My home-buying experience was such a memorable journey, and I'm so grateful for everyone who helped make it possible. Buying a home can definitely come with its share of emotions, questions, and unexpected moments, but overall, I'm incredibly thankful for how everything came together. I especially want to recognize Liz, the listing agent. She was absolutely amazing throughout the process! Liz was professional, responsive, kind, and genuinely helpful from beginning to end. She communicated clearly, helped keep things moving, and was always willing to answer questions or provide clarity when needed. You could tell that she truly cared about making the process as smooth and positive as possible for everyone involved. What stood out most was how approachable and accommodating Liz was. Her professionalism, patience, and positive attitude made such a difference during such an important milestone in my life. I am so glad that I chose a Lennar home. I am very pleased with my house and all the people with Lennar that I have spoken with since I started the process of purchasing a house. I have felt very blessed because of the decision I made. That is something which is very difficult to find and is the highest score that I know to give to Lennar Homes.

Overall the buying process was excellent, but there were too many maintenance issues that I am still struggling with. My suggestion is to have a team to throughly go over the installations of the house.

From the pouring of the foundation to the framing of the walls to the walls being put in I was here. I was constantly asking for the walk-in shower that I needed and never got. It was a need. Necessary for my wellbeing.You were more concerned about the quota than the welfare of someone health.

The front lawn grass is half rye grass. Which we asked about it and immediately we were promised it would be changed and corrected. Rye grass removed. The side and back of house has rye grass as well, but the front looks awful. Even my new neighbors said they felt sorry for me. But a few days before closing the grass wasn't changed, instead when we asked they claimed the grass would blend in when it died off. But we explained underneath the rye grass it was dead. My Realtor even emailed everyone with this concern prior to closing. They sent the 'lawn head' guy and he claimed it would blend in and it wasn't dead underneath. After the closing it rained a lot and I watered the grass. I also irrigated the grass, but to my disgust I found lumber bits, stones, trash and etc underneath the rye grass (not the good grass). Which explains why the grass died as we complained before the closing. I tried to removed all the trash, stones, lumber as much as possible. The rye grass did die, but the grass underneath didn't take over as was our concern (because it looked dead as we pointed out, but they said it wasn't). But, the good grass looks great. But my front of yard looks crazy. Both sides and back of my house is all rye grass. Now Lennar had the nerd to use another house with beautiful grass in the front, but using my address and sold date to Zillow, Redfin, etc! Even they knew they couldn't display the grass in front because it looked horrible. Look at the listing yourself. You can see the address on the brick surrounding the garage door doesn't match by 3 digit numeral address. It has about 5 to 6 digit number. I have the true pictures of my house and ugly grass. Plus, the original Zillow, Realtors website of my house with my address and half mix grass. So, it looks so horrible that Lennar had to change the photo to deceive other people thinking that they provide excellent grass in front of the new houses. I wish they would honor their promise and at least fix the front lawn. ... Más

Houses are built with cheap materials

I never thought I would feel this way about my brand new house. I find something wrong everyday. We went in the attic and found a beer can. Drinking while on the job explains why there are so many cosmetic issues and flaws.

I felt mislead in the process., I sent all required documents which took a lot of time. I did everything I was told to do including paying 500 dollars earnest money. After about a month of being led on I was told I didn’t qualify. I was told initially my credit score was 644, it hadn’t changed but then I was told it needed to be higher; was told initially 620 was all required. Got the run around about getting my earnest money back; took about 30 days.

My experience has been very very bad been in my home for almost months door knobs falling off Clay said scraw them back on with a screwdriver I'm not doing that only a month and a half old dishwasher leak island bulking no one answers to fix the problem he said I didn't water the grass Thats why it's dead no mama I promise to GodI watered the Grass it was dead when I moved in All I want is my house Fixed. There were things wrong prior to and after closing on 6/10/25, not to mention taking weeks to get the CCRs because they weren't included in closing, and another week for Exhibit A that included my lot. So many of the issues stemmed from the home being on a corner and ALL services with the city, utilities, post office, etc. was the side road of the house instead of the legal address at the front of the house. I had a letter returned to me stating invalid address when set to my house and it took over a month to get ATT and move other utilities to my name. Lennar originally put the wrong numbers on my house. This home was built by a builder Lennar purchased and it's my opinion is that Lennar didn't take any responsibility for what was now their problem. Everyone we spoke to said it wasn't their fault, passed the buck to someone else, or just didn't do anything to help! We'd call and no one answers, call and leave a message without getting a call back, or speak to someone who says they'll call back and never does. A month after closing and a month's worth of phone calls/emails to my realtor, Lennar, AL Power, ATT, post office, city to get things straightened out and items repaired. I thank my realtor for getting Lennar in line! THEN things finally got some attention. It shouldn't have had to come to that! Shame on Lennar! I would NEVER recommend Lennar based on this experience! It was an all cash deal and should have been an easy transaction. We are a retired military family that moved quite a bit so we have purchased, sold, rented homes in many places over 20+ years. Not our first rodeo. Here are the folks at Lennar we delt with: Charity, Trish, Zach, Katie, Luke, Terry and the girl that worked on property that was fired prior to our closing date. ... Más
