Design studio being worst. Sales office and site manager and danny are the best .

When we signed to buy our home, we were told verbally that our slider would be a foot shorter and the downstairs bathroom would no have a window. However, we were not told the gutter on the back of the building would be eliminated. You may say that the salesperson didn’t tell us. Fact is, it should have been in writing all the things the models and already built homes had which would be eliminated. Nothing. We could actually sue for the shorter slider and the window and gutters if we wanted because we were buying what appeared in the model and the already completed homes.

Sales rep is very transparent. Building team is very attentive.

My overall experience with KB Home was great, they are very helpful, and they were always there to answer any questions or concerns !

Overall, the quality of the build is great. Because the house is so basic, you're inclined to upgrade a bit. Decided to upgrade light fixtures in bathrooms and dining room. Big mistake. The bathroom fixtures were not centered to the sink and are closer to the wall. So much for having a design element. In addition, We were stuck getting a Lot that we didn't want, but agreed to it because we were told we could build a certain design on that lot (Farmhouse), which is the design we wanted out of the four choices. Two days later, we were told that we could no longer have the Farmhouse and that we had to have a certain style (Italian) because supposedly the plans were already submitted to the City. I feel like the plans would have had to be submitted much earlier if that were the case and that the Sales Agent must have known it was an Italian lot before telling us we could get a Farmhouse. Unfortunately, not being able to choose the style of home really messed with our experience as it's an option that is used to entice buyers to purchase with KB. The home wasn't 100% ready when we moved in, but the Superintendents (I went through 3 in the span of the 6 month build/purchase process) did follow up to make sure our concerns/questions were answered after moving in. As a first time buyer, KB streamlined the process.

KB built our neighbors home after ours was built. They built the same model as ours with their windows all mirroring ours. The fence is lower then the windows, therefore we can see into each others homes. We have NO privacy!

My experience with the builder and Sarah was awesome. They answered every question I had and was able to assist me when needed. My 3 star rating is due to the loan officer, Sylma. As a loan officer she was not knowledgeable and very incompetent. She would give closure dates and not make her deadlines. Instead of her being honest with the changes in the closure dates she would put blame on others. I was told my closure date was changed due to waiting on meters to be installed. Once the meters were installed my closure date was changed again because she was waiting on GSFA to approve me. When I contact GSFA I was told my application was not received. Immediately after I contacted Sylma and told her what was said and who my point of contact was and only at this time she admitted to me she was not familiar with the program and had to get educated on it. Her apologies were not accepted because I had asked her before I went with KB Loan if she was knowledgeable to the program and was told yes. I forgot to mention I had given my landlord my notice to move, so I was displaced for three weeks and had stressed this to Sylma and her supervisor Steve. Both of them promised to get the paperwork done ASAP, but that didn’t happen. It took GSFA a few hours to approve my application, but it took them over three weeks to process and submit a few pages. Overall experience was great.

Marcell, our salesman was nice in person but at times not very responsive and seemed to lack knowledge of products and building procedures. He was also rude to our agent a couple times. Once we finished that part of the process working with Joey was a far better experience. He was super responsive and went put of his way to help us and explain anything that needed to be explained. He was flexible with scheduling and didn't mknd going the extra mile.

You guys can do better. KB is a big corporation. I was expecting great service and quality. I am disappointed with the whole experience. This is not my first new home I purchased.

Trabajamos mucho por nuestra cuenta para que el lugar estuviera en óptimas condiciones. Como una construcción nueva, esperábamos mudarnos con casi todo listo para funcionar. Nuestro representante de ventas de KB fue muy receptivo y comprensivo.

Nuestro pago inicial se perdió por la hipoteca de KB durante 5 días, la textura de la sala de estar fue de muy mala calidad y el desempeño del subcontratista de techado estuvo muy por debajo de la media, extendiendo nuestro cierre por un mes. Aparte de eso, fueron geniales en general.

La capacidad de respuesta ha sido asombrosa. Han tenido desafíos dado que me mudé justo cuando la ciudad estaba adoptando medidas de "seguridad en el hogar". Habiendo dicho eso, encuentro tantos agujeros de clavos sin rellenar. Veo lo que parecen escamas en las paredes, pero cuando toco las escamas, en realidad son agujeros de clavos mal cubiertos que cuando se tocan se desprenden para mostrar el panel de yeso subyacente. y clavo. Tengo algunos problemas que se han identificado, pero no es justo comentar debido al estado de covid-19 en el que nos encontramos. Me han informado que solo se atenderán los problemas de emergencia. Dicho esto, no puedo comentar honestamente sobre lo que no pueden hacer. Hasta que sepa qué harían con mis inquietudes pendientes. Estas son solo respuestas preliminares, pero no definitivas.

En resumen, buena experiencia con KB, el servicio, la capacidad de respuesta. Recomendaría el equipo y la facilidad para hacer negocios en cualquier momento. Desde una perspectiva de valor y mano de obra, creo que son mediocres; algunas paredes delgadas como el papel (sonido), acabados apresurados, etiquetas de alfombra y pernos faltantes (aunque nuevamente, buen servicio para arreglar). Creo que el valor (precio) está bien para el Área de la Bahía. Pero por los $, esperaría mejores materiales.

Las ventas son geniales, la casa está bien construida y tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. Sin embargo, es necesario prestar atención a la coordinación del seguimiento para resolver los problemas. El coordinador de este proyecto no comunica el seguimiento completo a tiempo. Esto puede resultar muy frustrante.

Me dieron un par de fechas finales. Puede ser una falta de comunicación.

He tenido varias solicitudes de servicio al cliente que deben solucionarse después del cierre, sin embargo, KB parece ser muy receptivo a esas solicitudes para resolverlas. Windows reemplazado. Todavía esperando la llamada de la compañía para que se reemplace el microondas, se instalen los clips de la estufa (el servicio de atención al cliente se lo entregó a la compañía de electrodomésticos a partir de hace 2 días), el reemplazo de la puerta del gabinete y algunas reparaciones de puertas / cajones programadas para el 31 de diciembre.

We had a lot of adjustments being the first ones a t the sight. It made for a tough transition for us. The KB people did put in extra hours and care for us. We appreciate that Malissa, Mike, and Bob have responded to us out of hours and have gone beyond to help us.

Both this guys are super friendly. Every week during the building process they contacted me and asked if I had any questions about the house. Juan updated me on the progress of the house. After home was completed I had a few things that needed to be fixed and Anthony and Juan responded very quickly and completed the work instantly. I give Juan and Anthony five stars and ten out of ten. Great job guys!
