Simplified process that was quick an efficient.

From the initial sales appointment, confirming options, coordinating with my third party inspections, to closing on the home, the service from Lennar exceeded expectations. My construction manager assigned was responsive and sent weekly videos of the construction process which made me feel like I didn’t have to go onsite all the time to check progress.

From start to finish we had a great buying experience with Lennar Homes. Very honest and easy to work with. It’s been almost two months since we moved in and we love our home! I would definitely buy another Lennar home in the future or recommend their homes to friends and family.

Joe our sales person was awesome. The building supervisor worked hard. We did run into a few issues that needed addressed, we are not happy at all on how the rock was cemented up to the vinyl on front of the house. It looks like crap and will need repaired soon.We run into issues that concerns us on the seal plate on the right side of the house. Also we’re disappointed with our driveway having to shift to avoid a manway.

I had a great buying experience with Maria and Eirik, my only real complaint was the landscape company did a really poor job with the quality of sod and trees. Then they replace some of it and I am left dealing with the rest of the weeds not sod on my own

Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable in the process of purchasing the home. I do believe that one walk through and explanation of the function of some of the features of the home would be enough it was very difficult for us being out of state

The entire Lennar team were great during the buying process and were very responsive to questions or concerns we had. Highly recommend Lennar and the Shannon Woods team!

We enjoyed working with Suzanne and Andrea of Lennar Homes. Also, Travis and Marshall were very good during our walk-thru. I did feel like there were so many people doing all different type of jobs within Lennar that it was hard to keep everyone straight.

Overall a great experience with exceptions to workmanship with painting and some gouges in floor tile.

For me, I felt like the loab approval process was a bit much. I was asked questions that I didn't really feel was appropriate. They also asked for the same documents that I'd already sent in to a previous employee. I felt like they weren't communicating to each other. I think that a better quality paint should have been used. The paint is not able to be wiped down without the paint coming off the walls.Other than that, I love my new house.

Buying a Lennar home was fairly easy. This is my first “brand new” home purchase. I didn’t expect a perfect house at this price point, but there were a few things that surprised me. Things I didn’t expect: 1. My closing date was used as leverage to not get things fixed during the pre-closing walk-through. “If you need that done it may delay your closing.” 2. The house was not cleaned. I had to mop the floors and wipe down the countertops before I moved in. 3. Gravel and construction trash was in the yard. I had to rake out the garbage from the grass. 4. After I pulled out the pine needles in the beds, I found even more garbage - anything from soda bottles to construction trash. Pine needles were simply thrown over it for concealment. 5. The Shannon Woods HOA is the most challenging aspect. Even though many items are allowed in the CCRs, you still have to ask for permission to change anything in the yard. It takes weeks to get a response and you can never speak to a real person. All in all, I like my Lennar home. I believe they could put a little more effort into their work product and the outcome would be greatly appreciated by the buyers. ... Más

I was told throughout the home buying process by the realtors in the office and walk through team, who are all employed of Lennar, that I could put a fence in my backyard as long as it was 4ft or 5ft back aluminum. I have had the most frustrating time getting my fence approved since day 1. There are other houses with fences like mine that don’t cover the entire property. The covenants state that I don’t have to. I don’t appreciate being told by every person I talked to that represents your company I can do something that has become a huge headache. You either need to fix my problem with putting my fence in or not say a word when selling homes about what owners can and can’t do. ... Más

To improve it would be nice to offer an upgrade in paint. What was used is cheap and feels like sand paper. Already have the whole down stairs re-painted. None of the light switches match up and we had to install a lot of lights which was shocking. We have many light switches that operate nothing that we can tell. No ceiling fans at all. Would also have been nice to add blinds or at least have the option to pay for them in the house purchase. Another expense to get this completed.

Overall was very good, but responsiveness to issues was pretty slow.

This was our first Lennar home purchase. The home value is great for the price. There are several things that were not done well like smoke detectors not located near the doorways, the cable connection box in the opposite side of the house from the cable box at the street. The purchase process was very smooth.

Poor craftsmanship and clearly poor quality control. Land was not prepped before sod was laid. I've been here two months and I'm still pulling up softball size chunks of concrete, nails, screws, saw blades, galvanized steel brackets. The sod is low quality, 1/8 of it is dead, not dormant, but dead, a third of it is infested with weeds. Half of the walls aren't straight, either y'all can't afford a chalk line, level, plumb bob, tape measure, or the quality of the lumber isn't worth the cost of the house. The longer I'm here the more things I see that make me regret buying from a builder. I won't recommend Lennar nor will I ever purchase a Lennar home again. Lennar had this home on the books and wanted it sold immediately. I signed off on the offer because my slaesperson needed it to make his month and was in a sales meeting. My agent and others at Lennar said not to worry about the closing date in 3 weeks, that we could adjust it afterwards. Und=fortunately that was not the case. In order to make this sale happen, I dealt with over 400 emails in the 3 weeks to follow, often with differing advise from different parties. I think that the new rep to help usher sales through the many Lennar parties will help, unfortunately she was new and no one contacted her at any time during the sale process. The final paperwork for closing arrived via email at 2 am the day of the closing. I basically had to sign it blind or not close on the house. This is absolutely unexcusable. The lawyers could not answer many of the questions that I had and were basically useless. All in all, it is the sales, mortgage nad closing process that were unccordinated, late or ill advised by Lennar personnel or associates. ... Más
