KB has and still is delivering the home they promised to build us. We’re still in the beginning stage of ownership with them but their sales team and building manager are continuing to fulfill promised items and tasks. They are both readily available to assist with issues discovered after closing unlike so many other builders. We feel they truly want us to be completely satisfied. They have limitations due to materials/workers and have not made any false promises. We value their honesty.

My experience was very good with KB homes. Some Things were delayed but it’s pretty standard right now. I looked forward to the weekly phone calls and updates with Diane and JP. It made the process go much smoother and quicker for me. Waiting is hard, but in retrospect it wasn’t bad and worth the wait. I’m very happy with my new home.

My overall experience was good. Unfortunately due to covid communication had big gaps and prolonged delays.

There have been unresolved quality issues with the master bathroom since we moved when the house was inspected. Today after almost 1 month and a half living in the house, we couldn't have used the bathroom since we moved. There are still small unresolved issues but those still there after long time without being resolved properly.

KB has a good variety of floor plans and is focused on energy efficient homes which is a nice feature. You are limited on structural changes and upgrade items but overall it's a good value and well built home. They are easy to work with including their loan department and will work resolve any issues you may have.

KB office sales reps were great and very helpful. I was very pleased with KB until we moved. After moving in, I am waiting on things to be done on the house we moved into in Feb. No call backs from people and I have been calling for weeks now. We have had multiple no shows from the repair people so it has taken weeks to get minor things done and we still have other things needing attention. Also one of my upgraded items has not been installed and I keep getting the runaround on when this will happen. I don’t feel like I am getting the same treatment now that we have closed on the home.

KB tries to make sure your very happy with your purchase. Overall the house is solid but some attention to details would make it even better.

Overall I am happy with my home and any issues I’ve had, Cody has been awesome in resolving everything.

Be prepared on new communities and delays on mailboxes, internet cable phone

The experience was fairly easy and yes, the value of the house is unmatched as it is a new build. However, communication could have been better regarding a realistic timeline. We were originally told our move in date would be Oct - mid Nov but it could be delayed. Then, we were told it was delayed to December, then to beginning January, then to late January or early February. We finally closed at the very end of February. However, the originally timing of events communicated to us such as the pre carpet orientation / final walkthrough were all extremely rushed. The pre carpet orientation was supposed to be around 45 days before closing. However, this was only 2 weeks before closing. A couple days after, we were doing the final walkthrough. This happened because we had gotten word that we needed to close by the last week in February but this wasn't communicated to us until the beginning of February after having asked for weeks on end. ... Everything is perfect except the workmanship of the whole house (Like outlets, switches and paint) is a bit rough

I really enjoyed buying my first home with Kb. The buying process was weird so to me being remote most of the times. The major problems came with communication. It was times where I’d bring up an issue that myself or my lender needed an answer too and wouldn’t hear back for days. Also upon moving in there was and still is problem such as the appliances in my home that have not been addressed.

Nice neighborhood and good sized lots

The builder is very good when you check each stages of the building process in your house, if you forget anything you paid for during upgrades you will not get it in your house as they have so many houses they are building at the same time. Overall if you let them know what you paid for, you will get it in your house.

KB team provided great customer service and communication throughout the build process. Attention to detail in the initial planning and continuous communication was key to ensuring our home was built to plan and our expectations. We had two significant issues during our build. First was a three month closing date delay as a result of material supply chain and labor shortages. The second was quality of workmanship completed by contractors due to labor shortage. We feel the KB team did their best to provide us a quality, on time product. We would recommend KB.

Every does come together and make sure things are great for the clients, that’s make the big purchases! We live our forever home!

Overall I'm satisfied. The big problem was that It took very long time to finished the house, so I couldn't do my 1031 exchange.
