The people at Synovus/ Lennar really made this home buying experience one of the greatest things to happen in my life! They are very professional informed, patient, courteous and forthcoming! They made my wife Jacqueline and I feel safe . And we are happy with the purchase of our new home! Thank you. From the bottom of our heart!

My experiences as an investor have always been great. This time however, we were not able to conduct a virtual walk through. It would be helpful if other video options - such as, Signal or Zoom - were available to those who cannot use FaceTime.

The major problems were the closing part. No hard copy paper of sign documents were available. Everything electroni. Bad idea. No on site closing agents with keys, ask me to drive 2 hours to pick up my key to a house I just paid cash for. Want never do that again.

Nice salesman and good area to live in

We have purchase several homes from Lennar and each time it gets worse. The quality and craftmanship is horrible but along with that is the lousy supervision that is to be watching that things are done well and complete. Last home for sure we purchase from Lennar. Their leadership is not very good. They have zero interest in making sure the home is ready for their "blue tape" walks. On all of our homes we have had to have painting redone nearly everywhere, some places you could still see the sheetrock after the so called 2 coats of paint. Carpets dirty, caulking missing or poorly installed. Lighting openings too large so you see gaps....and so on..... ... Más

I asked questions along the way and was told let me find out and I will get back to you. {Never happened} one guy told me it's not like we have a check making machine here. Didn't care for that answer now they tell us it could be a year before we start getting our mail here at Mize Meadows

There are so many things to say about the home construction, closing and how we were treated after buying our home. The construction crew apparently did not care about their quality of craftsmanship while building our home. It feels like the home was just thrown together. The patio pole was the wrong size and the brace did not fit the pole. The garage and driveway concrete is cracked. The drywaller did the worst job that we have ever seen! The tape a mud is awful in just about every room. The trim crew did not care that the trim had fibers from the carpet and drywall mud was on the baseboards, they just painted over them. The baseboards look like they were painted as an after thought. The back door was not set correctly and they had to remove all the trim and reset the door so that there would no longer be a gap. After fixing the door, they caulked the door so poorly that it will need to be fixed by my husband. They also forgot to replace the quarter round at the base of the door (which we told the construction manager to get it fixed). The front window caulk and mud is cracking and separating. This was fixed, but has started to do it again. There is paint and glue (from the flooring) over the entire floor, which we are still trying to remove. The front door vinyl siding trim still has measurements written on it from that crew. The front door was painted so sloppy that we will need to have it repainted or replace the entire door. The back door trim needs to be hammered back into place (that was never fixed). I feel that these crew need to have a lot more pride in their craftsmanship. The construction manager was told about numerous things that needed fixed, but never took care of them. We were not informed about the progress of the home build, so we felt very left out. We were told on June 8th (Monday)that our initial home orientation would be on Wednesday (10th) and that if we wanted a private person to do the home inspection, we would need to have that done before the 10th of June. That gave us 1 day to secure someone to do that. They then had our final walk through on the same day that we were signing our closing paperwork. There were still things that need to be completed and we were told that they would be taken care of. They are still not finished! When we contacted the construction manager, we were told they would get done. Well, 2 months later, they have not been completed. We do love the layout of our home and we are fixing the things that did not get completed. But we feel that once we signed the final paperwork, we are no longer relevant to them. Crooked walls, unresponsive employees, horrible craftsmanship, some of the worst mud and tape I’ve ever seen, uneven floors, absolutely no pride taken in the building or selling service

Dear Reed, you contacted me shortly after I completed the purchase of my new home. I expressed to you that I was very displeased with the workmanship in different areas of my new house as you and I briefly discussed. You referred me to Scott and said Scott would contact me to address these issues. Scott did come out to my house to see the issues of poor workmanship with the painting, window installation and carpet in the master bedroom and he said they would get fixed. Scott sends the job Superintendent Kyle out to address the issues (which were discussed on my walk thru). To no avail, I am still having issues with the wood trim paint and painted walls. One party tells me things will be repaired/fixed the other tells me the opposite or both Scott and Kyle say repairs/replacement will be done then when asked of the status, they both denied what was told to me. Several occasions my Sister has been here and heard/witnessed what was said and they still deny. What ever happened to customer service where the customer is always right, especially when there is a witnessing party? I understand Breland Homes was the original builder then Lennar took over the development and at one time my home (Lot 44) was used as a staging/storage place. I saw it when it was and there was a lot of construction traffic coming in and out of this house. I am very familiar with Lennar in California being I relocated from California and the standard of workmanship is there is so much higher. Unless, I ask myself, is this an isolated incident? I am very dissatisfied because I bought a brand NEW home, not a fixer upper. I am sorry but until the issues with my new home have been fixed and completed, I cannot and will not recommend Lennar to a new home buyer. ... Más
