I felt rushed to move in, so that Lennar can show a completed sale despite the home was rushed. The home also had materials and parts removed to finish other homes in the series and when the contractors replaced parts back the quality control was compromised with re installation. Should have informed my lawyer to get involved with write contingencies before I sign off the walk thru. Felt like things were purposely hidden. should have never signed off in good faith things would be addressed. felt duped and lied too. Now moved in close to two months in and don’t feel comfortable inside my home. cannot even enjoy since the cabinets have missing hardware missed drilled holes, compromised installation, no quality control and tile has stains that were never buffed out. Our Lennar customer service rep is ok but the manager or foreman is a complete lack there of and never double checked worked. ... Más

I would never in my life recommend buying a home with Lennar to my worst enemy. From the sales rep, Orin, being so uniformative and having horrible communication. I actually lost out on the same house I purchased that couldve been $20,000 less but in the middle of signing and trying to pay earnest money Orin stopped responding and we lost the house. I've never even met the "man" in person. We were never told about the ONLY 20ft of grass and found out on our final walk through with no option to add more. Next headache I suffered was Natasha W in the loan or mortgage side. Absolutely repulsive behavior by yelling at my fiance on the phone with our realtor also on the phone. Natasha and Orin made this experience a 1/10 solely by themselves. But if we had to add more I would also tell you how reckless, careless, and lazy, the construction crew is. Our house was near completion and we found cigarettes all throughout our (pretty much finished) home. Beer bottles in the bath tub. Holes busted in the walls. Putty smeared on the livingroom windows. And yes we have photos of all of this and we did send them into the construction manager and it took a few times of us complaining and explaining that this is our home and we deserve to have a little respect shown. This was the absolute worst experience I could have ever imagined how a first time home buying would be. We have so many friends that love this neighborhood and were looking to buy in guadalupe heights and we turned them away to save them headache heartache and misery. The only "good" people I can say is our Realtor Allison, Jose who did our walk though and sweet Wes for being so kind and understanding even when he didn't know what to do. ... Más

It is obvious that Lennar is rushing to close their units and get the payment as soon as possible. Most condos are released with many deficiencies. At first the builder crew was responsive in attending some major finishing issues but after 3 months since closing they dont even answer calls or reply to messages. Very disappointing

Too many issue overlooked. I don’t really know why they have a construction manager if that person is not going to supervise. Here is the list of some of the issues we had the first 2-4 weeks after closing. Gas leak, broken septic tank, electrical issues, Dishwasher was broken during installation (it leaks) really poor drywall finish where you see all joints, poor workmanship for all finishes. Honestly this does NOT feel like a new home. It’s been a headache from day one. In my opinion Lennar is like a fast food restaurant. I will never recommend lennar!!!!!

I would advise people look to other builders. Lennar is a joke, the salesman destroyed any hope I had and refused to meet us. When we closed I basically demanded he not show up to hand us our keys. The construction manager is nice as hell and very responsible but always running around having to put out fires from the crappy work these subcontractors do! If you see a Lennar sign… keep driving! Don’t stop and look and end up loving the area and home… because dealing with these clowns is not worth it.

I closed on my home in Feb 2023. Prior to closing, I found items in one of the closets. This is a new build, no one should have left anything in one of my closets! A few weeks later, I had a sewer backup in my half bath that saturated half of my livingroom. The issue was baby wipes that were flushed. When I took photos of the items in my closet, there was a pack of baby wipes with the items. This happened over a month ago and I'm STILL trying to get this situation taken care of. That's just one issue....it takes forever to get things done (punchlist) that were supposed to be completed prior to closing. I have a countertop in my kitchen that has a huge imperfection in the granite that they will not replace. My home was supposed to have glass not a shower rod in the master bath. One of the sinks in the master bath has a crack from the drain to the granite countertop. I can go on and on, about this nightmare. This is my first home and I'm full of regrets!! Haven't lived in the home for a full month yet and is already wanting to sale it! I paid a lot of money for this home and it was built with scraps by unskilled workers! Don't do it!!!! If you do end up so desperate that you purchase a Lennar Home, take photos of EVERYTHING! ... Más

The whole experience with Lennar has been a nightmare. Dealing with the construction manager and his boss was a horrible experience. On the first walk through we used 2 rolls of blue tape for the discrepancies. Then things went downhill from there! The tile was messed up in both bathrooms shower areas, with a long list of other issues. Then 10 days later, I went back to do the walk through to close on the house and there had not been 1 thing done to correct the issues. There was drywall issues, paint issues, concrete issues, then paint issues on the outside of the house, roof issues, then lawn issues where they had to replace the entire lawn because no one watered the lawn. Then they were wanting me to close on the house with all the issues not being resolved. They had 3 people pressuring me to sign off on the house, which I would not do till all the issues were resolved. Which now after living there I have received a $1,700 water bill, with another $1,100 - $1,400 water bill the following month. All because Lennar hooked my Irrigation System to the main water meter and did not hook it up to the reclaimed water meter. So, the Irrigation system got billed for the water and then the sewage. I had the Zephyrhills water company come out, and he showed me that I have had a reclaim water meter but it was never hooked up to the irrigation system. Now, dealing with the Lennar warranty people are non-responsive to this urgent issue of a $1,700 water bill that even the water company said was Lennar’s responsibility. Lennar people make all these promises and then they never follow through with any commitments. This is the Lennar homes in Abbott Square neighborhood. So, at this point I would NEVER buy another house from Lennar Homes. Buy at your own risk, and inspect and double check everything before you close! ... Más

The first wind storm the shingles are flying off the roof. The refrigerator that came with the house has a box cutter gash down the handle two big scratches on the left side on the right side. It doesn’t make ice and it sounds like it’s a car parked outside of my house all night. Lenar says they are not responsible and Frigidaire says they’re not responsible. The house came with ring security system. All of it installed upside down on every door. The window coverings put up very poorly. Someone can see in my bathroom window easily. The garage door has a dent and it does not lock.Sad

During our closing day we walked in on painters touching up spots. The new home experience was completely taken away from us and nothing was done to make it more memorable. Most recently, as we started planing our basement work to finish our basement we realized that the water heater was placed just in a random spot that takes away square footage from the future bedroom. The reps told me because the house came with an unfinished basement the water heater can get placed wherever . It would be nice to have the water heater moved or be compensated for losing square footage.

Do NOT buy from Lennar!

Lennar needs to better responding to issues post move in. Person in charge of reviewing work completed by the trades need additional training. Many issues that were to be resolved after our move in are still not addressed. Have notified people in the front office, two guys that worked with the walk through and have submitted on line requests.

Our overall experience was very disappointing. The contractors did very sloppy work. From the paint droppings all over the floor, to uneven handles on every kitchen cabinet, every outlet and switch cover crooked, broken pavers around pool. Uneven lawn with dead sod, irrigation system not approved by HOA. Uneven seam on granite counter top and the cheapest home appliances they could find. Lennar warranty service has only addressed 25% of our complaints and others work orders have been ignored.

Complete nightmare. From finance to HOA to builder response. We will tell all to never buy lennar

from the sales person to the closing table; not what is expected lies and excuses... you most love the walkthrough before closing and see items hold by tape... 3 weeks after closing and items weren't fix.

The workmanship is the worst I have ever seen. The follow up is almost nonexistent. Customer service is slower than slow. It takes for ever just to get a return call.

It really sucked very bad. Call corporate to find out why

Items in the home were removed without my knowledge, and when I questioned it after purchasing, I was told that they were removed. No one follows up after money is transferred .

Buyer beware of what you are getting into with Lennar at Lorraine Lakes. Poor communication from Bobbi the sales agent, a terrible experience with Fernando the "construction manager" and deception from both individuals when it came to the closing issues on our new $700k+ home. It is our dream home in our dream neighborhood. But we never dreamed we would have such a poor experience buying a home this expensive. 6 weeks after closing, we are still awaiting resolution on issues that were identified at our walkthru and were supposed to have been fixed within 24 hours of closing. Our home is sloppily constructed. Evidence of poor workmanship is present in every room. The master shower floor is being scheduled for a complete removal and replacement after having been re-grouted 2x already post closing. Kitchen cabinets being ordered for replacement. Our cooktop is not permanently mounted and slides freely in its opening, scratching the quartz (and warranty refuses to address it). Our carpet in our closet was not completed for 3 weeks after closing. Broken tiles, whole sections not caulked. Just a nightmare of problems. Fernando built a poor version of a beautiful house, was arrogant and difficult to communicate with and chose to throw a hissy fit and stomp out of our only walkthru when we made our concerns known. The warranty team has been struggling to keep up with all our tickets. We have so many outstanding issues I have a hard time keeping them all straight. At least Heather in the warranty dept seems to care and answers the phone and emails about half the time. Once they have your money and you close, you lose all leverage. Beware. ... Más

Poor quality workmanship throughout our entire house and poor communication and followup. We moved in almost 2 months ago and some issues still have not been fixed/worked on. Will never recommend a Lennar home to anyone.

This house is nothing but issues from the beginning. I would never ever ask anyone to buy a home with Lennar again. Just bad communication with everything and cheap product.

The whole buying experience was horrible. Once I moved in I found so many issues with the house. The AC drain line was not connected so there was water damaged and the dryer vent pipe was not put it. They had to cut the walls and fix the water damage and it took a month to fix.

My kitchen cabinets are still not finished and I have 13 cracked travertine pool times that are cracked, also on driveway paver is cracked. I should not have closed when I did. I trusted and never again

Craftsmanship was horrible. We were so depressed with the process. The finishing work is terrible, cabinets crooked, floors not done well, paint everywhere, windows mismatched and low quality, fixtures not installed right. Cheap, cheap, cheap. I do not know how you can increase prices and decrease quality. It’s very sad but everyone should be warned

I closed on my home in February of 2023 and have had multiple issues come up... cracks appeared between the walls and ceiling, flooring lifted up and cracked. spaces showing between floor boards, that was explained as "acceptable" as long as you cant fit a credit card between the spaces. Shoddy paint jobs, and it takes 2-3 weeks to get anything scheduled to try to get the issues fixed. When you say something, you're made to feel like you are imposing on them to fix things that should have been fixed before closing. For the supposed walkthru, was told "you just look for the paint issues, and we will take care everything else. Being a new homebuyer I stupidly trusted them, and when I walked into my house after closing, find all kinds of things that should have been done. squeaking doors because they didn't fit the door in correctly to the door frame, and now the frame needs to be shaved. the Garage door has a wide crack on one of the pipes that hold the bay, and when I pointed it out, was told "that's the way they all come like that". Totally wish I could go back in time and tell myself to NOT take this house. NOT worth the headaches I am going through just trying to get things fixed the way they should be, the way they should have been before I even moved in. I am NOT satisfied with my purchase, and if I knew of a way I could get out of it, I would take it in a heartbeat, Its my opinion that NOONE should purchase a LENNAR home unless they are a handyman and are willing to work on the house yourself to fix the problem they seem to refuse to want to fix. Once they hook you into buying you are no longer important. Our concerns are placed on the back burner. Been waiting 6 wks. for weeds to be cut and grass to be planted. House looks like a jungle outside. Even had a snake show up. Sprinkler has been on and never shut off .6 wks. and still receiving guests to a rocky and weedy front yard.
