I would say to prospective homebuyers, Run! Do not stop in the office go as fast as you can to a better, reliable, more professional builder that will use quality products and stand behind their workmanship! I owned my house for a month and is already showing signs of decay that are not covered by the so-called warranty.

Questions with new home consultant were never actually answered, they were ‘danced’ around. Had 9 pages of fixes to be done after initial walk through. Upon the ‘final walkthrough’ there were workers still in the house fixing things. I left explaining the final walkthrough should mean everything is done and ready for review. Still not all things have been corrected almost 2 months after move in. Very disappointing as a first time home buyer. Don’t recommend.

This was a terrible experience and the home was not built well. Still dealing with issues. I would not recommend this builder at all. The quality of work, lack of follow-up for the builders and lack of professionalism/courtesy of Lennar Title.

Make sure before you close you have builders fix any issues don’t sign and let them promise that it will be fixed

We were very excited to build a home with Lennar, and were made to feel like they had an extensive, impeccable multi-point inspection process that would present new home buyers with a gorgeous home upon closing. Unfortunately, the reality is you’re given a home at closing with such obvious faults that it’s hard to believe that any inspections were performed at all. The workmanship and craftsmanship demonstrate that Lennar is not concerned about quality, only the quantity of homes that they are building at an unreasonable rate. From the moment we closed, getting Lennar to acknowledge and rectify the enormous list of issues inside/outside the home has been most frustrating process of all. Customer care is nearly non-existent, and we have been told directly that our requests for help have been put on to the back burner -- verbatim. When problems are finally addressed, 9 times out of 10 they create a new problem while fixing the old one, creating a vicious cycle of disappointment and frustration. If Lennar was once a high-end production home builder, this is now nothing more than a guise. My experience with Lennar has been nothing but a nightmare and still is. I have contacted sales managers (Mike) who told me he would get back to me and still hasn’t acted emails and calling him to schedule some things to get fixed. I had a leak in my master bathroom faucet, come to find out the plumber who installed the plumbing put the rubber rings on backwards which eventually would have caused them all to leak. My windows in the form were installed incorrectly and they are completely off. They fixed them once and they still are not correct and even the sales manager Mike said that but now he won’t get back to me. I’m sick of chasing these people. It is by far the worst company ever to work with. The customer service rep Rickey came to my home and I told him to leave because he was arguing in front of me with the contractors so I asked him to leave and he left exiting my home and slammed the door so hard I thought something broke. That’s great customer service right there. He shouldn’t be employed with the company! My salesperson David never offered me several things in the home, one being HDMI and outlets higher up for tvs in the wall, he also never offered me blinds so no I have to pay a lot of money to have someone come install them for me. He also is worthless. My carpet in the bedrooms is different color from the carpet in the hallway upstairs. It’s a mess. The workers with Lennar in my eyes are completely worthless and don’t know how to handle homeowners. Like I said I’m still waiting for the sales manager to call me to schedule and that was 2 weeks ago. I’m done chasing these people. They don’t care and it’s unfortunate. I’m also disgusted with the landscaping out front. They put rocks and sand under the shrubs and so now everyone’s is dying. They look disgusting out front. Everyone has dead shrubs. I wouldn’t recommend these people to anyone. My realtor even saw how they act about different things and she said that she will not give any referrers to Lennar also. ... Más

Very disappointed in the quality of materials and craftsmanship of the home. Extremely sloppy grout, wood work, and painting. We did not expect to move into a brand new home and need to fix SO MANY things— The amount of carelessness, cheap materials, and inexperience of their trade workers is evident in every room. Literally everything from the exterior paint peeling off after only one month, the cracks and water standing in the yard, to the windows being impossible to open—to the bulging outlets, drywall seam lines, and the amount of extra grout smeared on the shower and floor tiles— there is nothing luxurious about any of it! Like any new build there are sometimes are a few issues here and there that need to be corrected and the builder will stand behind those issues in this case there is a lot of things in place with the company to get you to tell them what’s wrong so that they can come back and take care of it the only problem is their systems keep crossing and the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing it’s been a very bad process so far and the quality of work on chip has been much less than in the past with this builder

The home is not worth what I paid for it, only the location is. It's a shame the quality of work, cheap appliances and material were used to build this type of home. I have a list of repairs from the first 2 months I have owned the home. Baseboards poping off in several locations, scratched glass doors, and toilet seats, warped doors, etc... I have reached out to the area manager to address a few issues and have not had a resolution within the last 4 weeks.

Think twice before buying a home from Lennar. The quality has gone down a lot. Had lot of issues just in the first month itself. 1) Crawlspace moisture issues (Puddles of water in crawlspace) 2) Crawlspace didn't have vapor barrier at all the places. 3) Leak in the garage. 4) Weather strip for the doors not installed correctly. 5) Faulty transformer for ring door bell. 6) Dry wall issues 7) and so on. I believe a homeowner shouldn't experience these many issues just in the first month if the build quality is good and is properly inspected.

I will not recommend Lennar. They used contractors who are not professionals in the industry. The guys who worked on my home looks like trainee -no experience at all. Workmanship is very very very poor. The inventory used is of cheap quality. Lawn is half done, Worst and cheap quality engineered hard wood. The floor is chipping out even before I closed. They did some patch work but the entire floor(atleast most of floor) needs to be redone. the exhaust fan in the kitchen makes sound loke a lawn mower. They showed something in model house but installed lower priced appliances.The staircase is glossy for couple of steps and is rough on all other steps The list goes on and I will not recommend Lennar. ... The experience was and still has been so bad, I would not recommend anyone this builder sadly. The service has not been good, still after 2 months of moving in to the house I still have things that have not been fixed, things that should have been done before the closing date.

I’ve spent so much time and effort trying to get Lennar to make things right I’m not going to spend a lot of time on this review. You name it; it’s broken or done haphazardly. NEVER again. And lastly, broken promise after broken promise to make things right. It’s not just me, any time I talk to a neighbor they’re dealing with the same thing. Completely unreal.

Buyer Beware..... Issues: 1. Soil not prepared properly 2. Blended Topsoil with compost was not used 3. Topsoil was not racked smooth 4. Topsoil not sloping away from house 5. Proper egress for water off the roof is not being accomplished 6. Sob was laid on top of building Material/ debris 7. Due to improper soil prep, there are holes throughout, trapping water causing patches of mold 8. Due to improper soil prep/ sloop away from house, there is standing water Northside of house/ gate area and back side of house/ area close to water spigot 9. Dead spots throughout lawn front and back yards 10. Sod has weeds 11. Sod has different types of grass mix 12. Sod has mold 13. Sod is not flat, can cause twisted ankle 14. Sprinkler system is not functioning properly, had to manually shut off water to prevent seepage from the sprinkler heads, backyard 15. Oak tree has major damage lower truck, not a healthy tree 16. Front house gutter drains, routed into black drain line, drains into front flower bed at side walkway, creating mold throughout flower bed, this should have been routed to drain close to front street 17. Flower bed not prepared properly, slopped, does not drain water off, holds water, mold is now present in the rocks 18. Flower beds duty weed barrier/ weave fabric not installed ... Más

I think poor workmanship no screens no garage door opener no deck build even though there were 30 inches between foundation they just moved up the dirt snd put grass on top. No caulking on floor for kitchen island. No quarter rounds anywhere on the floors Less cabinets in kitchen no cabinet in laundry toom. Shelves that are too high up. Bricks sticking out by the front entrance. Garage door is damaged. Driveway looks bad no gutters. Garage breakers are not strong enough. It keeps popping off no linen closet no drawers in the master bathroom. The exhaust in the kitchen above microwave is not connected. At closing of escrow just got handed a folder with no information on the HOA. Was contacted and was told the would FedEx it. Still waiting. It is a shame to be treated this way. Had a Richmond home before and was treated so much better. I will not ever recommend a Lennar home again ... Más

The quality of the build is not what we expected. A private inspector found 37 issues, some major. I will provide his report if requested. Mike B. and Tyler B. have been great in trying to help us take care of the issues, but the nobody returns phone calls letting us know when repairs will be made.

Lennar is no longer the company that use to be. The quality of their new homes is truly sad to see. My issue can be summarized in one sentence: Brand new home with a huge leak on the roof! Took MONTHS for them to resolve the issues. All they care about is closing closing closing. Consider other options for a new home purchase.

This was my first home I have ever purchased and Lennar homes absolutely ruin my experience. First, the sales rep I worked with (Amber) needs to find a new line work. While my home was under construction, I would periodically reach out to her with questions and at first I thought maybe she was just having a bad day based on the attitude I got however, it became a re-occuring issue and I realized she was just a completely rude and nasty person. You should never tell a customer if they have any questions or concerns feel free to give you a call and then when you call with a question you act as though I am bothering you. The construction Manager (Justin) is a complete liar, he said the day I was scheduled to close they would have the items fixed that were marked during my final walk through. The day I closed none of the items were completed and still my door is not painted. Imagine having a brand new home and a door is unpainted. The workmanship done was poor as well as the quality control. They installed a ring video camera door bell which do not work. They didn’t even leave me the box it came in. I have been fighting with the ring company for the last month on helping me to get it in working order. My shower rod in my second bathroom completely fell apart the first day I moved in. All of my bathrooms were clogged two weeks after I moved in. Again cheap poor workmanship. The purpose of buying a brand new construction home was so I didn’t have to play fixer upper and this home is making me do just that. To all prospective buyers please do your research, there are far better builders to work with. They closed home without fixing all the problems I mentioned. And now I'm struggling. Their responsiveness to issues are really zero. Also, the material they build is not so good. I will never recommend anyone to buy from Lennar.

Was Not a Warm Welcome, treat like I was not a person or my wife as if you don’t care. Everyone room was decorated but we was put in a plain room with the notary and had to yell to Lennar person across from the room if we need questions answered so unprofessional all the way even when key was put on table not out hand so wrong in so many way not even a picture like the other people was doing and ringing a bell . Plus the Townhouse was not clean did not do what we ask on list so rude.

It has been one thing after another We had a leak in our wall our tile and baseboard is ruined I had to fight with them for a mold inspection our vanity in that bathroom is cracked and they don’t want to replace it but fix it. The quality of materials is awful our inside door hinges are rusting after living here for less than a month They put do much drywall around my outlets i could not even use them an electrician had to remove outlet cover and chisel away excess drywall in order to make it usable I have paint chipping off my kitchen cabinets already because such cheap quality we also had a leak under our bathroom sink and because of the material being Cheap MDF the cabinet warped still waiting for it to be fixed The trades also got concrete all over my driveway ruing my pavers they have been here 5 times to power wash them and it’s still there We bought this house and all I do I cry I can’t even enjoy it the list goes on and on There are big gaps in my tiles in all bathrooms for not putting enough grout they didn’t caulk in many areas they hung the junction box in wrong place in my living room and list goes on and on ... Very bad experience, with everyone at Lennar Homes. I have been calling Lennar Corporate telephone number for weeks , I even sent a email and have not got a response. Today is August 29, 2022 and I have only two days left before my 60 day home warranty expires. During my closing walk through there was so much I saw that need to be fixed, the builder supervisor said don’t worry you have 60 days. Well my 60 days expire in 2 days and guess what I can’t get anyone to respond to my request. I will never build or purchase another home from Lennar or refer any of my friends and family to Lennar builders. The one big mistake I made during purchasing a home with LENNAR Builders was I thought that the sales person was helping me, when she is solely out to help the builder. Please let everyone of your buying a new home, please take a realtor with you, they are your true help. Also the other big mistake was not hiring a Realastate Attorney, if it had not been for a outside mortgage I used. I would have lost my earnest money and my home. This experience with LENNAR Homes have taught me a lot about making sure you cover yourself. I know we had a pandemic but this type of service and work is no excuse. Terrible home buying experience. Communication was terrible, little to no follow up. The mandatory inclusion of solar panels was not clearly communicated what the process for set up is and has not been resolved months after closing. Amenities were not fully completed and still unresolved after closing, kitchen water filter and internet equipment were not set up nor will Lennar correct the problems. The Ring system was not the same as the one in the model home. Overall this was a terrible experience and would not purchase from Lennar again. This is my second new build. I thought I was buying with a premier builder when we went with Lennar for our second new build and was expecting a better experience and better quality than our first home, especially when buying a million dollar home. I was wrong. From the very beginning I was disappointed with the quality and workmanship being put into the house. It appears Lennar's contracts with the cheapest subcontractors they can find whom put very little effort in the product they are providing. From framers to landscapers, everything appears to be of poor quality. The close out process was terrible, the Lennar superintendents were rude and straight up lied to our faces over and over. The worst, has been the warranty which we are on our second warranty rep in one month and both have been miserable. They constantly give false promises and never come thru, that is if they even respond and don't completely ignore me. It came down to forcing us to close and promising that everything is going to be corrected and completed immediately after closing to completely ignoring us, going on two months. Lennar does not seem to stand behind their product, and has substandard work, that is only made worse by the lack of customer service to address issues with their new home construction.
