Overall experience was good. We felt like the support staff did the best they could even though their responsibilities were stretched with the COVID restrictions and amount of homes being built.

The Mortgage Loan Originator was amazing! When there was an issue (unfortunately there was an unusual amount), she helped fix it. She knew how to empathize with me during the home buying process and I have enjoyed working with her! I recommend that you request her by name if you are making a home purchase with KB Homes. KB Homes (for unknown reasons) has a ton of red tape that customers must go through before getting to the finish line but having someone like my Mortgage Loan Originator in your corner will help alleviate the pain. Thank you!

LeMonte has been a great contact during the entire building process and after we moved in. He checks in to see how we're doing and always so nice. I am happy we went with KB Home to be our first homebuyer / new construction experience.

Good Builder, just wished they did their due diligence in land surveys. To not hold up construction.

We love the value of the home but that can come with a price by some corners being cut. Then when you request help in fixing, silence!

They should slow down a bit to maintain the quality of the craftsmanship. They rushed just to get it complete and get paid. Understandable, but bad idea.

Construction process went well. Mortgage and closing was not good

At first any issues were fixed quickly but now it’s taking a long time to get things fixed. Our back patio cracked after living here about 1-2 weeks and no one has come out to fix that yet, as well as our front walkway crumbling at the corners. Then we discovered a leak in our kitchen window about 3 weeks ago and still waiting on someone to fix. About a week after closing we submitted a request due to the kitchen cabinets having numerous scratches, dents, and black markings on them. I did pay for the most expensive cabinet upgrade and am very disappointed with the quality of them. We also upgraded to vinyl plank flooring which was supposed to be durable, but we have already made multiple deep scratches from minimal use and no kids or pets. Price was very expensive and the quality isn’t there. Our bathtubs have red markings on them that I can not seem to remove no matter what I try, backsplash is cut uneven in some places and grout is sloppy. Caulking was done but sloppy. Trim work is pretty bad, almost every corner is cut wrong, and there are some areas with deep scratches on it that we’re never fixed. Also upon moving in they got hundreds (not even exaggerating) paint drips all over my floors that we had to crawl around and try to scrape up, and even 2 months later we still have paint drips on the floor. I’m growing frustrated now that things are taking a long time to get fixed, and the longer we live here the more little imperfections I find and grow annoyed with. ... Más

We love the community and overall the home. We also really like the location. We have a hard time understanding why we were given false info on flood zone. Whether it’s going to be remapped or not, upper management has stated it will be. The correct info should be given to the homebuyer.

Overall, the buying experience left a little to be desired. We had multiple salespeople and none of them were top notch. The individual that we met with in the design studio was great. The design studio could of had more options but overall still made some good picks. Our superintendent was awesome and very helpful. He made our home buying experience better than anyone else we dealt with. If we had to go back, we are not sure we would purchase from KB again, but we do love our home. Gave them 4 stars because our superintendent made up for other areas that were lacking.

as the home owner I had to stay on top of the builder. They lacked supervision

I had an overall good experience except for when i needed to communicate with the financial consultant. He would take days to respond to messages. After moving in when repairs needed to be made it was annoying to have different people come in different days rather than have all the repair me come out on the same day which meant i had to get multiple days off work. And some worker would not even show up on the day they were scheduled.

Ontario is good for stay.

Sales, design, closing and construction staff were all great to work with. In a pandemic year prohibiting in person contact, we had to make many design and construction decisions from afar. Not the best way to do things, but we got them done with the support of the KB Home staffers. Most all glitches and construction issues were corrected and solved under the direction of the construction supervisor.

The home is great, the neighborhood is great, and we got everything we asked for. However during and after the closing process it extremely difficult to get anyone to address our concerns (closing documents, needed small repairs/overlooked flaws, etc.).

Attention to detail could use improvement.

I bought an inventory house so many things I can not say anything even very weird design and people sale people just answer me 《 someone ordered this house that way 》 but very weird issue for example Outlet power did not work any button on the walls when I installed fans I can use only remote control but they told me someone ordered to build this way so why we stupid to pay and build all button off and on the lights and fans on the walls?? Why? Or another sample outside under the roof we got 3 corners got outlet power for camera system and they missed one corner front right side I showed them and asked for help they also defensed people designed this way so we can not do the 4th one for you Cable outlet for TV only master room and living room got outlet. 3 others room did not have outlet! 3 others builders around showed me it was standardized nowadays Well I paid 20 000 usd to get kb house more than other 3 builders around same zone same square feet 1700 but quality was worse and old design more than them if I paid 233000 to buy a house at Ryan builder I got full upgraded back Patio tiles sinks fans wsher dryer all set Well I learned a big lesson to buy first house then Too late to say anywords ... We love our new home. however there's been some issues and trying to get the builder to take care of it in a timely manner is proving to be difficult.
