experience was good Pam, loan officer Brad and Super attended Rick were A+ service. quality still need to be improved but KB is taking care of the issues that we found

lacking quality of build. no interior insulation - you hear everything from the next rooms , especially from the bathrooms and kitchen. Very sloppy!! You get what you pay for.

I'm so frustrated with overall build quality issues and non responsiveness to the reported issues for warranty. Never going to buy a KB Home again.

Expected better response to issues in regards to the home when we received keys. But once you get your keys to your home it’s up to the home buyer to constantly be on it, or your issues will be forgotten.

It would be great if could stay a week or two to check over everything before signing. So you can see what need to be fixed or more attention received

We’ve had several concerns and building issues. Overall, most have been corrected or at least addressed.

I love my home. The location was the reason I purchased the home. I have been disappointed with repairs. Most are minor fixes yet are still not completed and I have been in my home for over 60 days. I am not pleased with the quality of my air conditioning in my home. It is suppose to energy friendly and well insulated. Which it is but at a cost of 2 bedrooms being hotter then the rest of the house. The air conditioning company telling me this is normal? They need to work on the function of the home. It looks pretty but it also needs to function. You need to put the toilet paper holder in spot you can reach. The gas line is at my bedroom window, who is going to grill in front of their bedroom window? No place for trash cans? You have to drag through a ton of stones and it is hard on feet/back. Paint indoors is flat, anything touches it and it leaves a mark. They offer a free touch-up but the guy never calls you back, so I gave up and did it myself. I am not that happy. ... Más

Bad response on issues. Very late response even after multiple follow up.

New construction house still can find several things need to be reworked/ repaired. Ex. ceiling LED lights falling, missing cabinet shelf, drill holes, uneven wall, leaking sprinkler, and crack driveway due to the Community concrete work.

There is lack of communication among employees. Very poor response when it comes to fixing issues.

I wish I could have given a better rating but I have to be honest about this review. In my opinion, the construction material is not the greatest quality. We noticed a few things since moving in, such as our front door does not feel secure. A corner of the front door near the lock is cracked, and someone used something like clay to patch the crack. The front door pops open a little even when the door is locked. The lock does not turn completely to assure the lock won’t reopen. The front door feels like hard plastic instead of real wood. The door in the master bathroom does not close unless you try lifting the door. Also the kitchen outlets does not work. Most door knobs lock counter clockwise which drives me crazy because I want to turn the locks clockwise. I gave home buying experience a 3 because there was a lot of miscommunication throughout the home buying Process with the financial department. I understand our initial consultation guy got laid off, so none of our initial issues are fixed. We are now in warranty and have had a major plumbing leak that we've already cut thru walls and have fans in our house for a week, not happy. I still have paint touch ups (inside&outside) nails sticking out, repaint in certain areas, recaulking around windows (sloppy job). Everyone at KB is nice, but getting no immediate help on getting my house 100% after sale.

Buildup materials are very good. Our property model was designed to cancel outside noise. Very quiet inside the house. Quality of workmanship should be double and triple checked for the general contractor and subcontractors. Upon occupancy of the property, we came across items that were damaged and loose fixtures. Painters failed to remove edging tapes, clean their areas, and windows were dirty. KB has a checklist during a walk-through. The company definitely can improve reliability of the subcontractors to keep them at a higher standard. A quality control or a checklist should be performed for each sub’s workmanship. Good color schemes

Customer service for work to be done was no show no call when maxs sent some out didn't all work need is still need won't return call work needed to done back door,fonrt entrance, garage door entrance ,water hose connector at this time I'm very disappointed in kbh

The house has a defect that we reported several times and nobody from kb seems to care and doesnt wanted to come fix it.

horrible workmanship. unfinished touches on the home. driveway and garage foundation already cracking before moving in amongst many other things. staff is nice but unfortunately building houses fast in mass equals low quality of the property.

I have a long thread of email responses back and forth with the construcmanager, not superintendents, in which I continually pointed out incorrect building of my home. Several issues were sloughed off only to be issues to delay closings. Items pointed out by my private insepcthave yet to be resolved and were pointed out 3 months ago, beforethe first scheduled cloing which the builder missed. The KB lender tried to swindle me out of $17k categorized as points when I received quotes from 2 other lender for zero points and lower interest rates quoted by the KB loan officer. The journey with KB has been a disappointing struggle which started one year ago and still continues to get post walk through items and pre-walk through items resolved to my satisfaction. I would love to have someone in corporate to contact me to discuss my experience and allow me to share my documentation along the way. ... Más

We have been in our house for about 3 months and have learned the speed with which they build translates into countless misses. And if you don't get them fixed before you close, good luck getting traction afterward. In 3 short months, we already have failing caulk (they don't fix caulk) an upgraded railing that has a large gap underneath (they won't fix it) and has had to be refinished once and still doesn't look good, subfloor glue all throughout my basement floor that they never removed, crooked drawers in the kitchen, numerous paint mismatches from the numerous "touch ups"that have occurred, and many more. Absolutely not happy at all and no one really gives a care. Cheap, nasty materials and even worse workmanship. Actions speak louder than words...still waiting for action. KB Home decided to push to have home site completed 6-8 weeks early. I voiced my concerns about corners being cut immediately. My concerns were not unfounded. Now, I'm expected to take time off of work for each individual sub contractor/vendor to come and fix what should have been done correctly in the first place; this is very costly. I have already paid a fortune for this house, why should it cost me more for it to be fixed under warranty??? Step up KB, and give me a delegate/representative that can escort the sub contractors/vendors for the repairs/warranty work that's necessary while I'm at work...or, do Saturday repairs. Buyer beware…Do not buy a KB Home. They are kings of bait and switch tactics. The property was a mess. The house was filthy as if someone already lived in our brand new home. Plumbing issues and scratched windows from day one. Dealing with KB’s customer service has been worthless and I am pretty sure everyone in my neighborhood feels the same way!

Issues still pending that were identified on the final walk. Contractors care very little for the material that is new, they drag cabinets, scratch countertops, force dry wall when curries not fit installed crack bath tub, chalking bad work, home dirty, no pressure wash of garage and sidewalk and driveway. My opinion house over priced for the workmanship. No pride in the work they do. Just waiting to see who calls to text and make right. Good Luck right?

Builder visit my house last month he say he come back next week and he never comeback for the repairing
