Hemos estado en nuestra casa casi 2 meses y hemos hablado de la garantía dos veces y les hemos enviado un correo electrónico y a nadie parece importarle. Estoy muy decepcionado.

Todavía esperando que se solucionen los problemas de 10 días y de 30 días

Seguimos teniendo problemas eléctricos después de que salió el electricista y no ha habido respuestas a los correos electrónicos del servicio al cliente.

En general, la compra de una casa KB Home ha sido buena, la selección de la parcela y el modelo fue fácil. Luego vinieron las selecciones en el estudio de la casa, estuvo bien, hubo algunas selecciones que ofrecieron y otras no, pero luego, cuando comenzó el proceso de construcción, los elementos que se ofrecieron se eliminaron con la explicación de "Oh, no". ofrecer eso en esa ubicación / más, etc. " Los artículos que el estudio en casa dijo que no estaban disponibles los he visto en varias de las otras casas, parece que nadie sabe lo que se suponía que se ofrecería. Luego hubo cambios realizados, algunos fueron beneficiosos, otros molestos. La construcción, se puede decir que los constructores y contratistas se apresuraron por algunas áreas más que otras, la calidad muestra y sus pequeñas cosas simples. Diariamente seguimos encontrando cosas que no estaban terminadas o arregladas para que parezcan terminadas. Se han resuelto algunas cosas de la garantía, sin embargo, los contratistas aparecen, tienen el permiso de trabajo y luego salen otro día para hacer un poco de trabajo aquí y allá, por lo que debe tomarse un tiempo libre y reorganizar su horario para las cosas que deberían haberse tomado. cuidado desde el principio. Excelentes materiales de construcción, pero las reparaciones finales y los problemas logísticos no se resolvieron adecuadamente a tiempo.

Todavía esperando que se arreglen las cosas, más de un mes en la casa, que se prometió arreglar antes de mudarnos.

La oficina de ventas fue excelente, el estudio de diseño fue excelente, el gerente de construcción fue excelente al principio, pero luego. Ni siquiera quiero entrar en cuán terrible fue mi proceso y la falta de atención a los detalles y la falta de respeto como cliente que paga casi 300 mil por una casa y alguien que ignora mis preocupaciones y actúa con tanta indiferencia sobre las cosas hacia el final. El equipo de ventas fue excelente, pero tuve muchos problemas con mi hogar.

Compré nuestra casa por la ubicación. No para el constructor (KB). No estoy tratando de ser descortés sino honesto. La casa está a una milla de nuestra Iglesia.

Mala experiencia

La casa ni siquiera estaba terminada cuando cerramos (nos apresuramos a cumplir con la fecha límite del 30 de noviembre) la calidad de la pintura es terrible, se desprende con el más mínimo rasguño, se cerró hace casi 2 meses y todavía no tiene una puerta mosquitera, solicitó una cerca cita 3 veces y nunca obtuve una. Y la casa estaba sucia después de cerrar, tuve que pedir que la limpiaran. Después de hablar con los vecinos, parece que todos hemos tenido la misma experiencia, por lo que no es una casualidad.

Inseguro y la calidad del proceso no es buena

Por dónde empezar ... el equipo de contratistas no escucha las preocupaciones, se utiliza material barato, el paisajismo es terrible. Comenzó muy bien, luego la falta de comunicación empeoró y apresuró todo después de que mis preocupaciones comenzaron a mostrarse. Aún quedan muchos artículos por arreglar bajo garantía.

Experience was ok. It is a pain getting the different trades out to fix issues. The painters were suppose to show numerous times and never communicated that they weren’t coming. The irrigation system has been down for weeks with no sign of correction. My grass was starting to die before all the of rain started.

Customer service for work to be done was no show no call when maxs sent some out didn't all work need is still need won't return call work needed to done back door,fonrt entrance, garage door entrance ,water hose connector at this time I'm very disappointed in kbh

The house has a defect that we reported several times and nobody from kb seems to care and doesnt wanted to come fix it.

horrible workmanship. unfinished touches on the home. driveway and garage foundation already cracking before moving in amongst many other things. staff is nice but unfortunately building houses fast in mass equals low quality of the property.

I have a long thread of email responses back and forth with the construcmanager, not superintendents, in which I continually pointed out incorrect building of my home. Several issues were sloughed off only to be issues to delay closings. Items pointed out by my private insepcthave yet to be resolved and were pointed out 3 months ago, beforethe first scheduled cloing which the builder missed. The KB lender tried to swindle me out of $17k categorized as points when I received quotes from 2 other lender for zero points and lower interest rates quoted by the KB loan officer. The journey with KB has been a disappointing struggle which started one year ago and still continues to get post walk through items and pre-walk through items resolved to my satisfaction. We have been in our house for about 3 months and have learned the speed with which they build translates into countless misses. And if you don't get them fixed before you close, good luck getting traction afterward. In 3 short months, we already have failing caulk (they don't fix caulk) an upgraded railing that has a large gap underneath (they won't fix it) and has had to be refinished once and still doesn't look good, subfloor glue all throughout my basement floor that they never removed, crooked drawers in the kitchen, numerous paint mismatches from the numerous "touch ups"that have occurred, and many more. Absolutely not happy at all and no one really gives a care. Cheap, nasty materials and even worse workmanship. Actions speak louder than words...still waiting for action. KB Home decided to push to have home site completed 6-8 weeks early. I voiced my concerns about corners being cut immediately. My concerns were not unfounded. Now, I'm expected to take time off of work for each individual sub contractor/vendor to come and fix what should have been done correctly in the first place; this is very costly. I have already paid a fortune for this house, why should it cost me more for it to be fixed under warranty??? Step up KB, and give me a delegate/representative that can escort the sub contractors/vendors for the repairs/warranty work that's necessary while I'm at work...or, do Saturday repairs. Buyer beware…Do not buy a KB Home. They are kings of bait and switch tactics. The property was a mess. The house was filthy as if someone already lived in our brand new home. Plumbing issues and scratched windows from day one. Dealing with KB’s customer service has been worthless and I am pretty sure everyone in my neighborhood feels the same way!

Issues still pending that were identified on the final walk. Contractors care very little for the material that is new, they drag cabinets, scratch countertops, force dry wall when curries not fit installed crack bath tub, chalking bad work, home dirty, no pressure wash of garage and sidewalk and driveway. My opinion house over priced for the workmanship. No pride in the work they do. Just waiting to see who calls to text and make right. Good Luck right?

Builder visit my house last month he say he come back next week and he never comeback for the repairing

This is our 2nd KB Home - there are pros and cons to everything Pros - more square footage for the price and great location - no doubt about it However more cons than pros.... Cons - Craftsmanship is not great quality as it used to be - rushed, quick builds are more about QUANTITY AND NOT QUALITY Customer service is not that great - needs much improvement Hire cheap labor workers - get what you pay for, sad but true. We hesitated to give any reviews and give them a chance to help fix and make things right but when you keep getting these requests to submit surveys, on the daily and weekly - just going to have to be honest and truthful. 1st - we were told and advised that build time was 9 months to a year. "Just sign a year lease to be on the safe side." THANK GOODNESS we only signed 10 - month lease. EVEN THEN - we were told it was going to be completed 6 months sooner. We can't afford to break the lease on top of paying for higher mortgage! After back-and-forth negotiations, they still would not help us but wait. there's more. We will come back to this later. At this point - we were so stressed out and caused a lot of pain and heartache with non-stop bickering with my spouse, but we pushed through. 2nd - during the build - went from 1st foreman to another. During this transition - right after Insulation had been installed all around the house - everything was tight fitting, pretty and snug - No insulation was missing - we even asked if we could add more to certain areas while introducing ourselves to the new foreman - he said yes. so, we did. When we came back next week, the sheet rock people had already started - at this time it was only the top half around the house, we walked around the house - there were cigarette butts on our sheet rock, and there was insulation stuffed under the staircase void. We asked the foreman where the insulation came from, and at this time we were concerned about missing insulation where we can't see since half of the walls were already walled up. He said he would ask and talk to the sheet rock supervisor. All because we asked a legitimate question - coincidentally we came afterwork to walk through and check our progress - come to find urine in two different rooms that had spread to our framing and joining / connected rooms - we took pictures and immediately called the foreman. He stated that we cannot just say it's urine - we'll have to check for water leakage - so he had the plumber come out and do testing - EVERYTHING WORKED FINE - found NO LEAKS. at this time my spouse is crying because of anger and frustration - first new build and to have to deal with someone urinating in our house is unacceptable. Told our sales rep. and sent pics and e-mail. Nothing was done about this except they had to clean it and sanitize the framing. This is unacceptable - who knows how many other people's homes have been urinated in if they're not able to watch their house being built from ground up. FINE - we let it roll off our backs. They've lost our complete trust because of this. Back to closing date - only reason why they even gave us an opportunity to extend our closing date was because of this urine issue and the fact that we were told it would take longer to build and were advised to sign a year lease which we didn't thank goodness - No ONE Even knew about the urine issue we had experienced a couple months back at this point. The GM didn't even know he was baffled and shocked to hear this had happened. He helped to accommodate our needs to extend as we couldn't break our lease which we were thankful and appreciative of. Fast forward to closing date - we did a walk through and had agreed to sign and close on the house but in return things that needed to be completed would be completed - DO NOT DO THIS!!! MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED PRIOR TO CLOSING. FAST FORWARD -- so many other issues afterwards - we have just moved in this month - so far, we are now on Warranty rep number 3 Let me tell you - we have not had great customer service so far -- 1st guy (Matt) met us in person - we did not have much time to go over things that were not completed so we showed him the things that were high priority - as we talked about setting up time for appointment - we had discussed PM and NOT AM - better to take the latter half and rest of the day off than to stress out about not making it to work on time. Finally, the day has come - My spouse is out of town for work. Here I am sitting at the house waiting for the painter and framer to come - texted Matt to let him know I will be here from 1 - 6 he responds with a thumbs up. (Thinking to myself - what the heck is the thumbs up for) does that mean he's saying Ok or everything is good?? fast forward to 4:30 - no one has showed up yet, messaged him again - he finally responds with well they came earlier this morning but no one was home... WHAT??!!!! we scheduled for PM not AM - I just wasted my time off that I can't get back, his response was Must have been a miscommunication. -- Instead of apologizing for the mishap, he pretty much blamed us. WHY would we take off morning half and stress out about getting to work on time and not just take the afternoon half off? My spouse was really upset - when I told her --- she's already dealing with work, she's exhausted and now she's having to call Matt as well. --- Next day, we get a text stating that Matt has been moved to another community. WOW. Go figure Kelly would be our CSR -- let me tell you - his communication skills are not great; he gives you ultimatums instead of asking you when your next availability is or what would work best with your schedule. We asked if he would kindly meet with us so we can do a meet and greet and show him things that needed to be completed but never got completed, would not even give you the time or day! They left splotches of concrete on the driveway ,there are weird bumps in our tile ,they never came to redo our paint , and when they redid our fence the didnt angle it straight across it goes up down back up then down which makes no sense . Brandon has been unresponsive which says alot considering he told me to close on the house and he'd still fix all the issues
