood.

With the paint there are some small problems but the rest the seller was very friendly and excellent. I am happy.

The sales office at Saddle Star was amazing. They helped us during our build and made sure everything was taken care of. All issues were followed up on until they were completed to our satisfaction.

Boyd and Jimmy did what they promised to do to make buying from Highland trustworthy! I Love my new home!

Good value. Level of paint could be improved.

The people i mentioned above were great to work with. Answers to our questions seem to come with ease and quickly. Problems were nonexistent. Slight problems that existed with the property were handled in a timely manor. The property itself I'm satisfied is of good value and quality of workmanship is quit good. Closing was a bit disturbing, the drive to plano for people of our age could be troublesome for some. Overall experience I'd rate a 12 out of 10.

waiting for follow-up visit to answer some concerns. lawn sod is not bouncing back as promised - some gaps between sod pieces. glue on floor boards not adequately cleaned up.

From the time Karen was introduced to Tony, our Highland sales counselor, all the way through our home buying process we had a fantastic experience! He was both very personal as well as professional in all his dealings with us, communicating in a timely and thorough manner. Later, when our house went under construction we began working with Jack, our construction manager. He was an excellent communicator utilizing e-mails, texts, and phone calls to update us on progress and address any questions or concerns we had. This was especially helpful to us as we were living in another state during construction. We felt like Jack was genuinely concerned with our desires related to our house and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we ended up with a house we were thrilled with. Overall the buying experience with HH has been good. The sales team as well as the project manager have been very cooperative and always heard our concerns. Todd, Ivonne and Dillon were always helpful. I cannot say the same with HH third party vendors whether it is low voltage or high voltage. A well linked document tracking with all changes is something HH can improve upon. It wasn't easy to track. Construction quality was good but painting needs significant improvement. I still see lots of patches across the inside walls. Unimportant, but it would have made a huge difference, normally, all builders give a nice hamper (chocolates, wine , hand towels with our names) at the time of closing. No such thing was provided. We had great experience with the Highland home sales person towards closing and with the walkthrough with the construction manager. The staff has been responsive and helpful in taking care of any issues that came up. We have bought homes in the past but but we would rate our experience with Highland Homes too notch!

We've had several opportunities to work with Highland Homes, this being the first home we completed with them, and our experiences with them have been harmonious and impressive. They go over and above in many ways, and we know first hand that other large builders would not offer the same. The biggest problem we did encountered was with the design center and the selection of certain home items. The kitchen cabinets were far darker than they appeared in the design center but Highland Homes very graciously offered some alternatives that met the need perfectly! For this we are so grateful! There were other little issues with the design center where more guidance was needed but not provided but should we do this again, we will know to do our own research and get more information before deciding. We've built homes before and did not have this issue so this was a learning experience. The only other things I would mention have to do with communication with the sales team. They were always very cheerful and ready to help but some key information was not given to us until we were fully committed to this property and house. Such as the extent of lawn and landscape that we are responsible for involves common areas outside our lot. Areas that, in our experience, had always been cared for by the HOA in those communities. The HOA here while being far more expensive does not care for these areas and the restrictions on said landscape are nonnegotiable. We felt this was very poorly handled and unfair to us. There have been some disappointments in other things with work by their sub contractors. Sprinkler system, lawn and tree health and growth. Quality of some of the workmanship that sub contractors have had to return to correct or fix. But this has been addressed quickly by Highland Homes with plenty of follow up by the builder to ensure our satisfaction. The quality and uniqueness of this and our appreciation for it cannot be over stated. Over all we have had a very good experience with Highland Homes and would build with them again. ... Más
