I had a great experience of buying a brand new house with Lennar in Albany OR. The service was great!

Absolutely the best experience ever.

I helped my son purchase his first home at Henshaw Farms and overall it was a great experience. The process was smooth and organized which alleviated a lot of stress for us.

The experience overall was relatively painless. Representatives i spoke to were professional, receptive to concerns, and communicated information to me clearly. Only issue that came up was the report made by the private inspection I had done not being passed onto the construction lead on the home, as their were major issues with the roof that weren't addressed until I personally brought the issue up before the final walk. If I hadn't, it likely would have been missed and lead to disastrous water damage to the home. Aside from that; the construction of the home is fine. I have not detected any major issues 3~ months into my occupation of the home. I have notice several cosmetic issues, such as paint on caulked surfaces peeling off and cracking, and expected nail pops appearing over time. The only other issue that comes to mind is in regards to the ventilation of the second floor. Even with dampers and registers fully open, air flow in the upstairs of the home is very low. It's been mitigated for the most part by the addition of an AC to my HVAC; but the airflow still feels generally stagnant and I sometimes experience mild discomfort heading to a bedroom that is considerably warmer than the downstairs. Overall, I love the home. I'm proud of the decision to purchase it, and I enjoy the location. As long as Lennar works with me if and when issues come up within coverage of the warranty, then I'll have nothing to complain about. ... Más

Overall happy with the home; after replacing the very cheap appliances. The cabinets are functional but lower quality and probably will need replacing at some point. Happy with the structure of the house and the layout; Lennar has been very responsive to any issues. I would avoid Lennar financing if at all possible; it was a nightmare trying to satisfy all of their massive documentation requirements and felt like a part time job.

I started looking for my perfect single level home with no backyard neighbors in June 2024. I met Mechelle at the Lebanon, OR development but that didn't have what i was looking for. She would contact me about every quarter for the update on construction starts in Albany which lot would meet that criteria. In July, 2025 one became available. She was moved to a different Lennar site before I would be able to make an offer on that lot and turned my information over to sales agent Aaron. He was wonderful to work with but if it hadn't been for Mechelle and her contacts to keep me posted, this sale would not have happened. ... Más

They built the house very quickly and reported their builing process and the materials they used.

We have only been in our new home for about 3 weeks but have had several problems arise. Each issue has so far been taken care of in a timely manner. At this point we are very happy with the response time to take care of homeowner issues.

My wife and i have many properties and this was our first NEW home. Overall the experience was really great. The financing from Lennar was a real pain, but the home itself we really enjoy. Next time i think we will use our own mortgage sources but we do love the home.

Overall we love our home. We got it for a good price. The neighborhood is great! The only complaints we have are typical for new builds. Because they are building so many and fast, they cut on cost with materials. The carpet and padding is on the lower end. The counters, while beautiful, are cheaper and stain easy. They pick lower quality wall paint so it marks up easy. Will have to replace carpet and paint in the near future.

The property is great. They got most of the issues before we moved in. Only small things popped up.

At the time of purchase everything went smoothly. However, at one time when it looked like our home in southern Oregon was not going to sell, we had thought we would have to cancel the purchase order. Instead of someone from Lennar contacting us to discuss possible options that could secure the house, no one contacted us. The refrigerator and sink are of mediocre quality for the price of the property. It was not an option to have outlets on the island. After moving in there were nails under the carpet, near the door thresholds. After several requests to fix the issues, the response was: "fix it yourself." The paint of the exterior was incorrect and when we tried to address that, we were met with indifference, almost rudeness of the officials. Overall, the home buying experience went well. Every person was very professional and courteous. Thumbs up to the employees. My house sits in a smaller subdivision. The lot I am in contains a very large Cotton Wood tree that should have been cleared by Lennar. The tree’s branches have already caused major damage to the small house next to me ( also new and has not sold) and resulted in one side of the house having to be rebuilt. If anyone from Lennar reads this please advise whom I need to contact to address the removal of the tree and leveling of my lot. When I asked about the property lines and the brush, dead trees I was informed by a Lennar Representative that it was to be left for drainage. This is not the case I found out with the township. The excavating and ground work was done very poorly and should have included leveling my lot . I am now left to fork out a large sum to properly clear and prepare my lot. The best thing I can say about it is that it is a nice looking house. I assume that because the houses are built quickly it takes a lot to keep up on quality control, but I just feel that you get what you pay for. It really feels like a nice starter home but not what I was hoping for in terms of quality. I understand that they have to save money to sell at the price point they are trying to keep but some things really feel cheap. The Home buying process is not like any other builder I have worked with. There is no flexibility or understanding from the company at all. It's their way or no way. This makes it difficult for someone selling one house and buying a Lennar house. It might be great for a first time home buyer, or someone looking for a retirement home. They have been responsive to warranty claims quickly so far. I do appreciate that service! ... Más

Plans showed a long main bath counter but came w a small one. Lennar made no effort to correct the mistake, except told me they would let me back out of the contract without fault. They claim it was a marketing mistake. Then they continued to show the incorrect plan for the new home. It was very disappointing during a time that was supposed to be exciting. Lennar Mortgage was great though. And it’s a home I could actually afford, so I can’t complain too much.

Lennar is a middle entry level home. The craftsmanship is poor, the materials are lower quality and they are non apologetic for the lack of quality. Their favorite line when you look at the poor paint jobs on doors, door frames, trim, etc is "stand six feet in front of it with normal lighting conditions and if you can't see the imperfection from there......well then it doesn't exist". If their subcontractors damage the trim while doing their job they don't replace the trim......they put bondo on it and repaint it. The problem is when you sand MDF is doesn't take a paint job the same way. Oh well. ... Más

The quality of the work put into a NEW Lennar home is VERY Subpar. In my 1st 2 months in my new home I have had the Warranty department here atleast 6 times. Wishing I would have Kept house shopping when I made the "Mistake" of buying Lennar

Overall poor experience. No attention to detail.
