Bad Experience | My New Home Is Not Good Quality | My 60 Day Warranty Along With Work Has Not Been Fixed

Very bad experience, with everyone at Lennar Homes. I have been calling Lennar Corporate telephone number for weeks , I even sent a email and have not got a response. Today is August 29, 2022 and I have only two days left before my 60 day home warranty expires. During my closing walk through there was so much I saw that need to be fixed, the builder supervisor said don’t worry you have 60 days. Well my 60 days expire in 2 days and guess what I can’t get anyone to respond to my request. Terrible home buying experience. Communication was terrible, little to no follow up. The mandatory inclusion of solar panels was not clearly communicated what the process for set up is and has not been resolved months after closing. Amenities were not fully completed and still unresolved after closing, kitchen water filter and internet equipment were not set up nor will Lennar correct the problems. My INTERESTING experience with Lennar

I’ve been completely and utterly unhappy with my home purchase. Since buying a Lennar home, I’ve had a gas leak, my floors seem like they are sinking in, and plumbing seems to be a problem. My home has been riddled with problems. If you're looking to buy a home, I would suggest you do a thorough investigation on the builder before you buy. I wish everyday I could get my money and time back.

Had a Terrible Experience Throughout

This is my second new build. I thought I was buying with a premier builder when we went with Lennar for our second new build and was expecting a better experience and better quality than our first home, especially when buying a million dollar home. I was wrong. From the very beginning I was disappointed with the quality and workmanship being put into the house. Lennar does not seem to stand behind their product, and has substandard work, that is only made worse by the lack of customer service to address issues with their new home construction.

I do understand that Lennar is an extremely large builder that relies on volume not on quality. I think what disappointed me the most was the lack of interest to pay attention to detail, inspect their own work and the lack of interest to make things right. For those reasons plus more I can not recommend Lennar to anyone

Overall Horrible Experience

Just bought a Lennar home and I advise everyone to avoid buying these homes. These homes are cheaply built, workers drink on the job (I have the beer cans in my house to prove it), and there is no urgency when it comes to resolving issues. There is no reason why brand new homes should be having any issues - we even experienced a gas leak our first night on the property! They should be ashamed of themselves and I suggest they cut their prices for these homes.

I had a very very unhappy home buying experience with Lennar. Starting from the sales to finance to home construction, ar every step, the whole experience was very unpleasant and compromising. The quality of the construction was suboptimal and there are multiple visible flaws that were not corrected even after they were reported in the inspections. Worst home buying experience ever

Was told by the sales person they’re not making this style of home anymore, when I stated I would wait for similar model in different location. Now I see same model being built I’m different location, for $50K cheaper. House was filthy when I moved in, construction dust on all the window sills. Door to garage doesn’t close all the way. Buying an unfinished home

This has been my worst experience buying a new home. This is my 3rd. I closed the house because the bank told me that a delay will raise the Interest rate. In that moment I was trapped. I moved to a house with no bath vents, loose floor tiles, no windows sills or painting completed, wavy drywalls, and a long etc. after 2 months and a half living here lennar haven’t repaired a single screw. Oh yes, they repaired the main entrance door because I lived there with no door lock for the first 3 days.

Very little construction knowledge by all Lennar representatives. There is no concern for quality or making sure products were installed properly

Don’t buy Lennar! There is obviously no supervision during construction and if provided no experienced construction managers. Absolutely NO CONCERN FOR QUALITY! They constantly try to fix items that were not installed properly (I.e.) doors, especially exterior doors instead of removing and reinstall properly or replace. It is sad that Lennar accepts the butcher quality of work provided by their sub-contractors. We didn’t get what we paid for! All my neighbors feel the same way!

Waste of Money. Poor Quality and Service.

It’s just been more than a month and we have raised 10+ service request already. We entered into our new home and hot water won’t work. Pipe leaked in basement. Cabinet door came off. Switch won’t work. AC stopped working and they said they need 3 weeks to fix it and punished me to suffer in high temperatures inside the home. Would never recommend lennar to anyone.

You guys severely lack ownership and inter-team communication

The sales person, construction managers, and closing agent failed to take ownership of their actions and severely lacked in communicating among themselves for a smooth closure. The sales person towards the end shows bad attitude which made our closing experience worst of all. Amateurs! Poor craftsmanship!
