Sales person was terrible with unprofessional attitude and manner No update about the progress, never heard back from him the moment we paid the deposit.

DO NOT SEND US MORE EMAILS OR DO NOT CONTACT US ANYMORE. Lennar is the worst company to work with. I will encourage all my friends not to use you as an option.

Felt like everyone in Lennar is too busy.

It started with a walk-through well before the house was ready, and multiple things not finished. I felt like the closing date was forced in order to get the sale in May. Still working on things that should have been done before the close. Even after multiple visits from the landscaper, yard is still in terrible condition.

Thank you Lennar for a really unique experience. We signed the purchase agreement in late October 2021. The home was already under construction so we were told it would be complete in the middle of January 2022. We sold our existing home fast and decided living in a hotel for two and a half months would not be that bad. Construction delays and material shortage kicked the actual close date to May 27, 2022. We were homeless for 7 months! Every step along the way we felt deceived and lied to. When we would talk to the customer representatives they would always say “Thank you for not yelling at us”. I would always wonder why a company would put its sales staff in line for customer abuse. We finally had a walk through of the “completed” house and found hundreds of poor fit and finish items that needed to be addressed. Almost none of the issues were properly addressed by Lennar before closing. My Wife’s new part time job is to submit complaint tickets and schedule repairs. We have had plumbing problems, HVAC problems that are still ongoing, cabinet faults, cracked tiles, The closing day was a mess no one knew if our house had actually closed. Now a month later we discovered that Lennar did not pay our home insurance at closing. They sent our home insurance payment to a different insurance company! We had to bring up the error to Lennar and they took 3 weeks to fix the problem. Bottom line. I will tell everyone to avoid Lennar for their future homes. I will never do business with them and I regret every step of this home buying experience. ... Más

Mixed results From the sales department, we received miss information. Multiple information was incorrect. Downright incorrect. Also left out good things about the house that we didn’t even know about.. We feel there were changes made to the house and the sales person was never informed. The construction manager and sales person gave us a closing date. Your corporate closing coordinator move the date forward by three weeks and Cost us thousands of dollars and the house was not ready. In addition to that, whoever was in charge of the paperwork was nowhere near ready to have all these homes closed at the same time. After waiting for hours to close, we threatened to pull out of the deal and then miraculously the paperwork was found. On a positive note, working with Aaron and Shelley has been a pleasure and a relief because they have bend over backwards to make things right. There is a lack of quality workmanship from your trade partners. I still have a list of mile long of things that need to be corrected. I’ll let you know in the next survey how well that goes. I just want you to know how close we came to getting out of buying this home because of your closing coordinator and people involved with the paperwork on the deal. ... Más

Moving through purchasing a new construction, the team at Lennar promised throughout that a physician loan would be possible. Two weeks ahead of my closing date, my loan officer informs me that the team at Lennar did not complete Fannie Mae paperwork required in order to finalize the loan. The team was unable to provide a reason as to why they were not submitting the paperwork, and ultimately I was forced in the last two weeks to gather an additional 17% of the house value in order to close with a non-physician loan. Stay away.

Lennar is is no way, shape, or form Customer Friendly. No choices or changes at all. "This is what you get and forget about making or requesting even the slightest change". No communication or updates forthcoming from the Lennar reps. Delay after Delay and no real concern or care on their part.

Lennar Title was the worst I’ve worked with and I almost backed out of the purchase because of them, Lennar didn’t pay real estate commission to my realtor so they got free labor but after I purchased, now they offer commission because the market has tanked, they take more than 2-3 weeks to respond to simple post purchase fixes needed. They keep sending surveys but do nothing about the feedback they receive. Interior doors are nice upgrade, appliances are middle quality except dishwasher is lowest quality available. Construction of the house itself is thankfully good but they cheapened out on the smallest things (no washing machine pan for second floor washing machine, kitchen faucet and water filter are cheap). The whole buying experience was terrible. There are plenty of other builders who provide a better experience for the same type of house. ... Más

Extremely unreliable company. Creates time hacks and does not follow through. Issues all over the house ranging from wall paint chips to doors that don’t even close. Terrible

We went under contract six months prior before the home was finished. Im married. We made the offer under my name, but for investment purposes, we wanted to have my wife be on the house instead of myself. This is a simple process, it just needs to be approved by the builder. Literally we had sent them the document and all they had to do was sign it to get it done. We tried to do this a few months before close, but the Lennar denied. And it wasn’t like my wife didn’t have the qualifications. She was pre-approved and we would’ve closed on time. I think that because the value of the house went up, they were looking to have us drop out by not willing to work with us in hopes to sell it to someone else and keep our builders deposit of 10%. It was just bad service. We ended up closing on the property and I stayed on the house to get it done, but it was a simple request that they didn’t work with us on. Bad service. Worst buying experience in my life 7 months late, incomplete at time of closing,still have a dozen open items on the to do list. Can’t get a return phone call

This is our second home with Lennar and I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. Lennar Mortgage was more interested in finishing their paperwork a month out rather than handling things at a proper pace. My husband felt harassed by them. On closing day no one bothered to contact me to sign documents. I had to make phone calls to get an appointment. I’ve had to put in numerous work orders because our house of shoddy workmanship. I’m still waiting on resolution on items.

Realize at present it is a sellers market, but we were given very little imput into what we would like in the property. Advised there would be a “few” steps leading to them main entrance & ended up with 16!!. Width of steps 36 inches, we requested they be widened to 42 inches enabling easier access for our furniture (damaged when being delivered) but advised not possible only to see properties being built now have 42 inch steps. Sales rep. advised she showed every prospective purchaser picture of properties showing steps, unfortunately not true as we & certain neighbors were NEVER shown, in fact the pictures we received prior purchase as advised by construction department was of houses not actually built in our subdivision. Even entrance from garage to house has 10 steps & garage ceiling 19 ft high, how do we change the garage light bulb when requires changing? Garage had to be extended by 2ft to accommodate 2 cars, house advertised as 2 car garage then sales rep. advised it was a 1 x full size car + 1 x compact car, no mention of this in the Lennar literature. Closed on property 04.04.2022., 8 weeks ago & still waiting for glass shower screen to be installed in Master Ensuite Bathroom, internal stairs wrought iron work to be rectified to meet building code & correct installation of dish washer. Every time it rains yard flooded from property at rear, advised when property at rear “sodded” this will rectify problem, but not certain this is the answer & believe a retaining wall is required & agressive grading. Actually an accident waiting to happen as young children could easily be swept away once the water breaches the plastic sheeting presently installed. We have previously purchased new properties & never ever experienced a purchase so one sided in favor of the seller & information provided by the sales rep. proving to be so inaccurate & then actually denied having been said when queried! You obviously should have gathered we have not been impressed by the whole property purchasing process & would definitely NOT recommend anybody to purchase a Lennar built home. Remember it won’t be too long before it switches from a sellers market to buyers market & if Lennar’s corporate office/sales team don’t change their ways of dealing with future purchasers can’t honestly see them selling many homes!! ... almost 3 months behind schedule even though all supplies were here, would tell us 2 more weeks so we checked everyday, no one was working on house. When we were told a home inspection which we were paying for could be done work in house was not finished you didn't even have a water meter here. One wall had no electricity at all, we were told it was repaired and it wasn't. So many things not taken care of from final walk thru and house was not cleaned. Not sure what ever happened to customer satisfaction but Lennar has none. Neighbors on both side's had same sort of issues. Nice homes but will never buy another one due to lack of caring if your issues are handled or not. ... Más

Get your money and drop you as fast as they can. Been asking for items to be fixed for over 6 weeks without any progress. Started fixing items myself. Reported a water leak over 4 weeks ago and still waiting for anything to be done. Have no idea what damage that is causing. Still waiting on painting to be done and the gutters leak water everywhere but where they are meant to put it. Very sad buying experience!

The expected construction time was way off time (almost 4 months earlier). I had to pay over $4,500 as penalty to my previous renters/realtor. I rented based on initial estimate giving by Lennar. I felt I was rushed to close the house. Even when I asked, I never was invited to see house while constructed (most of my neighbors where able to see and experience along their hose construction). I was only given pictures of the process. Houses in the neighborhood were received with welcome balloons, congratulation signs as well as a welcome gift which I never received. Now I been living here for a month or so, absolutely love it but my sidewalk is constantly flooded with dirt, sand and water making it very frustrating because it seems that all the neighbors water gets stuck in front of my house. It is very annoyed when you want to enjoy your front house with small children's and a dog. I am very concern about them playing safety as well as all the bugs population growing drastically in that area. The house sidewalks is and looks dirty an uninviting. This is my first and forever home and I am very disappointed on my experience. ... Más

Once the home is purchased get some outside help to identify problems during walk through

Really bad experience with the Lennar corporate office. They move slow and are always 3 steps behind the title company, sales office, agents, and CMs

Please keep away from Lennar. They tell you one thing and then do something in the back. When questioned, they say, "oh my mistake" etc or delegate that messaging to someone else. No one really takes responsibility for the mistakes.

The whole experience was a struggle from the start. The house was started and then sat for 2 months while nothing was done. I was given bogus reasons, like the lumber was stolen. Only to confirm later that wasn't the case. A manager had order the wrong lumber, instead of fixing it try to cover it up. Which led to further miscommunication and further delays. Two windows were installed completely broken. I pointed this out months in advance, the week of closing it was still unrepaired. Finally the day before it was fixed after I had to nearly threaten to sue the building manager. I wouldn't recommend building with Lennar, unless you really like the home and community. And if you do, be ready for a giant headache. ... Más

Closing process was poorly managed, unprofessional.

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION !WE WERE NOT INFORMED ABOUT A DELAY ON OUR HOME BEING BUILT UNTIL WE MADE LENNAR AWARE THAT OUR HOUSE WAS RUNNING MONTHS BEHIND.... WE CLOSED 2 MONTHS AFTER THEIR "WORST CASE SCENARIO DATE". THEY HAVE TOO MANY PEOPLE INVOLVED AND THEY DO NOT COMMUNICATE WELL WITH EACH OTHER OR THE CONSUMER... MAIN PROBLEM IS ETTA , HE A SALESMAN AT LENNAR AND TELLS EVERYONE THAT LENNAR STANDS BEHIND WHAT THEY DO, BUT THATS NOT THE CASE... THEY HAVE SCREENED IN PORCH AS A STANDARD FEATURE ON ALL OF THEIR HOMES IN WILLOW SQUARE. ETTA TOLD US THEY DID NOT INCLUDE IT IN OUR ORDER AND THAT THEY WILL NOT INSTALL IT, EVENTHOUGH THEY HAVE INSTALLED EVERYONE ELSES IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, AND SAID WE COULD FIND SOMEONE TO INSTALL IT FOR AN ADDITIONAL $1500.00 TO 2,000.00 DOLLARS. WE GO TO OUR CLOSING AND WAITED 3 HOURS TO GO HOME HEARTBROKEN AND CONFUSED. ETTA WOULD NOT ANSWER HIS PHONE WHILE WE WERE WAITING, AND WHEN HE FINALLY DID - 3 HRS WAITING AT THEIR OFFICE - HE SAYS THE COUNTY DID NOT SIGN OFF ON A FORM.... AND NO APOLOGY , OK ATLEAST TELL US INSTEAD OF HAVING US TAKE OFF WORK FOR NOTHING! AFTER WE CLOSED AND MOVED THEY FAILED TO INSTALL SEVERAL THINGS AND REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR ONLY TO GET AN ANSWER FROM ETTA SAYING THERES NO USE, I HAVE ALREADY ASKED THE MANAGER , AND THAT I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER... THEY ALSO RAISED THE PRICE DUE TO " MARKET CONDIITIONS" AND TRIED TO PLAY A GAME OF BIDDING WARS EVEN THOUGH THERE WERE NO OTHER BUYERS BIDDING, THEY JUST SAID THIS IS THE NEW PRICE - 30K HIGHER THAN ADVERTISED. SO IN SHORT THEY DO NOT MAKE ANY GOODWILL TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY, AND TELL THE CONSUMER WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR! ... Más

Poor workman ship Had to request VP sales to assist me to get things fixed
