My experience with Lennar. Is very poor and disappointing. First I talk to the builder Lance about my sod water unit and I also talked to the Plummer that installed it before the plumbing went up. And told them I had a soft water unit they said it was going to be ok. And it was addressed and I had the system removed from my old home and brought down to the new house and they couldn’t install it because they never installed a bypass because the house has fire sprinkler, the workmen shop is very poor they have to keep coming out to repair issues, they installed carbon monoxide sensor. Very very poor workmanship

Workmanship is terrible. The grass in the garden is pretty much dead at this point. No toilet paper holders, shower rails, soap dishes, broken roof tiles, damaged windows screens, lamp on the front lawn doesn’t work, cracked/missing tiles in the driveway, unwired faceplates throughout the home, paint dripping over light switches/tiles, holes behind all light switches, loose fixtures in the all bathrooms, all windows blinds hung the wrong way, gaps in doors throughout the home, missing stucco all over the outside of the home, grass wasn’t placed Properly resulting in tripping hazards ...

I would highly recommend you get a plan, with dates on paper from Lennar. The weekly status updates were in the form of a phone call and if it wasn't for my notes from those, there would be zero accountability. We faced numerous delays which is to be expected with a new build but hit a series of catastrophic issues as we got closer to the close date. If Lennar would just be honest and pro-actively communicate the schedule and any change of schedule, it would help alleviate a lot of the frustration allowing home buyers to better plan for their move. Extremely bad experience

Horrible experience with a few employees that did their job well. Initial walk through of the home showed build quality and finishing touches were mediocre with cracked shower fiberglass to deep scratched windows to paint drops on the kitchen floor to drawers scratched. Kristine took care of it professionally and quickly. We have lived in our house for a month and have multiple large cracks in our sheet rock where the ceiling meets the wall. The home is beautiful but the whole experience of buying was horrible

I went into the first time homebuilding experience with an open mind and trust that what I was told I was getting in my new home was true. Turns out that some pretty important things that I expected to have in my home were taken away without Lennar telling me. They took both bath tubs out of my house and was told that it is a 55+ community and elderly people don’t want bath tubs…well I’m 60 I’m not elderly and elderly people have grandchildren and dogs to bathe then I come to find out that the models with three bathrooms have at least 1 tub in their house! The whole Lennar home buying experience was horrible. I would not recommend Lennar to any of my friends. If I wouldn't have lost so much money, I would have backed out of buying the home. From the start I was lied to about things and promise things that never happened. There are so many issues I came across from purchase agreement to roof leaking after moving in. So, in the end total disappointment from start to finish I would rate a zero on trustworthiness if I could

My overall experience with the company was beyond subpar. Once I signed the contract documents the entire process went downhill. From having several delays relating to everything from permits, building materials, inspections, etc… to the lack of transparency while providing updates. I always had to escalate the situation to find out simple answers. Once I switched lenders the mediocre service I did receive stopped also. I am still trying to have paint issues address that were denoted prior to closing. This was 19+ months of my life I could have done without.

Absurd I've worked with various Construction Managers prior to closing only to be given lip service. Rushed to close and issues never addressed. Now post closing 2 months later still attempting to get items resolved. Truly bad experience all around.

The Worst Home Buying Experience

Other home buyers should be welcomed by a properly trained manager able to assess and answer the multiple issues that normally arises in the process of buying a new property. This manager should shield the buyer from everyone of the Lennar employees that have little to no training on how to deal with Customers. I suggest to start training Mr Jaime from the Closing Coordination.

We paid a high price with a horrible interest rate for low quality work. Walls and windows weren’t all painted, glue on floor, screens to small

We paid through the roof with a almost 6% interest rate for screens that are too small, glue on floors, carpet padding missing in some spots, toilet shoots out water when we flush, not all window sills were painted. They used cheap chalk paint to paint. Honestly this house is not worth what we paid. Not to mention I can’t do anything or it will void my warranty so when I call the builders they are never available. Second Lennar home and Incredibly disappointed. I will never have a build with them again.

Poor workmanship, neglects the obvious defects in the house.

Unfortunately, I do not have a good review regarding the home construction, which is full of problems and defects-- and the list is long. Some workers simply should not construct anyone's home. Customer service and warranty as well as sales is responsive and professional, so hopefully the defects and problems in construction will be taken care of afterwards. However, a new homeowner should not have to plead and stress about the multitude of problems in the new build in a new community.

Not a happy home buyer

This should have been an exciting and happy time but it wasn't. The quality of the work is horrible. The frames around my doors look worse than the home I live in for 30 years. We were rushed into closing on the house and there is paint on everything. The cupboards are a mess. My last home was a new build and looked nothing like this one. Shame on you Lennar for making this a stressful experience. You have no quality control.

If I have to start again, I will only buy ready to move in house. We were promised to close our house house on march and we got the house on September. They delay it for 6 months. Because of that we are paying $850 more every month. Key hand over process is lame. I am buying a house not a toy. They handover the key at outside of the garage and he/she left the welcome goodies bag on the floor. It was awful.

I knew coming into this that buying a house can be stressful but it definitely could be better with the right help. When i went to see the house Ana was good, however the second i was moved to lennar mortgage the nightmare began, the loan officer Wesley he eas good at the beginning, then there was a LOT of miscommunication, changes of information and to make it worse to be honest i felt i was gaslighted towards the end, putting me in a position where i had no choice but to buy. Before we put our NON REFUNDABLE down payment of 5% of the purchase price everything was great. Communication was good. New home consultant was always on the ball replying to text message quickly and always avail to answer questions. After the deposit however is a different story. Horrible, will not buy from Lennar ever again

The issues started as soon as I closed, faulty main door (not locking nor closing), missing components inside the house, missing cabinets, food left in the fridge by the crew, there about 18 items still not completed by Lennar. And of course the promised of reimbursing for my expenses for the faulty main door was 6 weeks the estimated amount to get the money back and of course, nothing.

First Time Home Buyer with Lennar

My experience with the property manager of my new development was not a pleasant one. I was unable to reach him most of the time and when I did he was very short with me as if I was inconveniencing him with my questions. I also experienced a huge delay in my closing time which was due to covid but when I did close one of the window fixtures had still not been put on the home and is currently still missing. My Lennar loan officer on the other hand was amazing and provided me with all the information I needed and the construction team has also been very responsive.

This was by far the worst experience purchasing a new home with any new builder and the worst interior finish of any new home we have purchased over the last decade. Issues started right after signing the contract - a home that was listed as “quick move in” suddenly was only available only 3 months later and then eventually was closed after 7 months. I had 3 rate lock extensions. After we closed the home, the house was essentially delivered as unfinished.
