We gave you an excellent review when we first moved in, but since then we have had a bad experience with Sunpower. We had solar in our previous home and wanted to use our previous contractor, but KB required us to use Sunpower. We closed escrow on Dec. 2, 2020, and we still do not have solar activation as of Feb.17, 2021. Sunpower can give us no good reason for the delay. They said the City had the wrong address on the permit. (sounds like an excuse from Sunpower) When we called Sunpower, we talked to someone in the Philippines and then someone in Texas. We get monthly reports that list ZERO in the data because the solar is not activated. How can we get this resolved? Do we have to remove the panels and get our own contractor ? When this community is done it will be awesome! You can take the light rail to downtown and you are near DIA. PARKS , restaurants, and community events is what makes this home.

My experience with KB was pretty great until closing came. First they picked a day for the final walkthrough and did not give me an option. I was told to show up at this time to inspect before closing. When I got there the house was in totally disarray and not close to being finished. Construction manager said he would have it move in ready within the next 5 days. I showed up 7 days later work that was agreed upon was not finished and Moore damage had been done due to trying to finish quickly. Overall I had to go back and forth four times each time was better but not what was promised. I could not trust the manager or his word as I caught him in multiple lies and he tried to hide defects in the house. Luckily I am around construction and knew what to look for. It was not move in ready until the regionals after got involved and put new crews to do the work right were called it. After living here for a few months now I can really see how poor quality of a build this home is. If you want quality look else where. If you want cheep work with a poor coverup call KB home. ... Check the quality of materials.

Jeffrey the Sales person was very friendly, professional and communicative when addressing any questions in regards to the sale. I was not pleased that after I had placed a deposit on the home, I was sent an amendment that the Model Home I was purchasing was being sold AS IS. The AS IS status was not addressed with me by the seller before I put a down payment on the Model Home. At times Fred, the project manager was not communicative and was slow in responding to issues I addressed about the home. In fact the speaker system was removed from the home and the walls patch after I placed a down payment on the home. I felt as if the home was not a priority since I had signed the contract. I feel as though I overpaid for this Model Home and was told due to the AS IS status it will be up to me to have any issues not covered by the warranty repaired. I am disappointed. ... Más

Sarah in the sales office was amazing. Roger superintentent of construction was awesome as well. Lots of flaws in the KB designs ithat they didnt care to fix for me. Received crappy counter top design that they didnt care to make right. Will have to fix myself.

KB has really nice designs and locations to pick ,however lack of workmanship and people with good customer service skills are needed to be improved by KB home

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE THE HOUSE. But there was need to fix. I HAVE ELECTRICAL ISSUES NEED TO BE REPAIR AT MY KITCHEN AREA, THE ADDRESS LIGHT NOT WORK OFF DURING THE NIGHT, BACK PATIO ELECTRIC SOCKET LOOSE, BATH ROOM MIRROR LOOSE....KB HOME PLEASE FIX MY HOUSE.

Our experience has been mediocre specially with numerous maintenance requirements in a brand new house.

I had a great sales person who walked me through everything. Always there to answer questions.

experience was good Pam, loan officer Brad and Super attended Rick were A+ service. quality still need to be improved but KB is taking care of the issues that we found

lacking quality of build. no interior insulation - you hear everything from the next rooms , especially from the bathrooms and kitchen. Very sloppy!! You get what you pay for.

I'm so frustrated with overall build quality issues and non responsiveness to the reported issues for warranty. Never going to buy a KB Home again.

Expected better response to issues in regards to the home when we received keys. But once you get your keys to your home it’s up to the home buyer to constantly be on it, or your issues will be forgotten.

It would be great if could stay a week or two to check over everything before signing. So you can see what need to be fixed or more attention received

We’ve had several concerns and building issues. Overall, most have been corrected or at least addressed.

I love my home. The location was the reason I purchased the home. I have been disappointed with repairs. Most are minor fixes yet are still not completed and I have been in my home for over 60 days. I am not pleased with the quality of my air conditioning in my home. It is suppose to energy friendly and well insulated. Which it is but at a cost of 2 bedrooms being hotter then the rest of the house. The air conditioning company telling me this is normal? They need to work on the function of the home. It looks pretty but it also needs to function. You need to put the toilet paper holder in spot you can reach. The gas line is at my bedroom window, who is going to grill in front of their bedroom window? No place for trash cans? You have to drag through a ton of stones and it is hard on feet/back. Paint indoors is flat, anything touches it and it leaves a mark. They offer a free touch-up but the guy never calls you back, so I gave up and did it myself. I am not that happy. ... Más

Its Okay

Bad response on issues. Very late response even after multiple follow up.

New construction house still can find several things need to be reworked/ repaired. Ex. ceiling LED lights falling, missing cabinet shelf, drill holes, uneven wall, leaking sprinkler, and crack driveway due to the Community concrete work.

There is lack of communication among employees. Very poor response when it comes to fixing issues.

I wish I could have given a better rating but I have to be honest about this review. In my opinion, the construction material is not the greatest quality. We noticed a few things since moving in, such as our front door does not feel secure. A corner of the front door near the lock is cracked, and someone used something like clay to patch the crack. The front door pops open a little even when the door is locked. The lock does not turn completely to assure the lock won’t reopen. The front door feels like hard plastic instead of real wood. The door in the master bathroom does not close unless you try lifting the door. Also the kitchen outlets does not work. Most door knobs lock counter clockwise which drives me crazy because I want to turn the locks clockwise. I gave home buying experience a 3 because there was a lot of miscommunication throughout the home buying Process with the financial department. I understand our initial consultation guy got laid off, so none of our initial issues are fixed. We are now in warranty and have had a major plumbing leak that we've already cut thru walls and have fans in our house for a week, not happy. I still have paint touch ups (inside&outside) nails sticking out, repaint in certain areas, recaulking around windows (sloppy job). Everyone at KB is nice, but getting no immediate help on getting my house 100% after sale.
