IN SHORT, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND KB AS A BUILDER. POOR QUALITY OVERALL IN EVERY AREA.

Before I gave a satisfied rate, everybody related my home was so nice and kind and took care of my complaint. However, after rating, they 1) IGNORE ME 2) BROKEN APPOINTMENT WITHOUT NOTICE OR EXCUSE 3) SENT WORKERS WITHOUT NOTICE OR INFORM EVEN VERY EARLY MORNING 4) TOOK ALMOST 4 MONTHS JUST SCUREWED SOMETHING 5) LET BROKEN MASTER BED WINDOW OPEN MORE THAN 2 MONTHS THAT ALLOWED CONSTRUCT DUST CAME INTO MY HOUSE. Finally, I give up complaint more, because I do not trust them and I do not have more energy to wait them.

We were provided unsatisfactory experience throughout the entire process, from initial purchase to final move-in. The quality of the workmanship and customer service were horrible! There is value of our new home because of the lot size and location I’m hesitant to trust the home itself has the value of what we paid due to lack of workmanship/customer service. Our experience with the builder’s team was that they severely lack communication and follow through as well as disregard homebuyers concerns. They never did what they promised and keep making excuses for it. They have never respond to us in a timely fashion. What I would like buyers to know most is that if they have to buy a home here they should use their own Lender and Realtor and ABSOLUTELY DO NOT attend the home orientation without their realtor or sign off on the “orientation” without ALL items in the home cleaned, scratches buffed out, drywall being in pristine condition as well as window and electrical being to your standards! ... Home was in pathetic condition at close. Horrible finish. What's worse is they have now become very unresponsive to the problems. There are more builders out there who at least have a shred of integrity.

Every corner you can possibly think of was cut, KB homes is one of the poorest quality homes I have seen. I'm missing full cabinets in the bathroom, fixtures are the cheapest ones from home depot, my shower curtain rod doesn't even have complete hardware. The door going from the garage into the laundry room., when it shuts, the entire wall flexes. That wall is also shared by the master bathroom and even the bathroom door twists. I have video of it doing it as well. We have also had 3 led puck lights go out since we moved in. We have also had a main condesate drain line leak all over a wall which we found out was never connected. And there is mold growing in that wall that was never replaced. They did everything they could to hide it. And now it's behind the wall which I've still have pictures of. Go over this house with a fine tooth comb. ... Más

Nothing but lies to extremely poor construction. Never again with KB!

Bad experience, bad service. There is still no orientation list even after more then 1 month of closing. Walls look terrible, backyard looks terrible, nothing was fixed

Would not recommend KB home for anyone.

There is a consistent lack of quality in both the materials used and the workmanship that went into the construction of this house . And trying to get the most basic items fixed has been a disaster. Again, they have over promised and under delivered.

Everything made disappointing.next time I'm not gana be with KB home

Very hard to get in touch to have issues fixed with the house. Was told it was a two car garage but only fits one. Have not hear back for a couple months about fixing that issue and other issues with my house

The sale of our home was rushed. This caused the builder to rush the construction. We have open items still pending. And have had to submit multiple warranty issues.

Our experience has been a rough one. Its been two months and our house still has a lot of work to be finished. People have been slow to repair anything at all and there are many issues that even though they were addressed nothing has happened. Overall my house still needs a lot of work.

Zero quality and building price are not fair, customer service rate is 2 out of 5. sale and finance are 5 star and helpful.

Sorry to say but don't buy from this builder my first time ever buying and it started off wonderful and then turned into a nightmare wish I could say otherwise very bad experience I will never recomendó or ever buy from this builder ever or again .

First time home buyer here and we were duped. Had multiple construction issues (wrong windows, plumbing issues, foundation not level, flooring issues, doorknobs falling off, cracked windows, windows off track) all in the first week of moving in. Customer service rep told us we were being unreasonable and then superintendent took over customer service and supervising construction. Horrible idea. You have to email and call and chase to get anyone to acknowledge your issues. Then you have to allow the same people who messed it up the first time to come back and mess it up again. Since I bought the house I still don’t have my garage key I called many times but nobody cares. I noticed some missing stuff nobody cares . I have a very bad experience with kb . The seller was the best one MR Severo

This has been the worst experience! As a first time home buyer, I would have never expected to have gone through such poor construction and customer service as I’ve experienced. I definitely don’t feel I’ve received the value of a $300,000 home. We’ve had nothing but one complication after another and it all started within the first 24 hours of moving in when we had a small flood in our laundry room because a pipe was disconnected. Then after that they discovered another one disconnected in the main sewer drain. In total my yard was dug up three times in three weeks to fix problems that should have been caught during inspections. I’ve had electrical issues, drainage, incomplete tile issues, paint issues, sink holes, and the list goes on and on. I don’t feel my foundation is safe! KB Homes took away all the joy of my first home purchase. I’ve reached out several times for someone at corporate to contact me. Why me? Why my house? Why so many issues? We had high hopes in the very beginning, but after KB got our non refundable $5000 things changed. We were treated rudely and couldn’t get straight answers for anything. After moving in we’ve had one problem after another. It doesn’t seem like anything can go smoothly. We’ve had someone out about our flooring 4 times and are still having major issues. KB told us in the buying process that they stand behind their build and products, but we’re feeling very letdown. We’ve had many issues with many !! Things some have been resolved and some haven’t.

I would stay clear from KB Home in Madera County CA because it doesn’t make sense to buy a new home that have so many damaged and missing items. I bought the top model and paid a lot for a lot of upgrades items, but a lot of it are damaged and are still missing. It’s a very aggravating new home buying experience. In light of this, maybe KB Home is different in different counties/states, but it’s very bad in Madera County CA thats for sure.
