Great experience with Anita and Jarred. Jarred was quick to address and fix and issues or concerns we had.

Highland homes has quality workmanship but it truly comes down to who your builder is (your person running the show). Some care a lot and some could care less. So after you pick your builder (Highland, Pulte, DR Horton, etc).....then you need to fully vet the guy who will be running the show and ask around.

My home was beautifully built. We love it.

Our builder, Ian was great and is still helping us. Our sales person, Dolly was amazing and did anything to help. The design center was the only part in the process that was less than satisfactory. If you work with Holly, please come with all your design ideas and make sure you ask about everything in the house. She left a lot out for us.

He is overextended with too many homes but he does a great job with the time he has

The building manager, Giovani, was wonderful with the home building process. He was accessible, knowledgeable, open minded, flexible and helpful. He made the home building process not just easy, but fun for us as buyers. He addressed our concerns quickly and educated us about many things along the way. The suggestions and recommendations he made were things we are really grateful for after we moved in.

We were pleased overall with our building experience with Highland Homes. There were some quality of workmanship issues with some of the finishing crews at the end of our build, but our builder was helpful in trying to resolve those issues. Some have been resolved, and others still have a resolution being worked towards. That part has been very frustrating for a new homeowner.

This was my second time buying a home and it went very smooth. This was the first time I've had to sell a house and buy at the same time. Highland Homes was very flexible by allowing me ample time to sell our previous home, and was understanding when it took a little longer than expected during the COVID pandemic. Ethan was easily the best part of the buying experience. He was extremely responsive and transparent about the whole process.

Highland was very responsive when we had an issue needing repair. They followed up to ensure the problem was resolved.

We love our highland home! The first builder project manager we had did not send updates and we didn’t feel included in the building process. We had several glitches through the finance and closing processes with document recording, closing dollar amount, holding keys at closing over $50 that was a quality review issue on the title and finance side and last minute upgrades that had to be installed. When Jesse came in and took over near closing he has treated us not only fairly but has gone above and beyond to ensure everything in our home is satisfactory for us. The best thing has been no issues (except bad thermostats which were promptly replaced by the builder) after closing. Highland builds a quality house, and they back up their work.

As with anything there will be issues. Highland does go above and beyond to make sure that you, the customer is satisfied and happy with your purchase. Can’t say that about too many other builders.

I had a very good experience with the entire team. Chad is very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to help you during the process. Sean kept me updated throughout the building process. Anytime I have a question, he responds promptly. I had very good experience with the title company as well.

Quality builder. responsive. trustworthy people.

During my walk through, I had addressed a few issues as well as poor paint job. The subcontractors removed the tape and did not address most of the issues. Now due to COVID I can’t get the subcontractors to come back and address the issues that should’ve been taken care of before closing.

Overall, my experience was good. I decided to use an outside vendor for one of my walls to add collapsible doors and I wasn't able to install the doors before I closed, which would have been helpful for me as I had to pay to demo a brick wall which was 3-4K.

Good area and neighborhood

The Sales Person was a 9/10 from first impression to follow through on the zillion change orders we had was impressive. Consistent and Clear communication as well. Very pleased with our experience from that department. Construction Mgr was very friendly, accommodating on different fronts and solid communicator. Frustrations: Construction Mgr was changed after the first Pre-Con Meeting thus creating a lag in construction time for start. This put the project back 4-6 weeks which was trying for the Construction Team and stressful for us. We felt our Mgr had too many projects going at once and many things were missed, not supervised, and incomplete thus requiring numerous meetings and 're-dos'. I feel the quality of the home would be more than we received if Mgr had more time to walk our home more consistently and do QA inspections on his Teams. although we had struggles at times, I enjoyed the working relationship with the MGR and feel the MGR's priorities to make us happy are appropriate. The only flaw in my house, the installation isn't thick enough I can hear my kids playing or talking even though room is on the other side of the house.

Love the home, but due to COVID, they took very long to come and fix a few issues with our home. Still waiting on things that haven’t been taken care of.

Jamie and Nick have been great they do excellent job. Been great experience but have notices some of the construction such as island seems to have been rushed for assembly. installation of small things such as door knobs are not installed adequately but fixed. Attic area is in Canterbury has safety issue, the builders do not put sufficient stepping area when going up attic ladder so there is potential for falling due to 45 degree step up to AC unit. Recommend builder at least put one plywood in attic on alternate side of attic ladder for safety.

Very pleased with our home. Very comfortable and satisfied. Surprised there were no spouting on rear roof over patio. That should not be an option; it is as essential as spouting on front roof.

The overall house is good. Some of the work seems to have been rushed through. Little things here and there are not what I would call great but satisfactory.
