Rather than review the loan package and request all needed items at once the person handling the loan kept asking for one thing at a time so I would submit the one document they asked, and then the next day they want another and then another I ended up having to stay in a hotel because I sold my prior home and had nowhere to go. I’ve purchased many homes through the years and this was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had!!

Very difficult to get questions answered. Need to figure out myself to deal with several associates to get issues resolved. Spent lots of time to find mail box key. Buying a house should be easy like before dealing with only one agent; all issues got resolved quickly and effectively. ONE STOP SHOPPING makes life much easier . My worst house purchasing. Avoid!

She never communicated with me the buyer. I would have to be the one to call the office to get answers to my questions, even then she would have to find out the answers to my questions and get back to me. She never did call me back until I had to be the one to her call back. Unacceptable. Customer Service team was great!

Lennar lending was the worst experience I’ve ever had to deal with. Took 5 days past first closing date to actually close. Kept coming up excuses to why they could not get paperwork done. Suggestion to company make one contact point throughtout the whole process to many hands involved with the process definitely Lennar inner communication was none.

The sals person doesn’t have much experience and irresponsible. The day in last year November when we first came to the sale office is also her first day at this subdivision. Both her iPad and computer didn’t work, she didn’t pay attention to what we said to her which caused misunderstanding late. She insisted us contacting a Lennar financial person at Austin, and late on she told us to switch another person at Houston. I have to register twice. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, LENNAR! From the fact that: 1. You sent us a "Notice of Non-Compliance" and said you were going to cancel our contract and retain our deposit after LENNAR failed to provide the home on the scheduled due date due to construction delays. Avoid using Lennar's lender!

We got sucked into using Lennar's lender for money towards closing. If the housing market wasn't so tight right now we would have backed out after dealing with the lender Jennifer. She was unresponsive, unprofessional & lacked knowledge required to do her job. It was a terrible first time homebuying experience. If you can avoid this, go with Lennar, if not stay clear.

Dishonest sales practices

When we first met RJ, the sales rep, in November, he told us that the prices had been reduced considerably because Lennar needed to sell all of their inventory by the end of December 2023, in order to be able to build new homes in Franklinton. He lead me to believe that the prices would go back up in the new year and that these prices were almost “too good to be true.” This caused “the fear of missing out” within me, so I was compelled to sell my home on Opendoor (the only way Lennar accepts contingencies), for a $30-40K loss. Disappointing is an understatement when it comes to our homebuying experience. Only employees we had a positive experience with are Leah who sold us the house and has been great. And crystal who did our walk through and has helped us get a number of items fixed. Where do i start? Judy who works in Title was completely clueless that we were even buying a house. We have had struggles and issue with our home from the start. We got in the home in spite of Lennar Financing, it seems like they did everything they could to keep us from being financed. But we got in anyway. Now with the home we have had multiple issues one right after another, some in series.

The financial team was not aware of the new VA loan process. My processor did not communicate with me until 30 days before closing. I started my home buying process in August of 2022. I did not speak with her until late April early May 2023. I eventually had to use outside lenders and obtain legal counsel to close on my home. This process was horrible.

This home was overrated, over priced and structurally changed from the model home. Therefore it is not worth mentioning how bad this experience has been. Quality and workmanship is livable and ok with final product, but not good or great. Many items need to be fixed or adjusted. I am concerned how it will be after one full year. This is not the normal quality standard in prior build purchases from Lennar. Unfortunately I will not recommend Lennar nor buy Lennar in the future.

I decided to give new home buying a shot. I’ve purchased four primary homes in the last 10 years so yes I do have some experience. However new home buying with Lennar has been nothing but painful. I think their intents were right but the execution was horrible. First off, each dept doesn’t care about their peers so they just push accountability around. Second, the loan dept was the worst I’ve used ever. Didn’t really have a choice as their deal was the best for rate. Let's start with Lennar Lender - Regina Stacy was the one who provided her services and she locked our rate when we didn't ask her; she also mentioned that we could change it free of charge later, which wasn't true - she did nothing to help us lower the rate. This was the main the most negative experience that required a lot of stress and attention. Overall build quality is ok but could be better. In our experience, the home buying process at The Province in Indian Wells was terrible, although we love the home, the neighborhood, and our neighbors. The main trouble came from the Representative at the model homes, Corina. Once we opened escrow, this was our point of contact. Buying a lennar home is not for the weak, loan officer's are terrible, unknowledgable, Unorganized and truly do not have the customers interest in mind. That goes all the way to management, my l9an officer kept putting blame on others and not fixing anything such as my disclosures being incorrect multiple times and him saying that it didn't matter only the final one matters. No Oven On Move In?

Moved into my house with a gas oven but my house was built for electric. Construction manager k ew about it during my walk and guaranteed it wld be replaced by move in day.....didn't happen. My realtor and I called every number for Lennar we could find to get the situation resolved before Christmas dinner. Took three days to finally get it. Customer service was horrible. Can't believe that happened. Manager knew about my issue and stilll went on vacation with his family k owing I had no oven. Ridiculous

My experience with purchasing this home has been nothing but frustrating. Their communication amongst the different departments need a lot of work. Be very diligent with who you work with,. Never meet sales associate, never had the immensities explain to me, was never told how to acquire the amenities. now at the closing the notary spent more time with me than Lennar’sl closing agent. The notary had no answers for any of my questions. When lennar’s closing agent finally arrived she could not answer questions that I had , probably into a bigger hurry to go to lunch. Now the house well prepared but lacked attention to the small details therefore I rate the house a 3.5 out a 5

The homebuying experience was poor. Sales staff were dodgy about answering questions and not very transparent about the homebuying process. It was a sellers market and this was an apportunity for builders to show what kind of seller they were going to be and they showed it.
