My experience was great until it came down to closing. The title person handling my home was a pain. She wouldn't get on the portal that my lender had setup for all paperwork to go to one place. She was uncooperative on that part. Certain things that could have and should have been paid at closing they wanted paid up front. Anything that KB Homes tell you as far what they provide. Be sure to get it in writing

Angelina, the sale person is an angel, very knowledgeable and helpful. Treat my buying like hers, very kind and caring. House is good, wish there is more bathroom compare to amount of bedroom. WILL NOT buy through KBHS loan -very pleasant in the beginning but very dishonest. Make you to sign and says she will fix but continue to drag with same price. NEVER EVER sign something that you didn't agree.

Overall experience was good. The construction team is excellent and responsive

I believe since my community was brand new, I experience unusual circumstances. My move-in was delayed by 2 1/2 months due to now power available to the community when I finally moved in no cable or Internet was available for a month and a half however the sales team was amazing so I can’t penalize them for any mishaps I feel next time, the builder should communicate with the city, and make sure everyone is on the same page so that all the utilities and amenities are available

I was so excited to be a new homeowner at Valencia Fivepoints. My realtor Rolanda did an amazing job helping us find our new home. She went above and beyond to make sure our deal got closed. I just wish some to the KB representatives made us feel the same way as Rolanda did. She made us feel like we belong in this community and our goal of being a homeowner was valued. Rolanda is definitely a gem for KB Home.

Jeff, Daniel , Paula and Belinda turned a frustrating buy into a very good buy due to there professionalism and caring attitude towardsour needs. They completely saved the day when they took over our loan. I"ve never had anything but good things to say about these four individuals.

Loan process was extremely repetitive, asking for the same documents submitted by more than 10 times. Even though everything was uploaded in KB portal, most individuals didn’t bother to look and asked for my personal/Bank/W2/Loan documents via email. KB portal seemed to have no purpose, even though we were made to believe to upload all our documents in. Design studio was great and so was Steve who worked with us after our home was done.

Thomas was great to work with and very responsive to our needs and concerns Others should know that build time did not meet times that were promised

Overall good experience. I love my home.

The biggest dismay I had was in the time stated between closing date and when it actually occurred, which was about 4 1/2 months later than was stated to me. This of course lead to unforseen expenses both in storage and lodging for the unexpected amount of time which passed. Closing dates were moved 4 times before it actually happened. Hotel expenses are high. Also, better quality control upon completion of home is desired, i.e. cleaning up paint on floors where it bled over, making sure there are no cracks in light switch hardware, tighten bolts as needed to avoid repairwork within a short time after closing date. Also, window screens were missing and put in after move-in date by the home buyer, these kind of finishing touches were missing and desired by new homeowners ... Más

We went into contract February 2022 with a promise of a completed home in May or June. It took until the end of September until our home was delivered and only after us calling and going to the managerial staff. We still have repair issues that are unresolved. Also KB puts such a low fence in the backyard that you can see into your neighbors windows. We are disappointed that a privacy fence was not part of our package. This is a $800,000 plus home that should have included that out of respect for the homeowners privacy. We love the house but are very disappointed. Our house did not have the upgrades we selected at the studio. We realized that only after closing. They haven't fixed it yet and is delayed for ever. Rest everything is good so far.

Sales person and building superintendent were great to work with.! The VA lending process was hard! Lending officer’s were helpful in straightening that out!! Thank you to all.

I knew purchasing a new home will come with a few bumps and bruises and roadblocks, but all in all, it was good. A few minor things that needed to be worked on but Kasey has been on it to make sure it has or will be repaired.

Make sure you view construction carefully. A lot of issues still with house. Some areas are not even. It’s been a month and still trying to fix issues.

Build times are longer these days. So plan on at least 9-10 months. The construction was done well and to our specifications.

Sales rep was prompt on lot and model availabilities. Design Center appointment was exciting and handled professionally, but responses after final appointment were not responded to. KB Home Loan team was great to work with and received prompt feedback. Superintendents resolve issues as fast as they can but at the mercy of the contractors. Many contractor quality and workmanship issues found during the build and after closing (aren't these supposed to be caught and fixed prior to closing!?). Unfortunately, from observations and experience so far, if you rate internal KB surveys with avg or low scores you put yourself at risk for slower to no responses to issues during your warranty period. ... Communication with sales rep was difficult. Due to shortage and winter storm pushed back move in dates. Great Experience with everyone else, on the KB team. We love our home

Working with KB staff was great. Every person from sales, to studio, to construction was great. In fact, I had no complaints at all until we moved in. There are several cosmetic issues in our home which could/should have been taken care of before we closed but we were on our 7th closing date and just couldn't wait any longer. Annoying things like paint on the carpet to more significant things like large gaps between the siding and top of the windows which I've already had to address personally. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star review is the lack to attention to making every detail perfect. ... Más

The home build itself is wonderful and what we asked for. The process of buying the home was the hassle. There was major communication issues with every aspect, KB reps, finance personnel, approval office, etc. There needs to be better communication to make the home buying experience with KB Home a wonderful process and experience.
