Muy feliz con nuestra primera Highland Home. Nuestro representante de ventas, Laurie, ayudó con la selección del lote, la orientación de la casa y se esforzó por que obtuviéramos el mejor valor. No hay muchas opciones en artefactos de iluminación "baratos" (pero no económicos), es necesario agregar 1/4 de ronda en la base en pisos de madera y baldosas y no solo grandes juntas de calafateo. Lo mismo ocurre con el extremo de la loseta de la pared, hay varias formas de rematar el extremo de la loseta además de las juntas grandes de masilla. ¡La mano de obra general de la casa fue excelente!

Nuestra experiencia de compra de vivienda fue excelente. Lisa, Rich y Nunnie fueron excelentes al llevar a mi familia a nuestra casa en Parkside.

Muy satisfecho con Gracie la representante de ventas y su ayuda durante el proceso de compra de la vivienda. También aprecio el servicio y la atención a los detalles recibidos de Matt y su equipo con Highland Hipoteca.

Highland ha respondido muy bien a nuestras necesidades. Hemos estado un poco decepcionados con algunos problemas de mano de obra, aunque Highland ha respondido a todas nuestras solicitudes y ha solucionado todo lo que solicitamos. Esta es la primera vez que construimos una nueva casa, por lo que es posible que nuestras expectativas fueran demasiado altas.

Overall was a good experience. They changed the construction managers several times and there was no communication among them. I had to repetedly communicate the same thing again and again when a new manager is assigned. Sales rep was great and provided all necessary information and answees our questions

The buying experience was excellent, but days later after we closed started seeing a lot of issues. The biggest issue was our backyard not draining very well and started killing the grass and Highland didn’t want to do anything about it, saying they don’t warranty against puddles, but they weren’t ordinary puddles. However, they did finally fix the issue. The other major issue had to do with our glass back door. It has scratches in the glass that Highland will not fix, because it’s cosmetic. I know that we didn’t put the scratches there, it happened during the build. We missed it during our final walk through, because the builder concentrated us on the inside of the home. Highland did not due a thorough inspection. Definitely spent the money for an inspection!!!! We deserve our back door fixed because we did not do that, but they will not! ... Más

i have noticed many cracks in my home mainly at the window corners. they gave me a colour but still its brand new home. there should not be even one spot to criticize. door locks were all loose, door lock is not aligned properly, if you call them for repair they show in time.

Still have some outstanding issues with no response.

It was a great experience with few errors and hiccups but resolved after the closing.

Highland homes are nice homes. I closed on my home three weeks before I moved in. I went over the "punch" list and left a key for the workers to complete it before I moved in. A lot of the things were not completed and I am still waiting for it to be done over 6 weeks later. The cleaning of the home was sub-par. Attention to detail was horrible. You would think for the price you pay, it would have been better. I love my home but expected better customer service.

Highland Homes was really great throughout the home buying process. The quality of the workmanship in Wildridge with this homebuilder is not what we expected. We built with Highland in another community and everything was great! We expected the same experience and that didn't happen. There have been so many "issues" The "issues" are not with Highland but the Trades people Highland has chosen to use in this community. The trades people Highland uses are what have caused the "issues" . It would seem as though the "issues" we are experiencing could have been avoided if the Trades people would communicate better with the Highland People ... Más

Eva was amazing to work with and even stayed late when our lender was late sending documents

George is slow to responses and he forgets tasks. We had to remind him of things he promised to fix not once or twice and even had to inform him we would inform his boss.

Buying experience was great. Getting things resolved now after the fact has been a task.

The purchase experience was excellent. There have been some hiccups in getting warranty work scheduled and completed. Overall the customer service is good.

Elder is the man! Great salesman and even better person.

Hello, we had high expectations as to the quality of home and work it will be done to the home we bought in detail from wall caulking to door paints etc. The drain was already clogged in master. No proper inspection is done. Builder claims someone came after their inspection and dumpped some garbage so funny. I asked for report showing the master bath is inspected. The water does to the corner and stacks the board they are using is not level this is very basic to make sure to turn on the water in the shower and make sure it properly drains and doesnt stack in the corner. They clearly failed and now they want to break everything up and reopen the base and properly level it and redo the tile work on the walls and rehook up the door this is just nuisance in the middle if school year. My husband and I chose Highland Homes because, in the past, we have had great experiences with the builder. Our experience in the building process was very good, but once we moved in, we learned that there are things that were done poorly that will not be fixed because they're not "warrantable items." It is disappointing that things are breaking and materials aren't of the quality that we paid and now we have to deal with it. Our builder representative is amazing, realistic, honest, and responsive so we have no complaints there. But with what we paid for the house, the materials and work should have been better. ... Más

Sales process was easy. My sales consultant did a great job. The home is beautiful. We got everything we wanted. Now, the attention to the little details is HORRIBLE. There are so many things that need to get fix that if the workers would have been paying attention, it would have gotten done correctly the 1st time. Now, I'm having to take time away from my week to be here for repairs. It's ridiculous and very annoying.

Hello, Overall, my house is great. It's the construction around my house. Currently, two highland homes are being built by me. The construction workers are messy (leaving mud prints all over my driveway) and play loud music during evening times (after 6 pm) Please fix this.

The buying process was great

We had a Highland Home in San Antonio from 2010 to 1018. We were extremely pleased with the builder and his attention to detail. I believe largely because of the great number of houses being built and issues with obtaining materials that in some cases cheaper materials were used, but we also had a couple of substitutions that were in higher categories as well. Highland has been responsive in working the punch list for warranty items since we moved in 9/1. All in all, we are pleased with the home, but the experience was different than our first Highland Home.

The devil is in the details. There are many details that did not get addressed by the construction manager. Lawn isn’t level lots of bumps which cause low spots when mowing, wood floors have hollow spots, grout in master, pencil lines on tile, smudges on paint on the ceiling and higher areas, when appliances (back ordered) were installed the damaged the trim and the wall paint, breaker for Christmas light flips back to the middle, kitchen drawer doesn’t soft close like it should. After reading the reviews for highland I was excited to build with them but I am a little disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship. ... Más
