Our house has multiple issues. Brand new build. Mold, pool issues that Lennar installed, leaving windows, electrical and plumbing issues. Several calls, emails and texts. Six months. No resolution or attempt to correct. This community is new and other home owners have same complaints. Lennar is aware, but ignores.

This home was supposed to be my dream home. I was not given upfront, honest information from the time I signed the contract to the building of my home. Front elevation by front door was not what i signed for , it was a bait and switch. Lot was not what I needed - specifically told sales rep I wanted yard with a pool, my yard has so much utility items now running through that I cannot have a pool. The company has not been responsive to my issues, I have had to follow up multiple times to get any actions completed. Their subcontractors are not reliable. Lennar does not return messages. ...

Horrible experience would never buy another Lennar home poor quality. Customer service is the worst. Employees change every few months. Speaks a lot about the company and management.

Lennar Homes poor Quality.

Since we moved into the new home that Lennar built, it has been one issue after another. The very first day we moved in we had a gas leak. Since then, several issues with the dish washer, broken master bedroom sink faucet, numerous cracks on the molding, doors, and wall throughout the home. Dents and scratches on door, wall, and shelves (that were put in backwards), paint stains all over the house. We found razor blades on top of door frames and upper shelves. The list goes on and on. Have only lived in this brand new house for a few months and have to had several things fixed, half our outlets didn’t work, faucet won’t work correctly, sprinkler system was broken, and you can see several screws sticking out of the dry wall. Didn’t come with anything worth the cost, not even enough cabinet space for 2 people to store a very small/normal amount of kitchen appliances. Our sales lady Alyssa was also very rude and unresponsive throughout the entire buying process

Disorganized and Uncaring Organization

I have occupied this newly purchased home in Gold Canyon for four months and several repairs were requested upon the 30-day move-in customer care plan. The representative said the work will be done. NOTHING has been done, Lennar's contact personnel are non-existent and Lennar does not respond to our website's customer care requests. Once they took our money Lennar disappeared like a fart in the wind. Sorry we bought this Lennar house. There are better builders available.

Worse build ever!!

So not sure where to start. Bought house with down payment, Lennar waited 3 months to start building, we went through 3 Construction managers, the 3rd one quit 2 weeks after we closed. Craftmanship is awful!! walls are wavy, paint is extremely cheap. Calking throughout home is bad. DO NOT BUY LENNAR HOMES. When we did our walk through we found issues, they told us that these issues would not hold off closing, I asked for all issues to be taken care of prior to closing. We found out during final walk through only a few were taken care of, the 3rd CM didn't even care about the issues. Now 4 ...

Overall so disappointed We had delays and issues that were never communicated until we went higher up At this point the VP of the area said quote “If you don’t want the home tell me and we will give you your money back” WOW!

Cutting Corners

Bought in the middle of the pandemic and the housing shortage. Sometimes the most prestigious of organizations prioritize gain versus quality. I moved in 4 months ago and it took a lot of effort to address all the poor workmanship and materials. They are still being worked on. I believe the issues I am experiencing could have been avoided if there was accountability on making sure the final product met expectations. No light bulb in the garage and uneven floors (both 1st and 2nd floors) to name a few that should be noticeable but was deemed acceptable by Lennar's inspectors/QA.

Nothing was completely done before handing over the key

I wanted to move in on the closing date that was promised. So I was ok if there were 2 or 3 items that could be fixed later. But I had around 45 items on the list. After 4 months, there are still several items that haven't been fixed. Especially the windows have so many scratches. Contractors from different companies have visited and taken a note of all the issues. Still there is no resolution. The painting/Stain on the rails are so poorly done. The house was not cleaned and I still dont have this resolved on the places where I cant reach. I would never trust Lennar with such poor experience.

Lennar has succeeded at making my first home buying experience terrible in so many ways. Closed Jan 19th and still have floors popping up all over house. Got huge runaround by flooring company. Now I have to be displaced from my home for 3 days and pray things are actually done correctly this time.

Lennar takes advantage of buyers and has terrible build quality

If at all possible DO NOT buy a house from Lennar. If at all possible they will take advantage of price increases on your contracted home to selectively cancel your contract and force you to re-contract on the same house at a higher price. They will do this the day before closing forcing your hand to fork over more money. The quality of the house is terrible. Our floor tiles buckle, the kitchen island is not level do food rolls off, the HVAC cannot maintain safe humidity levels, there are a number of mis-wired switches and missing GFCI and or AFCI breakers. Our master bath sink is cracked. ...

We had EVERY Appliance in our home changed, still waiting for parts from GE after 4 months. Everything that has been “fixed” has required an additional contractor to fix what the first one damaged

The day of move in/closing, my wife ran the dishwasher to clean some new dishes purchased. About 15 min into the cycle we smell something burning, open the dishwasher to find the sprayer was improperly installed, fell over and caught fire on the heating element. We immediately sent in the warranty claim, to which we were told this is through the applicable manufacturer. After 3 weeks without resolution Lennar finally stepped up and replaced the dishwasher. Now we are about 6 months in the home, I have hardwood floors splitting down the center of planks. I brought in the flooring manufacturer ...

Lack of quality of workmanship. Sub contractors are sub standard. Construction manager was either fired or quit. Lennar needs to care about the customer.

Make sure you get a home inspection. Do not close until the cleaning company does a satisfactory job. Subcontractors need to take pride in their work.
