Staff was 30 minutes late to walk through. Rude to me during walk through. Did THREE walk throughs for paint issues and they still never fixed many of the horrible looking spots on walls and baseboards. My $601,000 home looks like an absolute joke! Not to mention, I did not have a working oven for the first month of living here. Also, they were not prepared with paperwork and therefor made me wait at the attorneys office on my closing day for several hours. I would not recommend Lennar to my worst enemy.

I bought a beautiful townhome on the water in south Tampa. Lennar promised a luxury experience, and the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. That was two years ago. Delay after delay after delay, finally we started the closing process. The build quality was terrible, and they were doing their best to minimize our concerns and rush the closing. They would just decide when our closing was, with no regard to our schedules. My “homebuyer consultant” Sonia was increasingly difficult to contact as closing approached. She lied about multiple things, and ultimately disappeared. Pretty certain their agenda was to get us to request our deposit back and move on. Nonetheless we pushed through and closed, only to find countless quality issues that one should never expect to find in a home of this price. The building manager Dan has been evasive and aloof, and even when he gets things done they are done poorly and incorrectly. So now I’m going through the warranty process to address all these issues, and it is a constant fight to get anything done. Long story short, Lennar has been a nightmare. The townhome is nowhere near the level of quality and luxury we expected for the price, and I’m one second away from filing a lawsuit. Overall, not what I expected. Sadly, Lennar was once a decent home builder, not any longer. Lennar are now all about the bottom line and keeping shareholders happy - a production builder! I owned a Lennar home in Wellington, Florida and Colorado. Both were decent homes. This home has been pulled apart within the first month of closing. The drywall removed to correct simple issues. Ones that the superintendent should have addressed during construction. I love the layout of the home but the level of workmanship leaves much to be desired. After one month of living in the home and trying to unpack, whilst dealing with drywall dust, I gave up for a few days. Drywaller’s, trim carpenter, painter all coming and going. Still a long list of ‘warranty’ issues EXCEPT these are not warranty issues. These are problems from before closing. I found a 4 page QA sheet that specified due to be rectified by 19 April! Did not happen. So now, I have to deal with a long list of items that the superintendent did not address before closing. The yard is being torn out today! The sod was installed and not watered sufficiently and I was told to give it time! When you have a couple of watermelon plants in your yard and one has a watermelon growing, you know there is an issue! The sod was installed on 17 April and looked good. Downhill from there. The sod company are professional but like homeowners have to deal with, they have to stay within the Lennar ‘boundaries’! The closing was planned for 26 April, then pushed back and then brought forward again. I lived in Colorado and had all of my belongings on a moving truck in storage. I had to keep changing the date with the company. I moved to Florida and closed on 5 May (whilst I had paid for 4 hotel stays beforehand) and then had to rent an Airbnb for 10 days as Lennar had messed me around so much. The truck was scheduled to arrive 20th May and I ended up moving into home on 15th May and sleeping on a mattress with camping chairs. I asked if Lennar could, at least, comp me for a couple hotel nights - crickets! Push, push, push to close and at one point I was ready to walk away from the $59k deposit! I was beyond frustrated. What should have been a new start in my life, has turned out to be a nightmare situation. Lennar do not work uniformly with all of the trades and the homeowner suffers. Customer service should be pivotal in this experience and sadly it is not! A homeowner should not feel like they are ‘one’ against ‘all’, yet that is my experience. I have been GC on two home remodels - one was a 7,700 sq ft home that took 11 months. I know true workmanship. I am experienced and know what is acceptable and what is not. What happened to you Lennar? What did you decide that quantity overcame quality? I would not buy a Lennar home again and wish I had bought an existing home and not a new build. ... Más

Lots of things at home aren’t working Soap dispenser in kitchen None of the ring devices are working except for door bell (the device says already in use) Landscaping was done worstly Lots of water down pools on the concrete And the road behind our house One the window board was broken And lots of things other things I cannot get in this notes I had worst sales experience, there lots lies and cannot keep the promises. This is my second Lennar home and I am definitely there won’t be third Lennar. I am sure I am not recommending to any of my friends.

While closing I brought of multiple items to their attention to fix issue but they never fixed it. One of issue caused water leak after closing the house. Construction quality is so bad. Warranty support is too bad. Send some handyman to fix all types of issues. He does not know gravity of the issue. So I do not recommamd lennar to anybody with this experience.

This is my second home with Lennar in the past 4 years. Closed in April, still have not been able to move into my home. Expenses have multiplied however no home. No one takes responsibility and no one held accountable. They force you to close on a home that is not completed with the high quality Lennar sells people on. Completely dissatisfied.

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. The craftsmanship and quality of work are subpar to say the least. External doors installed incorrectly, closet doors damaged or not even installed, bed and bath doors hung wrong. The drywall and paint were just slapped up with no attention to detail. Windows installed, but don't actually lock. The QC team marked things to be fixed, but they never were, nor was the house/floors cleaned prior to us closing. If we could give them 0 out of 5, we would.

Is the worse experience I had, water was coming inside the house when raining through the windows I reported to everyone and my husband had to fixed almost a month and nobody has follow up this issue. The house was with the tapes pending things to be fixed and dirty at the time of the walking through before closing. I am still waiting….BAD.

I have been dealing with issues in house build since i purchased the house. Water has been sitting in water meter for weeks, no solution has been provided under warranty only workaround has been given. Finding missing electrical outlets. Bad grading done, improper landscaping. cheap quality porch door. Finding cracks in dry wall close to electrical outlet which tried to hide by paint.

Once you close they pretty much ignore you. My sod died within a month and they told me it was my fault for not watering it. They did not cover sod.

Worst experience I ever had buying a home. Most unprofessional, disorganized don't care attitude I have ever encountered. The only thing they are interested in is getting your earnest money, afterwards the worst customer service ever. I will never buy another home from these people. Difficult to get a response from, dealing with people in Arizona, Texas and Florida at the same time was a complete nightmare.

This has been awful. I have submitted a complaint to corporate already regarding the experience. We were lied to. Pressured. Lied to some more. Not given proper communication. Pretty positive we have retaliation from the sales and construction managers. No one has contacted us and we will be contacting the Better Business Bureau because of the lack of care.

The quality of home is one of the worst new builds I have ever seen. Lvp floors are not level all over the house and feel extremely hollow because they are floating floors. They make noises with every step and are really loud. Drywall is bowed all over the place, baseboards are also bowed all over the place, counter top island is also crooked and not straight, paint job is terrible and sticking and peeling everywhere, paint and drywallis cracking in every window, the paint is not smooth and feels like sandpaper, touch up paint is a completely different color being used in the house when they "fixed" items during closing. Carpet seams showing (which we were lied to saying it was not a seam, however further inspection shows it is a seam), also drywall seams showing, exhaust vents leak when raining, hvac shakes the whole entire house, noises all over the home. Walls are extremely thin with no noise dampening and water can be heard draining throughout the house. Subfloor feels like its not nailed to anything. Worst part is, these are all supposedly "normal" and within standards. I have yet to see a part of the house that looks normal. Quality control seems to be lacking and the responsive to issues is also almost non-existent. The worst part about the home would be the bowed walls and crooked baseboards and the floors as they are extremely un-level, and feels like youre walking on lumps with every step. The warranty system for the home is also one of the worst as alot of fixes are one-time fixes for the year. If you have issues with the home the moment you move in, you will have to deal with the issues until the one year comes up. ... Más

If you close in spring done expect your yard to be graded, your sprinklers to go in, or to see your sod anytime soon. I was PROMISED I was first on the list when that came. That was in April. It’s 90 degrees in June and I continue to look at a mound of dirt, weed bushes up to my chest, and ricks where my grass should be. It’s a joke. Don’t give them a dollar if you ever want service from Lennar. I avoided writing this review, but they kept asking for one. So, here we are.

Javier from Lennar Loan processing has created a very stressful and not pleasant at all. The loan processing and interest rates were delayed and once we were pushed to the corner , they didnt leave us any option but to take the loan. He misguided us when we had an option to go with the private lender.

All I can say is don’t buy a home from these guys.

3 month delay in closing, sales people throw in our face that they have 2 years to complete per state statutes. Cost us a lot of money for extended stay hotels and storage while they dragged their feet in getting the house built(and NO concessions at all). Wanted a pool home, none were available, with the huge delay, they could have incorporated it in the build. The sales person was always "we can't do that" Very poor customer service. The construction manager was great and the only bright spot in this transaction.

This is the worst concrete job we have ever had on a new home. When we closed on this house we addressed the crack on the top of our driveway to the supervisor he said he would put another cut into the concrete where the crack is and just made it look worse. We have contacted several contractors and they even said this is the worse concrete job they have ever saw. In time that crack will just keep chipping away they said which it already is and we only have been closed for less than 2 months. I tried to put a warranty call in and they said they would open a case I had to call twice because they said someone would contact me within 24 hours. I waited no response so that is why I called again. Then all the sudden I get an email from the supervisor saying the job was completed and that the concrete was poured again. That was not true at all he did not do anything. I put another call in and asked if they could have the supervisor please call my husband and I even text him and asked him to call and nothing no response at all. Few days later he text me said his concrete guys would be out the following week and patch. I went out to driveway and of course nothing was done to top of driveway but bottom of driveway well all I can say is what a joke. All they did was put a bunch of rocks and literally a slap of concrete which they did the same thing when we closed and it chipped out and so will this one. Our front porch looks like a porch that has been there for like 30 years. Very ruff texture stains all thru it and who knows what else they did to it. Now we have to pay someone to fix their stuff they should of done right to begin with. They seem to worry about the quantity instead of quality. Also the yard was never graded right very lumpy I can't even walk on the side of my house without almost falling. Elevation was never done correctly. Standing water in between our house and neighbors. For the money we paid for this house very disappointed that I now have to spend extra money for to fix their problems because they hire such cheap help. ... Más

I had a bad experience with Lennar throughout the construction process and even after completing the house construction. Construction manager was terrible, he does not care about what you are saying, even he does not listen to you. Whatever you say he simply says that is what it is. I wanted to go for the prepurchase inspection and asked the construction manager several times that was everything ready, he said yes every time but, on the inspection, day we noticed water meter did not get installed and house was messy everywhere, toilets were messy I concerned about it several times, but construction manager did not even care. The grading and house quality is very poor. They rushed me to find the cosmetic and other issue in the house within an hour. They don't let you to put blue tape as well. Sub standard materials after 1 year I see everything going to hoa. All new town homes and every building siding is falling off. Right not kidding. Road at end of street is caving in. Take a look at sawgrass and see. We’re still waiting for our refrigerator and dishwasher to be repairs for one month now.

This has been a nightmare. I moved my whole life across country only to have non stop repairs, I have to fight for on a daily basis. The quality and workmanship is non existence. Cheap and shotty work. I have spent more money of my own to correct all my issues. I would not recommend this builder. You have to stay on everyone as warranty does not respond. I had to go hirer up and threaten social media just to get some repairs handled. All I do is cry anymore. I made a HUGE mistake buying a Lennar home.

So many issues to fix. They forced me to close on the unit even though it wasn’t ready! Lennar kept my money since November!! The closing took place in February! I still have open tickets that haven’t been resolved. Not happy. Plus I was promised pools, restaurant, gym. Nothing had been built !! No Pool for us to use and it’s summer already. Terrible. Of course we are pushing full Maintenance:

The quality of materials and workmanship is sub-standard at best. Lennar houses are slapped together in an assembly line manner. There are no changes allowed of any sort. Our salesman flat out lied throughout the process. Once we got close to closing we finally were able to meet the construction manager. She has no knowledge of construction. She just knows what she's told by her bosses. There are so many issues to be fixed of which they rely on the warranty dept. So far the warranty dept has been good but it's alot of emails and scheduling for people to be in our house. I highly recommend everyone to save yourselves and stay away from Lennar. ... Más

Lennar has slight improvement in overall quality. However, it's still not meet customer's satisfaction. Responsiveness and coordination are still a big issues. Property orientation and closing arrangements are very confusing and not considering customer's need. Time response is extremely slow and sometimes not even replying customer's questions.

I felt rushed to move in, so that Lennar can show a completed sale despite the home was rushed. The home also had materials and parts removed to finish other homes in the series and when the contractors replaced parts back the quality control was compromised with re installation. Should have informed my lawyer to get involved with write contingencies before I sign off the walk thru. Felt like things were purposely hidden. should have never signed off in good faith things would be addressed. felt duped and lied too. Now moved in close to two months in and don’t feel comfortable inside my home. cannot even enjoy since the cabinets have missing hardware missed drilled holes, compromised installation, no quality control and tile has stains that were never buffed out. Our Lennar customer service rep is ok but the manager or foreman is a complete lack there of and never double checked worked. ... Más
