closing day ,we just arrive the House was with the open doors ,, the dust was coming in ,, was sad because I was hope a great day for us an it was not, they repair the issues two weeks after closing,, hvac never had air filters,, the Hause was dirt dust everywhere ,, one hole drill in one bath why I dot kwon ?

Long story short, I was told several times that an irrigation system would be provided since that was part of what Lennar promised upon the original sales pitch. Multiple people assured me this would be ok and they would take care of it. Then 3 weeks before closing I’m told I wouldn’t be getting it….. If you don’t like it you can get a refund and go elsewhere. Horrible customer service. How can you trust a company that doesn’t make good on their promises? I even wrote my frustrations to the Lennar corp office. Didn’t even get a response. Im very disappointed with the integrity of LENNAR’s personnel. ... Más

We were given highly optimistic completion dates which sales knew would not be achievable. We felt that we were lied. We made accordingly.

Me and my friends are great fan of Lennar! But by buying experience was terrible!! I completely understand that pandemic has changed everyone's lives but shouldn't have impacted the buying experience. The sales team was rude, mortgage team was impatient and construction manager was contactless! Just that we need a house to stay close to friends, we have continued with the purchase if not would have quit.

Lennar knows it’s brand and knows it will get customers. Therefore, the have no care or put little value in the customers during the buying stage. With the Exception of Steve, the construction site manager and Lisa, the warranty manager. First, with Lennar, they screwed us over in the home pricing. They waited until the price went up to notify us that an option we had requested could be put in. We had come in a days prior to the price jump and we’re ready to pay the deposit had we had the confirmation. Then later on, as I’m trying to get my private home inspector ready to come out, Lennar required a contract to be signed by the inspector. A contract so strongly worded, that my inspector and 4 others said no. I’ve closed on plenty of homes and never had to sign this contract. Again, Lennar did not care and made my inspector sign the contract. When we went shopping around, Lennar was the only one with a one year warranty, all the other competitors had minimum 3 years full home warranty which allows the home to properly settle in. Lennar Mortgage is another team we had issues with coming 45 days prior to closing. Joe was really responsive and great to work with; however the team was trying to swindle us into a much higher interest rate, supposedly the market rate. When my wife and I did our own shopping we found interest rates almost matching the credit we were given for closing costs, and .375 pts lower. Lennar mortgage matched it, but costed us $1,000 points, or a loss in $1,000 credits. Lastly, working with Steve through the home buying process and after while also working with Steve has been Lennar’s saving grace. Those 2 have really put the brand on their back and are available whenever we need them to answer questions or help set up any tickets. I have had a few friends asking about buying out here with Lennar. I told them go to elsewhere, to which they did and have had a much more positive experience thus far. ... Más

House not competed on time. Cabinets scratched and never replaced. Closing process terrible

The builder could’ve done better with materials used to build the homes. Lennar at Woodcreek has slabs on the back of their homes but the Chamberlin community across the bridge does not even though the prices of the home were exactly the same. Lennar, build the street like $200k homes instead of $330k homes. If you look at other builders in the community, they’ve put in effort in providing the best stones and bricks. Lennar doesn’t care as long as they get their money. I’m disgusted and will be selling soon. Won’t be dealing with Lennar again. Unless they fix their mistake . 1 star Customer service is good when it comes to responding to issues in the home. I give them 5 stars. Underwriting was horrible. I should’ve walked away instead of sticking with them. -5 stars Watch out for the 2.8 % tax in the Fate, TX area. That’s about $600 added to your mortgage . 1 star ... Más

The process of building was enjoyable until you decided to send me surveys everyday!!!! I literally hate surveys. Quit sending them to me.

We have shared with some of the top people how aweful the communication process was and hope they take it to heart for the Orlando area. I’m sure this will never be posted so I’m not wasting my time to go through yet again how many issues and terrible the loan process to closing communications turned out to be. We understand delays if they are communicated but Were treated like we had no right to find out what was going on with our house. To understand the last straw, after our last walk through and are pulling into the the title company to sign, Brenda calls to ask why we are not closing to today as the construction company called to say they failed an inspection. We were just with them 30 minutes ago and they told us all go. Wasted time. Wasted plans. We were literally in the title building getting on the elevator to the office. When we finally closed and walked into the home for the first time, it was raining from the ceiling and the entire island and floors were soaked with water from the washer being connected wrong. We could not have had anything else happen except they accidentally ran over and bulldozed the house. We had friends build with Ryan at the same time and scheduled walk through and gave them informed weekly meetings. Unless Lennar revamps the model they use now to communicate I would never use them again. The house itself seems great with minor stuff still not done but that is another problem entirely with follow up and follow through. ... Más

Wrong key repairs not complete

Though we love our home, the warranty issues are not timely addressed. We have a builder hold up for our fence that we have been actively seeking a resolution to after 4 months. Would not recommend!

Not the most pleasant homebuying experience since this was my first home. Lennar needs to strongly improve their customer service, hire quality contractors to repair the home correctly the first time, and become more transparent with the homeowner about buying a house through Lennar.

This is my second home from this particular builder. My experience this time around was far most the worst experience. I would not recommend this builder.

Would not recommend Lennar to any home buyer...

We are very pleased with the layout of our home and the location, however, the home buying experience was terrible. The Lennar sales team did not take us seriously. The individual that worked with us during the sales process told us that there was only one “stick” left of homes in our price range… after a week of back and forth we found out that this wasn’t true, and there were two additional sticks that were unsold. They laughed at our questions and worries over making such a large investment in a home, knowing that we are first time home buyers, and said that this nearly $400k purchase would not be the biggest purchase of our lives so we should worry less about the quality of the build. Overall, we felt dismissed by the sales team due to the fact that we are young. We essentially sold the home to ourselves. There was a severe lack of communication and expectations delivery when it came time for us to do our final walk through. There were so many areas of the home that were rushed - from the painting to the carpeting. We found countless paint drips, areas of the carpet that were not stapled down, even the new fridge was dented. The building management team acted like they were doing “favors” for us to fix these items before closing even though we had every right to have these issues fixed prior to closing. When we had questions at this point in the process, it was very confusing whether we should talk to the sales team, building manager, or Lennar corporate. Once again, our concerns were dismissed at this stage and we were rushed to closing as if we were inconveniencing Lennar with concerns over the quality of our $400k purchase. In the six months since closing our water heater needed maintenance twice (the coils burned during the first week we moved in because the building manager left the water and turned off when it shouldn’t have been), a pipe in the master bedroom broke and leaked into our kitchen (the pipes were not properly molded together), and a toilet needed to be replaced. These were just the big items, there have been many additional smaller items that needed to be fixed (loose boards, medicine cabinet was put in backwards). All items were covered by warranty thank goodness, but this just shows how rushed these homes are built. We love our community, but fair warning that the process to buy, build, and close on these homes needs excessive improvement. ... Más

The agent who sold the house to me miss-led me.

The build of the house is amazing. The construction manager and employees are awesome. The realtor we were in contact with from Lennar was so helpful. Our lender with Lennar was awful. Communication didn’t exist with her. Would no recommend using Lennar lender to anyone.

Disappointed with Lennar construction of a home. The house I signed the contract on was not built according to my original specs. No communication on changes. In addition for a 55+ Community there should be standard entrance hand rails, more showers instead of bath tubs (safety purposes), and grab bars.

The lennar mortgage experience i was worst. The mortgage consultant from lennar tried his best not to provide the credit which lennar promised. Basically he tried to make money for lennar by not giving the credit that was promised to the consumer . Be very Careful when handling with lennar mortgage

My Lennar management team recommended a realtor group to me for selling my property. Shortly after I interviewed and agreed to work with them to sell my home, I was blindsided by that realty group being added to my Lennar contract. Through the seven months of attempting to sell my home with this recommended realtor group, I had an absolutely horrible experience with delayed or no responses, minimal efforts or outreach to sell. I wanted to fire them, but Lennar, without discussion or consent, added them to my purchase contract as my realtors, tiring my hands. Finally, post closing, the same realtors who should be guiding me through warranty, walkthrough(they completed because I was deployed), discrepancies and hoa questions, are nowhere to be found. Lennar gave me as much incentives and moved mountains for me to close, but the experience with the underhanded realtor group attached to my contract caused my property to not sell and me to close under duress and financial strains. I would not recommend Lennar to anyone with the exception of my agent. ... Más

I have not had a good experience at all. First they will send a very strick/condescending message that this has to be done in a week - this and that. When on says I will back off, they become very polite again. They push and force their lending agency. The Lennar title add some bloated changes the day of closing and then called a week later for some other bloated charge that they wanted to collect more. So, overall I feel I cannot trust them.
