Great house terrible customer service. Tammy wouldn't talk to us regarding our closing cost. Dishwasher had to be replaced, the fridge hasn't worked for a month and the microwave had to have the fan replaced. I battle geese leaving waste on my driveway and yard. This is a huge health hazard. Like I said love the house but now have to live in conditions that I didn't ask for and not getting help with. There were 75 geese that were counted in my yard over the last weekend. Please help me enjoy my new house. My neighbor has an infant that she has to stroll through ALOT of droppings just to take her child for a walk. ... Más

Never received call backs when requested, i always had to do a follow ups in order to move forward. basically i did the Job of a Real state agent with 0 commissions.

Buying a house in this market is tough. We were thrilled to get the house and at the price we did. However, the loan process was pulling teeth to get anyone to respond. I sat at closing for 5 hours because they messed up paperwork and were not prepared. Our house is beautiful but they definitely cut corners on thing. We have random cement piles they tried covering up in the backyard, cabinet doors were put on the wrong direction. Cabinet under the kitchen sink completely fell off. The home was not cleaned as stated prior to move in and there is paint marks on our carpet. Overall we are happy to have a home but definitely will not buy Lennar again. ... Más

I’m a little disappointed that the model home was sold as is. The house has definitely settled after being built and not attended to for the settling. There is nails starting to come through that was said nothing could be done. Treat the model home like a newly built home. The home had minor touch ups and was done very poorly. The garage that was redone after sale due to being the office was put up very fast and poorly. We waited 3 months for it to be finished and to see the result was very upsetting. I was honestly very surprised to see the touch ups so poorly done. The paint along the floor boards was poorly done and will need to eventually be fixed. I would think the model home you would take more pride in seeing its the home you show to prospects in hopes they decide to build. ... Más

There was tons of confusion on closing dates and who was helping us with the home buying process. Once we closed and walked in the floors were still dirty and the place had not been cleaned. It wasn’t terrible but it could have been better.

A lot of issues with doors, dead grasses, and sale lady never answer or reply email.

If possible monitor your home being built from start to finish. Look closely at your walk through - there are lots of discrepancies to pick out as the contractors used during the home build are not attentive to detail.

Bought a brand new home. A/C already needed fixed. Took 2 weeks to get done and the temperature outside was in the 90s. Also, two months in, we STILL don’t have access to a mail box. Two outlets have stopped working in the kitchen. Solar panels have still not been activated when they said they should be. Overall, disappointed in my overall experience of buying a half a million dollar home.

The entire friend end process to buying a home with Lennar was a nightmare dealing with Sandra, Amanda and their manager during the process to get approved for a loan. Had to be some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Steve Renshaw was the one exception to a breath of fresh air with his knowledge and professionalism. The home itself looked great and the project manager Dan was great to deal with. Upon moving in we've noticed a few more hiccups here and there, but overall satisfied with the home and neighborhood. They respond quickly to necessary repairs or maintenance

Agent was not very good about getting back to my realtor on the purchase of the home. Had to contact her more than once. Even had to go to a supervisor to get updates. Issues with electrical after I moved in. But can say very prompt on coming to fix.

I literally got approved 1 hour before scheduled closing, A totally horrific experience and ridiculous as i had been approved for double the amount 4 months earlier

Low rating due to poor experience with Lennar Mortgage.

I absolutely hated dealing with Lennar Mortgage, you kept checking my credit score which made it go lower in order to charge me a higher interest rate. Dealing with LM is like dealing with the devil. The worst experience I've had in many years.

The builders were great, the mortgage people were great but the initial sales rep, Andy, was a pain to work with making the overall experience terrible. I had to run down answers to my questions on the status of my house/lot several times and when questioning what the hold up was I was only ever told no updates. For a first time home buying experience it was pretty terrible.

Picking the house and putting the down payment was easy and getting financing wasn't hard for me. Then I was met with an extreme escrow office that accused me of being an investor because I have multiple houses. So, I canceled contract, I thought about it for a day and the house was a good deal, so I went back and did everything all over again, just to be told no by the same escrow officer. I got another lender and closed within 30 days without issue. I took me almost 3 months to buy this house all because the assumption of me being something I am not.

Title side and portal are not recommended. Plus 2% commissions is just wrong

We built a Spencer in 2022. Was disappointed that there weren't more options for a seniors living in next gen suite. After moving in, we had several issues. The first 8 weeks we had contractors in fixing something. Thankfully the warranty request process is easy and Lennar responds quickly. Overall really disappointed with tge overall craftsmanship of a nearly $500k home. I would not recommend building with Lennar.

I did not have a great experience with the sales office. There were many errors in the beginning. Also, I think some need more customer service training on how to answer questions. I was consistently told Lennar has all the control; the buyer doesn’t have a say. It’s very disheartening when you hear that over and over. The construction people were awesome!!!

The overall experience was on par with most mid-range builders. The one strange item and I wasn't told about this until we were getting ready to move in. Was that the window screens were not included. For an entire house of half screens is less than $300. It's very strange for a home that's almost $300,000 to not include the screens.

Not all staff are qualified for customer service, or dealing with problems. Since they did not solve the problem at the moment. They take a long time to respond

Everything was great until my close date was pushed back 3 times. I understand building materials have been scarce in the past 2 years so that wasn’t the main issue but the start. When I did the final walk through, the agent who did it was respectful but I believe deceitful as well. The front area of the home did not have power until she said “oh the breaker is off” when she flipped jt on everything worked for about 10 minutes. The electrician was there working on the breaker and even thought it was odd that the laundry breaker kept flipping. I submitted a warranty request where it took almost two weeks to have someone come out. Once that was fixed I submitted a warranty request for my front door (was an issue with the walk through but was told it would be fixed as well). The front door didn’t latch once closed. The wind, the two year old or the pull of one finger could open my front door. To lock it the door had to be held shut and locked (still wouldn’t latch). In the first month of owning this home I have submitted three warranty requests and about to submit a fourth for my bedroom fan/light fixture. My neighbors AC unit went out two days ago and they bought their home a week before me (early December ) . Am I next ? All in all I love the home , the lot but there are definitely some things that should have been done better (large scratches and cracks in my floor that weren’t there the morning of my closing when I left and people had to come in to finish getting the home done). Will I buy another home from Lennar? Most likely not. They have great looking home and people working for them but cutting corners when it’s someone’s home is not acceptable. I’m sure this review may get thrown in the trash or overlooked how all bad or non glorified reviews of companies are but to whoever is reading this, make the right decision and ask the right questions. My experience has not been the best from the beginning. The telephone tree kind of communication with the site manager and sales person in not getting the message right. I can go into details about how hard it was to talk to Chandra. Then the mortgage officer rarely listen to us and the constant missed opportunities of communicating on what was needed and not needed. The back and forward was confusing. Then I lost my VA opportunity in buying this home. That was just the beginning part of my his. Please call to find out more

This is a difficult review to write. While I love my home and am happy to finally be in it and somewhat settled, the process and experience getting here was very disappointing. The close date was moved multiple times. Often Lennar would blame outside sources but most times it was due to poor project management. The delays also cost me more money in the interest rate and escrow. Both my realtor and mortgage lender had to make several calls to get answers. Once I was moved in there were some minor things that I wished had been handled better. The first was the lack of cleanliness. The floors downstairs were covered in layers of red clay. Two months later I’m still trying to get it all up. The other was just the lack of attention to detail in some of the workmanship. There is more but for the moment I leave with the above. ... Más

Poor plumbing installation with 2 showers leaking on Day 1. Windows on first floor breaking after 1 month, cause uncertain. Bad experience with blinds/shutter installation from the Design Center vendor.
