I will let my friends and families to buy house from Lennar but one thing is the closing cost is pretty high. It would have better to lower the cost to help buyers to buy house from Lennar

Overall, we like our new home. The process was fairly simple and took only about 4 months from start to finish. The one thing that we did not like about the process is that Lennar would not let you alter any plans in any way. So, we ended up with carpet in the bedrooms and had to have it removed after closing. They do not place a second water meter For the irrigation system nor would they let me pay to have it installed before landscaping was done. This meant I had to dig up my yard to do it later. We had no choice in the water fixtures or door knobs etc. so, after closing, I have had to change all the cheap looking chrome out. No options for ceiling fans or light fixtures either. All had to be done after closing. So, overall, we are satisfied with our home and the Lennar sales team (Alex) did a great job. However, the inability to change anything from their cookie cutter plans was a big inconvenience and added unnecessary expenses. On another note, the HOA makes living in a Lennar neighborhood challenging at best. ... Más

During my recent purchase in Tara Baywood, the home inspection revealed a number of issues. Some were addressed on-site by Construction Supervisor Myles, while others required follow-up. While the initial construction experience was mixed, Lennar’s warranty and customer-service process truly excelled. My Warranty Service Coordinator, Dee, was outstanding. She listened carefully, stayed in constant communication, and personally ensured every concern was resolved—escalating several items to her supervisor, Mark, when needed. Together, Dee and Mark turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a completely positive outcome. As a California-licensed general contractor and real estate investor, I’ve worked with many national builders. Lennar’s post-closing warranty process, and especially the dedication of representatives like Dee and Mark, is among the very best I’ve experienced. I don’t even know where to begin. I trusted you. I was excited to get a brand new home only to find out that the the workmanship is shoddy. My yard is a swamp and I have expressed my concerns about this for two months only to be pushed aside. I have had multiple contractors over to my home only to state that they’ve never seen anything like this in their life. I wouldn’t recommend Lennar to a dog. The walk-through was smoke and mirrors I couldn’t even concentrate on the issues only to be told after I close that sorry you’ve closed so there’s nothing we can do. I’m just waiting for my foundation to crack in half. I’ve put thousands of dollars into this house already and I’ve only begun to just make it livable and I haven’t even totally moved in yet because I’m scared too ... Más

The salesperson, Alex, was outstanding and was attentive to our needs within his authority/control. However we were very dissatisfied with the workmanship (paint, carpentry, landscaping (unlevel, dead grass, irrigation system heads sticking up too high, etc)). The tubs are basically useless because they are way too short for an average height adult (taller than 4 feet). Great square footage and amenities for the dollar but the workmanship needs improvements.

Buying with Lennar has been an absolute nightmare. There have been so many issues, I don’t even know where to begin. On my initial walk-through, I found over 30+ issues. By the second walk-through (which they scheduled the same day as closing), many items were still not completed. On closing day, I had a notary scheduled at my home at 12pm. Both the construction manager and my home concierge, Paul, assured me that everything would be fixed within 45 minutes. I knew that was unrealistic given the amount of outstanding items, and of course, when I returned nothing was done. I was told if I didn’t close that day, I wouldn’t be able to close until after July and would have to restart my entire approval process. Under that pressure, I closed—based on promises that repairs would be completed right away. The construction managers, Myles and Raphael, along with their boss Jose, ended up coming to my home seven times (if not more, to be honest). Despite their repeated visits, most items weren’t finished until three weeks after closing. Some are still not done almost two months later. For example, my refrigerator door and oven drawer were both oxidized and supposed to be replaced—this was clearly documented in my walk-through notes. Yet today, they’re still not replaced. Myles has stopped responding, and Dee who has been extremely rude (I even have text messages to prove it)—is now telling me to file a warranty claim, claiming Myles and Raphael never promised replacements. That is a complete contradiction of what I was told and what was written down in my walk sheet with MYLES. Since I’ve moved in, I’ve already had to put in 13 work orders—and to top it all off, my AC is already leaking. How great is that? The level of disorganization, lack of accountability, and dishonesty I’ve experienced with Lennar is unacceptable. This has been nothing but stress, broken promises, and poor communication. To top it off my “real estate agent was mia through the entire process I didn’t seem him until week two of this nightmare no show for my celebration walk or closing. I was handed keys by a construction member. What a celebratory day…. I would never recommend Lennar to anyone, and I will be sharing my experience by word of mouth so others don’t go through the same ordeal.
