The quality of the home is bad, everything was made rushed. One issue comes up after another. The construction managers drive around the neighborhood texting and driving not even looking up on the road since there is still contruction going on. There are kids on the neighborhood and its dangerous to let them out.

I am local to the home office, but was forced to close via remote video. Therefore no one was face to face to hand me the keys to my home. I asked how this would be handled and was assured they would have my keys at the neighborhood model home. I reached out to them after closing and was assured someone would be at the model home to provide me my keys that afternoon until 630PM, I drove the 45 minutes to the model home and no one was there. This started the lies and misinformation for the next 72 hours. I was told multiple stories about what the issue was. Finally they admitted they had lost the keys, when I asked for a solution I was met with contempt and lack of empathy. It took them 72 hours to finally change the locks and provide me with keys to my home. However they also lost my mailbox keys, since they were with the original set of keys. This took two weeks to resolve and only after they had miraculously found the lost keys. When I asked for compensation for time spent locked out of my home I was met with ire and treated as if I was in the wrong. I still have never been made whole and essentially tossed aside. This seems to be an issue with Lennar as the same thing happened in 2018 when I bought a different house they had misplaced the keys however at that time the sales rep was on top of it and we had the keys within a few hours. please remove my name from the entrance of the building for the private and we do not walk through the entrance since we have different entrance. the garage door is automatically open and close . need to be fixed asap.

Not good quality construction

Me and my family where in process of buying a new construction from them, well once all came down to paperwork the appraiser under praised it AND THEY WOULDNT BUDGE! You would think we’ll sale th house to us for that price he “appraised” it for shoot I’ll even settle for 10k over appraisal! BUT, not lennar lol noooooo they CANCELLED ALL PAPERWORK TERMINATED OUR HOME BUYING PROCESS THE ONLY GOOD WAS GETTING OUR MONEY BACK! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY OR ANYTHING FROM THEM! THEY SAY THEY ARE HERE TO “HELP” YOU BUT CAN GIVE 2 SH*TS ABOUT YOU OR ANYONE ELSE!

I bought Lennar Home Second time. Once I moved in the New house. After one month later so many quality issues are appeared in this house. when I did the service request. The Customer service Representative are so unprofessional and they are omitting the reputation of Lennar Home Builder. They are just making the customer upset rather than help them. I recommend all my Friends and relatives not to buy any Lennar Homes in Future. its Quality and services are very low day by day. Investing money to buy Lennar Home is now Powering water on the sand.

My experience has been very very bad been in my home for almost months door knobs falling off Clay said scraw them back on with a screwdriver I'm not doing that only a month and a half old dishwasher leak island bulking no one answers to fix the problem he said I didn't water the grass Thats why it's dead no mama I promise to GodI watered the Grass it was dead when I moved in All I want is my house Fixed. Absolute garbage. Will never buy lennar again

My first-time home buying experience with Lennar was extremely disappointing, and I feel obligated to warn other homebuyers especially first-timers before they commit to this builder. From the beginning, communication was a major problem, especially from both the loan officer Nick and the construction manager Nick. As a first-time buyer, I expected guidance, reminders, and clarity throughout the process. Instead, I constantly had to remind them of important deadlines and follow-up on documents that they should have been managing. Their lack of communication created unnecessary stress and confusion from start to finish. The situation became even worse when we were told our home would be ready for signing before the end of the month. Based on Lennar’s own timeline, I informed my landlord that we would be moving out by the end of the month. But sure enough, we were delayed from our original closing date which was NOT due to the home not being ready, but entirely because of the loan officer Nick’s failure to properly walk me through the loan process, explain documents I didn’t understand, and communicate critical deadlines for submitting paperwork. My original closing date was October 5th. It was delayed the day before twice in a row. I didn’t end up closing until October 23rd. That nearly three-week delay left me and my family extremely stressed, unsure if we would even be able to secure the home before the date we told our landlord we would be moving out. All of this could have been avoided with basic communication and professionalism. The worst part of the entire buying experience came at the end, when I had already committed and had no choice but to move forward after giving my landlord our move out date. On top of that, the construction manager and his contractors failed to address the issues listed in my third-party inspection which I paid for out of pocket. Most items were simple, obvious fixes, yet many were ignored or “repaired” in a sloppy, half-done way. It felt like they wanted to rush through instead of ensuring the home was delivered in proper condition. To be fair, the only positive experience I had with Lennar was at the beginning with the sales consultant Dan, who was very informative and communicative. He was actually the reason I proceeded with Lennar in the first place. Unfortunately, everything after that especially the loan and construction process was the complete opposite. After this experience, I will never buy another home from Lennar again. The stress, lack of communication, last-minute delays, and poor quality of repairs completely ruined what should have been an exciting milestone. I’d honestly rather go back to renting than deal with another home purchase through them. I strongly recommend future buyers to proceed with caution, get your own third-party inspection, and be prepared for a lack of accountability from their team. ... Más

I was informed before closing and after the initial inspection that I paid for that all deficiencies would be fixed. There was a minor crack in the outside foundation. I commented about it and was told by the independent inspector. Don't worry the builders correct that. After I paid wired funds I had to sign off on repairs being completed. There i was told: company policy says we don't fix that crack. They don't put a glaze on it either. I was informed about 8 missing window blinds were a deficiency. Same response: company policy we don't fix that. I was also brought to the backyard and told you were told you would get sod for your entire yard. Well we don't do that.bCompany policy. You get some. You better pay a lot of money to water it or it will look dead. It won't be dead. Trust us. If I could unbuy this house I would. Oh and on top of this during closing you took too much money from my account. Did you apply it to my mortgage? Absolutely not. Did you give me an option to bring a check? No. Did you let me bring cash? No. Did you let me send them via ACH and pay less. No. So the overpayment lies in limbo. I called and asked can you just print it for me. No company policy. Some of my neighbors who signed the home around the date I signed got way better deals . I trusted sales person and thought they will do right. But I felt like I got cheated.

No customer service Many building defects and complaints that have never been addressed. Misrepresentation and fraudulent information that were given. False advertisement and misleading information given to purchasers. Ceiling lights outlets don’t work in any of the rooms Light switches are improperly installed Insects and chips everywhere including other defects Doorbell does not work properly HOA - Lawn Care HOA fee higher than quoted prior to purchasing the home Many other false statements about the property No follow up to complaints

Throughout the home buying process we were sent many documents and forms with errors then pressured to sign them even after we asked for them to be corrected. Details like the home address and payment amount were not correct, as well as other important details that make a big difference when buying a home. Trevin seemed to be the source of many of these major errors and even after speaking to him on the phone they failed to be fixed. We constantly felt like we were being mislead by representatives from Lennar with many different parties saying very different things, often times contradictory. Overall the communication was extremely poor and Lennar needs to do a better job training its employees how to properly share information. As far as the home itself, we have found many details that seem like they were completed hastily during building and will need to be fixed. ... Más

Absolutely poor quality worksmanship well outside ROC standards the builder allows to pass inspections. Dealing with their finance team is a nightmare - failure to close on time due to their errors and still asking for more documents months after closing.

Lets start at the beginning. We came to Veranda preserve to purchase twin homes, for my wife and I, and for our daughters to live next door., Mind you we lived in the Tampa Area, before the purchase. First we told the salesperson that showed the homes, that we didn't want an electric compartment outside our home. Next we asked about fencing in both yards, without a divider fence. After we left the agent kept telling us what lots we were purchasing, but being a distance, we thought we were getting the house with the wood plank tile. Well at the first home walk through we were shown the the wrong home with the electrical compartment out on the lawn, and no wood plank tile flooring. Then come to find out WE HAD to install a divider fence WE still cant program the Ring doorbell and the Schlage deadbolt. Did the reset on the Ring quite a few times, and it wont connect. The Schlage deadbolts lights wont come on to program it. And just this week we had the AC go out. There was water in the pan. We drained the pan and line, but next morning the pan was full of water. The AC got fixed after we call Lennar for no AC. The problem was the drainage line was not properly installed, and the water wouldn't drain because of the angle of the hose. Then there is the minor things, like opening up the refrigerator, and the door hits the light switch. and Cabinet door handles hit the walls when opening. Oh lets not forget getting the glue off the floors or the sprinklers flooding both sides of the back ward. Being a Realtor, I shake my head at all the false things we were told, and the poor designing of the cabinets and refrigerator. I will be surprised if I ever get a response to this. My worst experience buying a home! I can’t even have a shed because the HOA said so. I’ve had to fix two doors because they don’t close. When I replaced the carpet with LVP, the amount of trash and debris swept under the trim was unbelievable! I have pictures. My yard looks like a construction site with the trash left in it. My vehicles need to be washed every 2 days because of the dust. Vouchers should be given for car washes. I don’t understand why when the sod is laid that that the good sod is in the front of the home and the crap sod is in the back. The sprinkler system only does the front and side of the home. I added additional rain bird sprinklers and fought through construction debris to get it installed. I’m fed up the Lennar and the price we paid for our home. My recommendation is don’t but unless you want and are able to deal with bull crap. ... Más

Worst, irresponsible, immoral builder in the US! Run away from their lucrative offers, before you end up in the trap and realize what a mirage it was.

It was horrible! They robbed me 15k and I would never buy or recommend anyone to buy a house with this company!

The staff was generally unhelpful, often disrespectful, and consistently untimely. The overall workmanship and quality of materials used in the home are subpar. When I moved in, the house appeared hastily assembled—there was glue left on the floors (which is still there, as the property manager was unable to remove it), and multiple cabinets were misaligned and required adjustment. Several doors and paint areas were left incomplete or showed noticeable yellowing. The paint has been cracked since day one and continues to worsen, despite multiple requests for repair. Its cheap quality no power outlet for kitchen iland no lock for bed rooms and master bath room no internet outlet , you need to make a hole to any wall to get internet connection no response from lennar support team except virtual visit which cannot resolve anything worst finishing on front porch and back patio no blinds for back patio door no water softener loop no gutters

As a repeat Lennar home buyer, I bought a second home from Lennar as I liked the floor plan and the neighborhood and had an overall good experience with my first Lennar home. However, this second home I recently purchased was a disappointing experience from beginning to end, plagued with numerous quality issues with the home, a lack of a robust quality assurance review process, lack of responsiveness, and an even worse warranty experience after purchase. Sales & Construction Process: - While they were all pleasant friendly and professional people, there was a lack of or sometimes no response and follow up from construction managers in spite of continued emails from myself and my realtor requesting updates on open issues, and in spite of being told by my Sales Rep in writing that we would get weekly updates on the construction of our home (never occurred even once), thereby causing delays in closing as issues were not fixed on time, repeatedly. - Significant defects in construction quality that had to be identified by the homeowner & my realtor vs. Lennar having a robust quality assurance process to identify and remediate issues BEFORE a walk through was performed. Not allowing a homeowner to blue-tape defects during a Walkthrough is an industry-first and caused gaps in what had to be remediated prior to closing. So, had to do 4 walk throughs due to all the defects and remediation, causing delays in closing. - Lack of knowledge and technical know-how by construction managers as they couldn't explain how defects would be repaired, or how they were repaired by the trades people after they were completed. - Trade workers used to remediate issues would fix one issue yet create another issue (damage), causing repeated delays in closing. Yet again was left up to the homeowner and realtor to identify this vs. the Lennar team exhibiting accountability to proactively resolve the issues and "do what was right" without the homeowner having to constantly push and escalate to get issues addressed. In addition, being a repeat customer did not seem to matter in resolving these situations so customer loyalty did not seem to be valued. The home was not properly cleaned and delivered at closing and I was given the excuse "this is a Builder's clean" which frankly is a self-inflicted insult on Lennar if this is the quality they deliver to customers upon closing. Others including my realtor agreed it was subpar. As an example, the level of paint splatter all over the LVP throughout the home was unbelievable as I am still working to get all that scraped up myself 2 months after closing. Warranty Processs: The Warranty Manager (Bryan) seemed to be focused only on metrics and directed me to submit the requests only on a certain day as he didn't want the ticket to be open for too long which would presumably reflect on him. Coming from the service ticket industry myself, this is highly inappropriate to influence a customer on the timing of ticket submission as opposed to focusing on the quality of the work to be performed and ensuring proper resolution. His focus was on quantity (ticket closure) vs. Quality (warranty request completeness and customer satisfaction). Also, there were not constructive conversations for my warranty requests with Bryan as he was often combative, disrespectful, made unprofessional comments, condescending, kept blaming me for issues that the trade vendors caused, and never was onsite to oversee the quality of repairs done by the trade workers thereby putting me as the homeowner in an uncomfortable position to assess the completeness and quality of the repairs which is not my responsibility. As just one example, during one of the warranty repair conversations on the phone, Bryan said to me "you seem to have a problem with Lennar's quality yet you bought two homes from them". This remark to me was not only irrelevant to the warranty matter at hand, but highly unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for me as the homeowner/customer. He proceeded to be combative and said "there's nothing I can do to make you happy" and in spite of what I said to explain my view on things, he interrupted me and repeated three times in a row "you have a great day" and hung up on me. During this conversation, one of the construction managers overheard Bryan's phone conversation with me, and that person reached out to me separately to apologize and said this is not representative of the quality Lennar provides to customers. This speaks volumes if even other Lennar staff has recognized how Bryan treats his customers. In fact, my neighbors and even the community HOA rep have all indicated challenges with this warranty manager's communication and level of respect for the homeowners. I have purchased with many other big-box builders and never experienced this lack of quality and overall customer care experience. On the day that I went for my walk-through, Jerry and Kevin promised me that things will be fixed on that note there was was not fixed and also they promised me that my backyard would be sod and lied to me so I told them that they lied to me

My experience with Lennar Morgage is very bad which result in I don’t wanna buy any Lennar house any more. The loan documents have a lot issue and it took us a lot time to get the clarity we need. Steve our loan officer is not responsive and not a problem solver. He kept throw our question away. We have consistently have frustration feelings that don’t wanna continue any more. A lot steps that only let us know at the last minute and keep push us to take action immediately without any turn around time. The stuff should be more efficient and give customers enough time to take actions

From the minute I signed a contract with Lennar it was a nightmare. The loan process was one of the worst experiences of my life. For someone having perfect credit and another house paid off and no debt they asked a million questions about my finances (having nothing to do with my loan). Then waited until the day of my walk through to let me know I was approved, talk about inconsiderate and stressful. Had I known I was going to go through what I did I would not have bought a Lennar home.
