We've had an excellent experience with Highland Homes from start to finish. The service has been exceptional even after closing, which really sets them apart. Tina was fantastic throughout the purchase process-knowledgeable, responsive and great to work with. Juan has also been terrific handling any post-closing items quickly and professionally. This is not our first new home experience but it has definitely been the best.

Buying process was very streamlined and organized. As first time home buyer I don't know what I don't know so having someone from Highland walk us through the home was great. Juan made the process easy and made sure all of our questions were answered. Him and Tina are both great and easy to work with!

We’ve had a fantastic time with highland since buying a spec home in late 2025. We feel like we got a great deal for where the market was and the team was very easy to work with. Lots of times with new builds and specs in general you walk in and feel like you have to be your own inspector. It’s hard for people to trust specs as they can’t watch the entire process. The items we found during our walkthroughs were all small cosmetic and even our third party inspector only found a small issue that was fixed quickly. We’ve watched hundreds of new builds between the two homes we’ve had in this area over the last decade and have been impressed with highlands contractors. They actually ensure the work is done to spec the first time and not waiting for an owner to find an issue. They also keep their job sites really clean which matters when dozens of homes are going up. Post move in any issue or question we had, Lane and team answered quickly and to our satisfaction. To date (6-9 months in) we’ve only had one small trim issue which I think speaks to the quality. We’ve also enjoyed seeing the team around the neighborhood almost daily and always like checking in their new builds and how things are going. They truly care for their owners post close which is also a rarity. We’re currently renting a home in Conroe, Texas, and have really come to appreciate its white painted brick, high ceilings, and open floor plan. As we began searching for our retirement home in the Texas Hill Country, we visited Lakeside at Tessera and toured a model home. From the moment we walked in, we loved the views and instantly felt at home. When we learned the model was for sale, it felt like the perfect opportunity—and we decided to purchase it. Interestingly, we later discovered that our rental home is also a Highland home with a very similar floor plan. That connection made us even more confident in our decision. We’ve been extremely impressed with the quality of construction and attention to detail. Throughout the process, Construction Manager Ross and Sales Consultant Branka have been outstanding—responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. They’ve made the entire experience seamless and have provided valuable recommendations for local services to help us get settled. From the first step into the model home, Jessica perfectly balanced being available to answer questions with giving us space to explore. Jessica was always responsive through our whole process and quick to share details for any requests that we made. Jessica organized meetings for us when we were considering changes to the carpet. Jessica made us feel like we were her top priority. Adam, our construction manager, was thorough and proactive. Once we got closer to closing, Adam handled the meetings throughout the final stages. If I had a question of a concern, Adam would follow-up and make sure any corrections were completed. Adam also spent time helping me understand features of the house that were different from my previous homes and had on hand contacts with venders for any future needs I might have. We love our home and would highly recommend Highland homes as a builder. The quality of the build was top notch, and we appreciated D'Marco responding immediately to any issues we encountered after taking the keys. He did not hesitate to address any of our issues and that is not common for new builds. Highland takes pride in their work, and it clearly shows. Additionally, Amy was fantastic to work with and she was there to support us through the purchasing process and addressed any questions we had. I purchased a home that was part of the inventory so I didn't get to pick the various finishes or work with the team over the course of several months, but I felt like everyone went above an beyond to help get me settled. I was especially impressed with the team's help and follow up as various events occurred after purchase, like an ice storm and locking myself out of my vehicle. In a day in age where a lot of purchasing feels transactional and impersonal, I'm so grateful for that Highland Homes treats its customers like real people.

I have a serious finance background and she covered all of my questions with confidence that comes from experience.
