Garage didn’t finish until last minute. Refrigerator has problems since August 2023. It is still not fixed yet. Lennar said will order a new one for me. But never did. Now I’m still waiting for fixing the refrigerator. Closing check documents have not sent to HOA. Don’t know when I can get it.

Terrible follow through on whole process

Zero communication. Lack of care in blue tape walkthroughs, unprofessional staff (ESPECIALLY at the Lennar regional level), shoddy craftsmanship. I can especially observe this watching all of the other houses get built around me in Guadalupe Heights in Seguin. Trash getting blown all around, builders trying to steal packages off my front porch, dirt and debris in the road. I will always tell people to avoid Lennar at all costs. Cutting corners should be Lennar’s slogan.

Home buying process felt rushed, our realtor also stated we would receive 2 ceiling fans which were never given. Was told we needed to sign a contract that very same day or else the interest rate and pricing of the home would increase the following day. We asked our agent to go through the contract with us prior to signing and he refused due to him being busy. We ended up having to visit the model home to have another agent explain the contract to us. We believed this was very unprofessional. The loan process required too many personal documents and there were too many contacts to keep ...

Brio, the home final walk-through, I made them aware of some issues of the flooring of the house and some other details. The day came of the final war. True they weren’t take care of the person in charge told me they were gonna take care of the same day came back after closing they were not taken care of it, plus I believe it was my underwriter. Wait until the last minute to actually start working on my lawn we were supposed to sign on in the morning didn’t sign into 809 at night time then the title company was sending my personal information.

Keys didn’t work to my new home. Went to pick up keys no one was there. They were at a party very poor communication. My son and I had to wait 3 hours for tech to make us new keys. Still waiting to see if you all are going to pay land taxes.

Just plain bad buying experience despite not even financing

Poor communication throughout the process. Failure of staff to communicate information and process things and respond to questions and queries in a timely manner if at all despite not even even financing the purchase. Poor complication at every level - sales, title, on site, etc….trying to get answers to anything during the process was someone kicking the can or passing the. Ucla to someone else who passed it to the next one and on and on. Also staff doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing or have the right information. Yup, overall just plain bad and glad it’s over.

When I came to Lennar I was looking for the home of my dreams a second home and I got stuck in a home that according to the Lennar seller was just an option and he force me to start the application and during the process he was going to help me to get in to the home I was looking, of course that never happened the guy really didn’t care . I love the idea of electronic signatures but I was constantly hunting people down to ask what's changed on documents I've already signed to the point where it was just an inconvenience. I spent hours reconciling before and after documents. I was also told certain things won't be changed, I belive it was the estimate document, because they are fluid. I'm sorry but I won't sign anything if it's not correct. Horrible experience!

The buying experience was terrible and the house has already had to get the air conditioner unit replaced. The air is CONSTANTLY messing up. The tile in the shower looks like it’s been done by someone who didn’t know what they were doing. Never again.

Very poor build quality and they don't care once house is sold

Things starts to break from day 1, quality is very poor. Kitchen cabinets have wholes and they will not take care by saying they can't do any thing. First rain brought water and some of things started to break... Worst quality material, they just want to close faster without even taking care all the things that we mention during walk through. Overall bad experience.

Painter sloppy, Tile floors marked up, dishwasher was not installed correctly… gaps in sliding doors big enough for mice to get through… I see the A/C repair guy at one house or another every day on my street.

Most of the experience was good with the exception of the closing process. They close of the house was delayed by a month or later. We were charged a rate extension fee through Lenar mtg and were told that this would be credited back and it never was. I tried following up on this several times only to get delay after delay which leads me to the thought that it’s really just a stall tactic until I go away. This has been a terrible experience when it should’ve been a great one.

Terrible overall experience. The salesman, salesman’s supervisor, concierge, Construction Foreman all were horrible. The lack of follow through and returning calls was unacceptable. The title company returned half of my calls until I closed then stopped returning my calls. Ken, who did the warranty walk through and sign off was great. I’m a seasoned investor and not a first time home buyer which is what they are used to dealing with. They prey on the ignorance of the buyer and don’t put the buyer first.

Terrible experience, first time home buyer. Our realtor was shocked and surprised, a lot of first for her. Weeks with out any info or communication, to then have these abrupt request. This and this needed within 48 hours. Every step of the way was a hassle and a pain. Even closing was a hassle. Home is great but the buying process was horrible. To the point that gave me second thoughts of purchasing.

My friend/real estate agent owned and sold many Lennar homes, so we had a first hand view into the process going into it. From start to finish communication was very poor and even worse within the Lennar team. Each individual we worked with was pretty good, but collectively it was a total mess. There are too many examples to give and I’ve already given Lennar so much of my time that I feel like I should be an employee. Throughout the whole process, they were threats of taking the house. They were just extortion of making us pay more money just because they felt like it forcing us to use their lender even though their lender would never respond to me sometimes at all or I will take four or five days. The sales rep was very short and disrespectful. All around a horrible customer service. They acted as if we did not matter and if something didn’t work out, they could just sell it to somebody else. They didn’t want to help us work through any issues. I just wanted to try to take the house from us.
